Meeting other single mums and dads

Being a single parent, most of us find it hard to relate to non parent and sometimes even coupled parents. I wanna get out there and meet some other single parents, single dads would be nice, as it'd be a good opportunity to see it from the other side. I know there's not many single full-time fathers out there, but yeah (hi, if there's any of Bubhub.=P)
Single young mums, would be nice too, I don't have any mummy friends atm.=P

Anyone else feel like this?

Yep feel the same.
Went out today with just my baby and was thinking to myself it would be nice to do this with another adult.
I don't mean another partner as I'm 3 months pregnant.....:laughing: but another single person to go on outings with.
Felt like a real idiot going out to lunch by myself too.

I know how you feel. I felt that way last year and ended up joining a single parents chat forum that allowed me to meet more single parents in my area (wasnt really many BH ones) and have now made some wonderful friends on there, including a couple of single dads who said that they were feeling just how we have all been but were actually put off by the bigger parenting forums like BH and Huggies as they were mainly female dominated.

Lol, I'm on the Northside, but moving to Redcliffe as soon as I can find a house.
Hope its soon lol as I'm already 3 months pregnant, don't want to leave it any longer.
My mum and 2 sisters already live there with their familys.
