bleeding & scared

went to gp on fri as supposed to be 6+wks pregnant a started spotting. referred to epu nxt morn for scan. had scan & was told only 5wks preg. had examination done & told cervix was still closed & told to come back in 11days to see if h/b could be detected & that if bleeding got worse or had any cramps or clotting to call back. its now been 3days since i first started bleeding & its at a light period type bleed & showing no signs of stopping. have had 4preg b4 now & never had any bleeding & am really scared am loosing baby.had been ttc for 13months after stopping depro & am so scared its now all over

oh hunni, :hugs:. Try not to think too much about it (hard, I know). Bleeding early in pregnancy is quite common. If you're really worried, find a private OB and ask for an internal ultrasound. I freaked out at 5 weeks and my OB gave me an internal u/s to find the heartbeat. It may cost a few $$'s, but for peace of mind it is worth it.
Not sure if the usual ultrasound places will do an internal u/s, thats why I suggest a private OB.
