nursing pads

im just wondering how long everyone used nursing pads?
i only had to use them about 2 months, i am still bf but my boobs dont leak anymore, thankgod.... when i was using them i was going through more than 10 a day...
anyway just wondering how long you all used them for

From memory I think I used nursing pads till Ozzy was around 9 months of age.

We started him on solids at 6 months but he didn't really get stuck into solids until 9 months old so it wasn't till then that my milk really dropped.

i was actually just thinking about this the other day, as when i was pregnant i stocked up big time on nursing pads!!
But only had to use them for the first couple months if that. then they stopped leaking and nothing ever again! Didnt need as many as i thought.

I had so much milk that I had to use breast pads the entire time I was breastfeeding!! (which was 10 months!)

I'm at 6 months and still going.
Most days I don't seem to leak, but there is the odd day where they are definitely needed, so I just use them to be safe.

Oh and I have now been breastfeeding for nearly 16 months and I still get the occasional leak! :eek:
