Come on girls, lets get a wiggle on, and make this years turn out even bigger and better than last year!

No excuses this year! ;) Lets show these mainlanders how its done! Believe me, Veve will be insufferable all year if they get the biggest turn out in Brisbane again this year!

What: 2009 Annual Pram Ribbon Morning Tea
Date: Saturday 13 June 2009
Where: TBA (ideas anyone???)
Time: TBA (probably around 10-11am???)
RSVP: No need, you are all coming! *laughing*

It will be so much fun, the kids had a ball last year, we went to Tolosa Street, everyone bought something to share, and meat for a BBQ! The kids chased the balls around by the foreshore and the men played chef! While all us mums got to natter!

Lets get excited! Its a great chance to catch up with everyone, and also for all the kids to come (no school on Saturdays) and for the partners to come along too and meet the other dads.

Book it in your diary now! The MUST ATTEND EVENT OF THE YEAR!

Jes - All ideas welcomed. Do you know anywhere around town that hire out a hall cheap or anywhere undercover that is cheap?

We tossed around Macca's and Fit n Fun last year, but a few members have larger families and it costs to much to go to places like that.

I agree about Tolosa. Its going to be a bit cold! LOL

The Salvation Army in Blackmans Bay hire out thier Play Group hall for $10 an hour.

It is huge with a fully self contained kitchen and also has a fenced playground.

At special request I believe they will even leave out some of the bikes and little cars for the kids.

You can even hire a jumping castle for a bit extra.

I know Blackmans Bay might be a bit far for some people but it might be worth checking to see if any of their other halls offer the same kind of thing.
