Hi it's Jayden's mum again. I've got inquiry that I would love for anyone to answer. I have an interview on Friday with Bambini Models in Sydney for my 4 month old son. Im wondering if anyone knows what they are like and do you recommend them. Also if anyone has been or still with them can you let me know how they are as an agent. It's so hard decided on who to go with cause there's so many and I dont want to be ripped off. If anyone can help me with this situation before Friday it would be so appreciated.
Thank you.
Jayden's mum. :)

hi jaydensmum
eliana is with bambini models & i have found them great so far - she has been called up only once but we couldnt make it to the casting - they put out newsletters so you can see what jobs have been done - most are quite specific as to the type, age, size of baby
pm me if you have more questions & let me know how you go on friday

Bambini seems to be well above board from what I could see.

Ive been accepted in Bambini Models!! I've been so worried all week about todays interview and Jayden was accepted. Thank you to your replys. It's great hearing from other people's views on the agency. From what I saw today it seems great and hopefully Jayden will get his first job soon. The woman told me that he was the only one on their books in his age group (0-3mths) which is great, no competition. If anyone else would like to tell me their experiences with Bambini Models I would love to hear them. For the people who are in Bambini did you find it hard to get into the agency? Anyway I better get going and hopefully you'll see Jayden in a magazine or TV commercial, how cool is that!!
Bye for now

well done naomi - eliana was the only one in the 0-3months when she joined but nothing came up for that age group when she was little - when we went for the interview it was on the gold coast & they were running late so i watched so many babies/kids come & go - i thought they would just take any of them but i saw alot leave without any forms so i guess they are kind of selective - great news he got in - you will have to let us know how he goes :) i'll let you know if eliana gets anything too

Hi i hope you don't mind me asking but i was wondering how much it cost you to get into bambini. I was interested in putting my little guy in and have seen some that are quite expensive and don't guarentee that you will get anything.
thanks

Hi it's Jaydensmum to answer your question it was $551.50. Yes it's a fair bit of money but it's worth it if they get something out of it. The money that we'll get will go into his future. Yes it's taking a big gamble but so is buying a car or a house you dont know what you get and you cant see what will happen in the future.

Hi its jaydensmum. I hope that if you do place him into an agency everything turns out ok. The only advice I can give you is shop around and do research into it before you sign anything. There are people out there who will happily rip people off so be careful. :)

I hope everything went well. My DS hasn't received any jobs yet but he has been put up for numerous amount of jobs. They seem to be really good. They are always happy to answer any questions that i have and are really supportive. Hopefully soon he'll represent them in some type of modelling. I hope everything went well with you. Hi
I am trying to locate Bambini Models in Sydney. I did a google search and the melbourne site only shows up. If anyone can give me there web address it would be much appreciated.
Also, i got my children to get some photo's taken by Model Kids Australia in Feb 06. They were advertising in the shopping centre...entry is for free but you could buy the portfolio on cd and $600 dollars later i did- oh and once you came back for the appt after the shoot, if you did not buy it then and there, then you couldn't purchase the photo's at a later date...they didnt give me a few hours to even think about it, so it was a spontaneous decision..
Photo's were good but i ended up with 100 photo's on the cd of practically the same thing...2 different outfits with 5 different poses...
The thing is when i wanted to enquire about something, i emailed them (twice) and they did not bother to reply to my email. I find that rude and obviously they were just out there to get your money.... i didnt find it very professional as well..... that was a quick buck for them... has anyone dealth with them?

I'm sorry to be the only negative one here, but I just wanted to mention that i've actually heard bad things about Bambini. I've heard that they put too many kids on their books and don't have enough jobs for them all. Sorry if i'm wrong about this, just wanted to relay what i've heard from others. I went with Bubblegum Casting with my boys when they were younger and they got many jobs throughout the year. We only stopped as they weren't interested in missing school to do it anymore...I know, fancy not wanting to miss out on school, lol. Best of luck!

Hi
I couldn't go past your entry. We enrolled our son last year at Bambini Models & was told the same thing. not many in his age group, should get an interview soon etc etc.....Today i received my renewal notice in the mail. You can imagine my shock when we didn't even get ONE job or interview through them! Now I have 2 boys, one 4 & the youngest 2. The youngest is the one we had put on the books through Bambini, and not to sound cruel, but he is the better looking. Personality & looks. I am outraged with this agency & think they are a bunch of money grabbing scammers. I intend to make it known that they are.....Have you had any luck?

