Advice pls - should I or shouldn't I??

Hi ladies, I am in desperate need of some advice. I have just been prescribed antibiotics for food poisoning and they tell you not to take them if you are pregnant or intend becoming pregnant as they may cause birth defects. The problem is that I am ovulating today. Should I continue TTC or stop for this month.

I only have to take the tablets for 7 days which would mean that if I do catch the egg it probably wouldn't have implanted whilst I am on the medication.

I can't not take the meds as I have been sick for 5 days now and this is the only option.

I would take this month off better to be safe.

Did you mention to you dr that you were TTC, normally they'll let you know if you'd be safe taking them. I'd suggest calling your doctor or take the month off, and start TTC again next month.

I just wish I had've known the dr was going to put me on these antibiotics last night before me and DF DTD. Oh well, whatever will be will be.
