Hey guys! Hope you are all well!
I'm just newly preg. (about 7 weeks) and i have the itchiest skin ever. I have eczema to go with my asthma but for the last 2 weeks my skin has been 1000 times worse. Has anyone else had this problem? and if so what did you do for it? It is all over my back, legs - front and back, face and bits on my arms. Have eczema cream and antihistamine tablets but don't want to be using them 24/7.
Thanks Guys!

Hi, firstly congratulations on your pregnancy. Secondly, I can honestly sympathise with you with your eczema. Like you, I also had eczema when I was pregnant. I tried all the cortisone creams under the sun, along with bath oils to help relieve some of the discomfort; in the end it was the wet dressings (like a clean multi purpose cloth) applied to the body every 4 hours that helped the most. Time consuming as it was, but it helped cool the body down and help control the eczema from becoming any worse. By 14 weeks gestation my ob also prescribed me oral cortisone to take, he re-assured me it won't affect my twins and in fact help there lung development. I also started taking Fish oil, which I found to help also. I hope this helps you. Good luck.