Hi Jaydensmum, Congratulations!
I rang Bambini a couple of weeks ago and asked about my DD who was born on 21/03/07 (ie, 12 weeks today). They said I'd just missed out on a newborn casting for Woolworths and to call back when she turned three months old. I didn't think they took them until they turned three months. I'm confused - did you say Jayden was 4 months though?
Keep the updates coming on his jobs!

This thread is nearly 2 years old.
I noticed that too, but people have been putting up to date things on it. I was with Bambini also and not very happy with them. I had my 2 girls enrolled, and didn't get any castings although we were told they would get heaps of work. My elder girl was with another agency previously and got heaps of work, catalogues, tv commercial, magazines and even catwalk but nothing at all from Bambini. We didn't even get calls for the standard things that were open to everyone like the bonds castings that other agents even had set times for. My youngest is now enrolled with babyfaces and in 1 month had 2 castings, which we haven't heard back from though. From $551.50 per child with Bambinis with not a single call to $80.00 and 2 calls in 1 month, I know who I'll stick with. Good luck everyone. We all think our kids are beautiful and they all are, with the modelling agency we do have to remember that it is the specifics of the caster of what they want not how beautiful we think ours are.
We paid & signed up on the day of selection (with numerous others), all being told how gorgeous our little one's were. Then it's up to you to make contact with them every 3 months or so to update your photo's (they have way too many people on their books to be able to deal with anyone direct).
I would always have to ask them 2 weeks after sending in my recent photo's why they hadn't been uploaded yet.?
Then a year later I had to remind them of my child's "free" photo re-shoot.
Whilst there the second time you only deal with the photographer. No one else is interested in you.
I got to reminisce & see all the new recruits waiting to go in & be told how lovely their little one is etc.
I had the opportunity to talk to some other parents who all had the same thing to say. They paid & then they heard NOTHING.
All I can say is why are they taking on soooo many people, it's all income related to keep them afloat.
If this can just save one struggling family from signing up & handing over good hard earned money then my story has been worth it.
"All children are beautiful" - so how does one pick a single sole out of a crowd of thousands!

:ecomcity::ecomcity::ecomcity::ecomcity::ecomcity: Hi i just wanted to add to Daffy's post about ******* Models. i think this company is simply a money making machine. They are quick to catch the customer in and then when problems arise they take forever to get back to you and or ignor your requests. They accept EVERYONE!!! When we turned up to what we thought would be like a more exclusive interview processs we found there to be easily over 100 children floating around. And its funny to hear how they say the same thing to every child. They basically suck the parents in by telling them how cute and adorable the child is plus saying "what wonderful long eyelashes that they have" which is crap because its said to EVERY child.. The contract once paid cannot be refunded as we have recently found out so a word of warning.. stay clear! i will definatly be using the AT2 casting website for my self the next time and myself and my husband will be the only managers for our little child! Funny how when you check what pricing package you are on with the website it seems to be a $69 package and they charge a wonderful $512 for exactly the same thing. But you see.. they think they "market you/child" what a load of rubbish!!! NEVER AGAIN
hello! my first time on here! just reading the above and wondered if anyone has heard of brent street in Sydney for childrens modelling?
can someone PM me the name of the agency (or type it in here with symbols or space in between letters) as it comes up in asterixs here??? not sure why??? but i am eternally curious as to why the name of this agency comes up censored??

This thread is nearly 2 years old.
well Mel its 5 years old now and people are still bumping it?
hahahaha
how can you bump something when the name is blanked out???
I'm pretty sure they're referring to ******* as there is mention of them in a past post but it hasn't been blanked out.
so i just typed in the name of the company which i believe they are referring to and it automatically blanks it out... lets try it this way... put this in reverse inibmab

Oh right ********** are you talking about *******, I saw ******** and they said ***** I couldn't believe it, so I said ******** and then they said ******* and I said well I'm going to ********** and they said *********
So DON"t go to them, try ********** or ******* or even ******** instead

Not sure if my quote worked????
i n i b m a B was what I was referring to (backwards). Hope this helps a few people out.
