Faint pink line on Discover Test

Hi, does the test pink line come up straight away or 2-5 mins later?

The instructions say to wait 2-5 mins but the test line comes up straight away. The reason I ask is because after about 5 mins I get a faint pink line, but not straight away??????

It also says that a false positive can appear after 10mins - my pink line is between say 4-10mins so what does it mean??????

Sounds like you're pregnant! A line is a line and there are rarely false positives. Congratulations!:)

OOOO sound like a :bfp: to me :smiliedance: i would do another test tomorrow morning and im sure the test will be darker.

thanks I hope you both are right ... it's not so much the strength of the line it's the fact that it doesn't appear straight away like the test line does ..... does this matter

anyone else had experience where pink line comes up later and been :bfp: ????

ps silly me got impatient so I can't test tomorrow as run out of tests :shame:

That's exactly what's happened with each of my BFPs :D The test line never comes up immediately for me, but after a minute or so I can def see it forming.

Sounds like a :bfp: to me! An evap line looks really different.

Hi Moostar! I've had exactly the same issues reading mine!!!

I did one on Thursday night and it came up with a faint line but not immediatelyl, I thought it was a negative at first. Then the line got darker over time so that after 10 minutes it was quite dark, but the test said to ignore any results after 10 minutes.

SO I went and bought two more!!!

I waited til Saturday morning to do them and the first one, I still couldn't tell. The test line on that one was really faint and there was the tiniest hint of a second line, again didn't come up as fast as the test line. So, I did the other one and same story as the first time. It came up a bit earlier, faint but then got darker and darker. I was pretty sure it was within the 10 minutes this time.

Saturday morning was the day before my period is due, assuming this month is a 28 day cycle - occasionally it's longer.

Oh, fingers crossed for you!

Tiger Lily - it is so frustrating isn't it. The last few days have just dragged on ... and on ... just wish the bloody witch would arrive if she is coming and lets get on with it.

Which brand of test have you been using?

AF due today (if 28DC) I am going to wait until Wednesday then test again.

I feel very tired, lightheaded. Don't have sore boobs though (maybe coz Im still b/f?)

I remember thinking that although it said to wait up to 5 minutes if I have a :bfp: it should come up straight away like the control line. Wrong! I got a BFP like that, but then looked back at my tests from the previous 3 days and they were all fainter BFP's! I'd put them in the bin after less than a minute! A faint line is still a line!
