Chicken mince

I brought some chicken mince on special but I dont know what I can make with it. Any ideas on things you can make with chicken mince????

You could make some chicken rissoles :yes:
chuck in an egg, some breadcrumbs, and whatever else you have on hand, like some carrot, onion, maybe some grated parmesan cheese, make them into patties, however big you would like. Put them in the fridge for about 1/2 an hr first, this helps them retain their shape, then heat up the fry pan, add some oil and cook them! yum yum :)
Serve them with whatever you want, a cold night like this, I think chicken rissoles with mashed pumpkin/potato and some vegies would really hit the spot!
You could also do a meatloaf as well :)

As well as rissoles that are very yummy - you can do a chicken shepherd's pie or a chicken lasagna. You can basically just substitute chicken mince with beef/pork/lamb/veal mince. I recently :chef: made a chicken mince lasagna and it was delish!!

I am making chicken tacos for dinner tonight. They are DH's favourite!

I make the rissoles and then put a cube of tasty cheese in it so when you cut it open, melted cheese comes out.
It's actually a Weight Watchers recipe but the boys love it!

Chicken and spinach lasagne is yummy. You can make it with a tomato sauce, or a cheese sauce or an alfredo sauce. Chicken mince pasta bake is yummy too. I make that for Brion, he loves it!

my mum just rolls it into little balls (like meatballs - but chicken) we then eat it hot or cold and dip into some sauce - tomato, bbq or sweet chilli is yummy!!!!!!!!!!! the kids love it and they freeze really well

Also - chicken hamburgers. Same way as you make beef ones, but sustitue the chicken - eat them with sweet chili sauce and salad - yummo :chef:
