Ingi....Casey eats large peices of toast aswell, with Jacob(1st bub) I was more cautious as he used to choke a bit,but Casey is great with chunky foods, his food is really chunky:thumbsup: im glad as Jake took along time before he would eat chucky solids

BB- Im always so afraid of Riley choking but ive sorta eased up a bit becoz when he has he just throws it up lol which is better than stoppiing breathing coz man id freak! I think i wont be so touchy with my next one becoz ill know what to expect...i hope anyways!

MOS i thought you went to bed?
Hi Magick:wave:Congrats on booking the wedding in wow thats soon! Hope you get the invites all organised. my sister has booked hers in for the 1st of may next year she is so excited! now just has to get through the rest of the year serving in afghanistan.
Ingi i have always just given Quinn some finger food while getting her mashed stuff ready. She went through a phase were i couldn't put a spoon in her mouth but she is half half now which works for us. She has half sandwiches too but with the crust cut off and cut into 6 squares so doesn't end up too big but perfect mouth size for her. Good luck with the business! and sorry about your pain in the behind DH too. Mine still isn't apologising even though i said it was hurtful he is sticking to his guns:hair::banghead: guess i will have to leave him with her for a day or two.
Well i am not doing anything tonight as DP is being a big meany and hanging out in the study so just trying to find things to look at on the comp but pretty bored really. anyone have anything interesting to share?
Great photos mos i am going searching for that chair tomorrow hope our kmart has one. And Sam is such a cutie sleeping on your chest definitely one for the album
MOS...confusing me...
I got on my soapbox on another thread, then G wakes....so i spent 20 minutes in there with my hand on him hoping he will settle back off..but no so brought him out and BF him..then finish off my soapbox post and come back here and youve started a new thread and Im all confused... (doents take much..LOL)
I can't remember now half of what I was going to post. Should take little note in a book when I read...
Someone asked re nuts... Our bubbas are fine to have anything really if there's no history of allergies. The probalem with nuts is choking...so they can have smooth nut butters if you wish.
Re solids and choking. I get less streed about it all once I googles Baby Led weaning and watched a few eg on youtube of wee little ones managing big chinks of food. Ingi, giving finger food first is a good idea and also just treating it as a plaything. Ie letting hims mouthi it and play with it and not worrying about how muc he eats. He will play, figure it out then eventually teach himself how to manage non mushed stuff.
BB I dont think you over feed Casey. He was born big, and has obviously just continued on that line. Gabriel is a bit of a weed, but in proportion so Im not worried. I sometimes worry he doesnt eat enough....but then he makes up for it with the BF:rolleyes: and he has little fat rolls.
Magic 33. That's so exciting re your wedding.
This is what Gabriel gets up to when I'm in the shower... well on that day anyhow..
http://www.facebook.com/reqs.php#/photo.php?pid=2805313&id=586022526
Men men men... hehehehe!! Least I only have myself to get shirty with:p
MOS you inspired me tonight... Ive never cooked a risotto. I read pumpkin and risotto and googled. (even now I read you cooked a mushroom one)It wasnt too bad and was quite easy... just grated pumpkin and chopped leek, sauted then add the rice and keep adding the stock. It was a bit bland so I added some wine and a wee bit of sugar:o...oh and some baby spinach that needed to be used. I tink I then maybe overdid the parmesan....but Gabe loved it. Was probably a bit salty all that stock..but he only ate about 1/2 cup.
I'm trying to get back into the habbit of cooking things other then grilled meat and vegies. I used to cook a lot years ago, but got out of the habbit. I'm hopeless at casseroles and slow cooker stuff. Alway as turns out bland and I end up tossing it.
Gee I'm waffling now... and havent expressed (need to everynight to get supply for return to work)... best get to it and go to bed ... where does the evening go.. Am going to be grumpy tomorrow again

Good morning everyone. I've only just registered with the forums here at Bub Hub and was delighted to find this thread. I am a first time mum with a beautiful, incredible baby girl Sarah, who was born on 19/6/08, and it's wonderful to know that there is a huge amount of experience and wisdom (and humour) out there to be called upon when needed.
I hope you don't mind the odd 'stupid' question, because I'm very new to this (despite my age :p) and maybe a little paranoid/anxious about some things.
Thanks in advance and look forward to talking to you.
Hiya MygirlSarah
Welcome to the June 08 thread. You are very welcome to join in on the :ecomcity::ecomcity: and don't worry no question is stupid, but some of our answers might be.. Be warned, nothing is sacred here. (Refer back to last few days discussion on farting!!,Mummies NOT bubbas!)
Just be warned they all talk a LOT and if you miss a day you can be faced with hours of reading:p.. espescially MOS and K8y.Though K8Y is now being studious and I think Supermomof3 is overtaking her. Mind you Ems, Babywez and MybabyQ aren't far behind.
Tiggles and myself are the older and more mature ones (hehummm). we never hog the thread or waffle on :no:
well Tiggles doesn't...

:laughing::laughing::laughing:
 MGS! We are very lucky to have C38 - she is our resident nurse, and most of the time she only waffles on b/c we've asked her a question and she gives us so much good info!
It doesnt' matter what age you are, all of us who are first timers are new to this and just as paranoid and anxious about things. Just comes with the territory. But having this group of mums around is a big help! ... if you can keep up :D
Nick slept 8-4:30 last night then went back to sleep until 6:15. Stupid me, getting my ears pierced yesterday, didn't THINK about how it would affect my sleeping. I sleep on my side but had to sleep on my back last night, as every time I got on my side the back of the earring dug in my neck! And these have to stay in 6 weeks! Oh my.
MOS -I love those photos! The one in the bath is just adorable & I can't believe how grown up he looks sitting on his chair. So cute :goodvibes:
Magic -Good luck with the wedding preps. How exciting!
Can't remember anything else as I read the other thread last night.

Congrats on Sarah, and as others have said, def no question is stupid. Feel free to ask away.
Where about's are you from?

 C38...In my defence, I only blah so much because I'll feel rude if I miss commenting on other's news *coughcough*...my excuse, and I'm sticking to it :D Well, my chatter will be down this weekend due to the outlaws being up. Went horribly when they arrived... Khirra screamed in their arms for the first few hours...had only had a hour sleep all day and was woken with a fright with the dog's barking. But they were pretty good about it... hopefully she's a bit more socialable today.
She still has the runny poos and pains before hand..writhing around, whinging a while before then crying right before. So see if I can get into the docs today, I guess. Go to the chemist and get one of those specimen jars... then wave it in front of DP's face and see if he :barf: ... bit evil, aren't I? :devil6:
Big welcome to MygirlSarah... best of luck keeping up!
And Majick - yay for the wedding being booked in... that's the day of Khirra's birthday party, so I'll raise a glass to you!
Okay, sorry no more personals, Khirra's heading for the stairs on the deck... has recently realised they're there and mastered them. It's just great. lol Plus still have to find the end of the last thread...
Have a great weekend ladies.

Good Morning:flowerz:
Welcome:wave: mygirlSarah
C38~Great photo...hehehehehe
ems84~let us know how you go at the docs :hugs:
Casey has dont two poo's(mushy) one after another this morning...
Magic~:)Not long now how exciting!
Babywez....how is everything on the home front at the moment ((hugs))
Oh dear Ems! Thinking of you with the outlaws and I hope Kiss is ok. Let us know how it goes!
Lambkin, what ever happened to the money you sent back to your outlaws??? Did I miss a follow up to that story?
Well things on the home front are ok. Going to contact Relationships Australia on Monday and try to make an appointment or find someone to go to. I'm ok if I don't think about it, but as soon as the words come back in my head, or something comes on TV about infidelity (we watched "Sideways" last night, has anyone seen that?? It didn't help!) I get angry again. But for Nick's sake I'm just trying to move past it and save it for counselling. If I have a thought or a feeling I mention it, but there's not much dh can say or respond with really. One things certain, if he felt "frustrated" before, then he'll certainly feel it now! They really are like dogs, aren't they? Can't reward bad behavious or they'll think its ok! Then again, not having sex is how we got ourselves in this mess to start with, apparently. :(
aww babywez:hugs: glad you are going to do something about it.... but seriously guys just do not get how intimate sex is for us girls.. it is not just a biological need!!
welcome MGS- love how your name has been shortened already- you are part of the gang.
MOS- haven't looked at photos yet but will do soon.
majick- congrats on setting the date will see you on FB too soon.
ems- GL with the weekend.
well I feel lazy this morning, Pip has only just gone down for a morning nap thanks to a poo...don't you hate it when it takes awhile to figure out?? going to have a shower now so will BBL
MBS -Very funny how you've already got a nickname... and C38 - Thank you for the quick rundown... I must say I'm better with being labelled a chatterbox rather than "one of the oldies" - let's hope Tiggles is in a good mood when she reads THAT one!
MBS - Where abouts are you?
And when are we having another Sydney meet? You guys haven't been meeting without telling me about it, have you?! :D I think we should do another in the next month or so - that way I can catch up with you guys before we start moving and get busy for a few weeks.
Well I took Sam for a walk this morning and once he fell asleep I sat in a park under a big tree and chatted on the phone to my mum for a while. (The FIL was mowing the lawns so I couldn't get Sam to sleep) She told my brother she's happy to have him but she will be staying in Brissy and he went off in a big tantrum saying he wanted to move to Tazzie. Mum told him they'd have heaps of land (so many acres..) and he immediately started talking about how he can have a motorbike. Makes me SO ANGRY. :hair: He hates Brissy because there's nothing to do so how does he think he'll like being in the middle of nowhere in Tazzie? Duh. Anyway I no longer think bad things of my mum because it sounds like she's so excited to be getting away - they're going to do up this house on a massive property and just live the quiet life for a year or so and at the end of it they can either sell it or stay. Mum is trying to make my brother happy but she just can't take him to live in Tazzie and it's obvious he's into it for the wrong reasons.
Well off to check out the end of the last thread if there is one. BBL.
Welcome mygirlsarah  (and MOS it's MGS :shame: don't be rude to our new friend or you'll scare her away).
InGi and MOS and BB and babywez, listening to you vent gets me all mad again and worked up about my DP grrrrrrr
An hour ago, I was enjoying a quiet read while DP gave Sums her bottle (after I'd been looking after her all day while doing the housework btw) and said, aren't you going to do your uni work?, well yeah, in a bit I said. Are you going to do your work? what work he said, well your asking me about mine (I hate getting harrassed to do my uni work - will do it in my own good time thank you very much). Well it's just you said you were going to do uni work today he said. So, well my mates (for their sake I'll say B1 and B2) asked me to catch with them for a drink tonight, so if you want to do your uni work, you'd better do it now! :hair: Oooooh after hearing that I was steaming.
3 weeks ago (or 2? it's all a blur), he went out. Rang me that night at 10pm, said he was just having a couple more drinks would be home soon, didn't get home until 6.30am, no phone calls to say he'd be late. He does this all the time the selfish pr!ck.
THEN the next day, usually our Sunday to do stuff together, he's a write off from being hungover, while then I spend another day on Sunday, looking after her, doing all the housework, while HE lazes about 'recovering' after having a fabulous night out with his mates while I spend the evening alone looking after Summer and getting no uni work done so that he can 'socialise' selfish selfish 'DH'. So now, we're going to Ikea tomorrow and appliance shopping, but he's going to ruin it by being hungover and I'll have to spend all day looking after Sums like I usually do and doing everything else :banghead:
ems hope your enjoying your weekend
Re the finger food, Sums sticks anything that she touches in her mouth, so if it's food it goes in there regardless of hungry or not lol. DP came home with Macca's this morning (for himself as I am WW of course ) and she enjoyed some hotcakes, ate some, bashed the rest around a bit, bless her, it's cute.
MOS your chair is gorgeous! I've seen the leather ones around, not as cosy looking as the courdury (sp?) ones though.
So I've been sitting in my room since storming off from DP. I've finished my book and am now on here, so I suppose I best get some uni work done now right so that DP can go enjoy himself, the selfish twat......

MAKE HIM SUFFER TOMORROW
MOS....how old is your bro?
Tasmania is great....why here?
He's almost 13. And not sure re why Tas.... Mum's BF has been looking at property all over the place. He wanted lots of land and some water on the property (he has a lake in Tas)... I think he just wants some peace and quiet TBH.
Sorry MGS... not sure why I kept getting it wrong - maybe "BS" is on the mind!
The MIL is still in bed. The house is clean... DH still at work... BOR... ING. :(
Welcome MGS! Where are you from??
K8Y - grrrrrrrrrrrr man that is seriously annoying. I think u should sit down as calm as possible and say look you need to HELP ME. A couple of months ago, i was having a full on day etc and hubby came home, made a snack for himself and went and watched a movie. WHAT THE HELL! I went off my rocker at him and needless to say he has never done that again. And fair enough he can hang out with his mates, but it shoudnt compromise your family time. Give it to him!!
Im thinking of painting the toy room but dont know what. Thinking maybe all bright and colourful, then i thought maybe beige neutral with bright coloured rainbow and noahs ark thingo. Hmmmm any ideas??
Be back later to chat more xx
:geek: Why was nothing in MY Coles reduced? I looked but NOTHING! :crying:
InGi - What's your home business?
MOS - they price wasnt reduced that i could see i was just going to bbuy it anyway and then when i got to the register i found it it was reduced. Apparently all the toys on that rack were reduced. It was in the section at the end of the isles where they had easter eggs n all that kinda promotional stuff.
Ive just started as a Herbalife distributer. Dont need to lose weight myself but was trying to put a couple of kgs on so was having shakes as well as BIG meals a day, and DH was getting pudgy so i made him diet on them 2 shakes a day and a colourful meal at night and he lost 8 or 10 kgs in 2 weeks! SO i figured well it works so ill try selling it and earn some xtra cash at the same time plus when your a distributor you get 25% discount so works out better for us anyways  Sorry for the big spiel but im a little excited hehe.
sorry about your pain in the behind DH too. Mine still isn't apologising even though i said it was hurtful he is sticking to his guns:hair::banghead: guess i will have to leave him with her for a day or two.
Thanks MBQ, I hope yours pulls his finger out soon and apologises. Mine doesnt apologise very often either whenever we fight its always somehow my fault! Yes i think we should all just leave the bubs with the "dh's" for a week full time and we will all sit on our butts in front of the tele. The problem then would be we would still get up no doubt and help or bath the kids or dress them.

LOL ems that poo part in front of dps face made me chuckle. I forgot to answer before with the poos when Riley was getting his eye teeth he was doing 8-9 of the runniest poos everyday for about a week and a half. I just made sure he had plenty of fluids and also took him to the doc which he said was quitre normal and if it kept up for more than 3 more days to do a poo specimen. But it stopped pretty much straight away after that appointment it was like Riley understood what would happen and didnt want his poos jarred up lol. Hopefully it stops for Khirra really really soon its not nice.
Babywez - hopefully youll find a counsellor that can really help your relationship and you start feeling happier again soon
InGi and MOS and BB and babywez, listening to you vent gets me all mad again and worked up about my DP grrrrrrr

wow K8y sorry didnt mean to set you off! You sound P!$$ED!!! How frustrating i would be fuming too. You should definately get Summer a MASSIVE drum kit and a recorder to play on DH's hangover days!!!
BB - Have a great time at your bodyshop parties!!!
YAY for Casey sleeping so well!!!!
Well i just finished my 5th batch of Anzac biscuits for the day lol im so addicted to them! I made a batch the other day and DH ate them all within 2 days so thought id better make a LOT more and take some to mums and dads tonight to nibble on after tea. Im so excited mums taking Riley for the night to give me a break altho the last 2 nights he has been ok. Still havnt really started the sleep sense thing yet just trying to get him to sleep without the bottle and dummy at the moment.
Well better go back his bags for the night!!!
Yummo anzac biccies.
InGi - you're fabulous, a recorder is a brilliant idea. I will keep my eye out for one next time am out shopping :devil6:
Well after all that, DP went and took Summer out to get a few items from the IGA (nothing much else open and we have no food ) so that I would have something to eat and some time for myself this afternoon. They always do something good to balance out the bad just in time don't they? *sigh* Then he got home not long ago, gave her her bottle again and put her to bed.
I am not mad anymore InGi so don't be concerned you set me off lol.
I got it out of my system. While he was gone, I did a big 30min run on treadie, then a fast uphill climb for 15min, then situps on the fitball, squats against the fitball on the wall (one legged ones ouch!), then I used DP's weight sets and did pull downs and weight stuff that works your arms (backs of the arms), shoulders and back. I am going to be SORE tomorrow. I am doing all this in secret so that one night (when I'm pretty it's THE night IYKWIM I can do a big unveil with my new body). Easy to do as am always in trackies or just jeans plus 'cuddles' is always at night in the dark, so he won't see much I'll make sure of it. Then 'ta da' and he can ooooh and aaaah at how trim and buff I am. Well thats the idea anyway  I can already start to see a little bit of definition
Phew wee BB sounds a big night for you! We are still waiting for more teeth to appear too. Soon!
Best go finish my uni work now while little monster mash is snoozing.
Holy crap K8Y! Can you send some of that motivation my way please? Some energy wouldn't go astray either.
Well I'm in bed feeling like poop. Its all in my head. I had my darn flu shot, too, and bloody lot of good that did me!
I'm unsure how much of my mood right now is head-cold-related and how much is "dh"-related. We were at tennis this arvo and neither of us said a word on the way home. I am still very angry, but I feel like he's already forgotten it and thinks everything is back to "normal". I'm also suspicious whenever he is on his computer. That is no way to live  I hope we can find someone to make an appointment with this week. But really, even the thought of that pi$$es me off...because I will be the one who will have to call and make arrangements. I'm just going to stop talking about it for now, b/c I get too mad again.
Nicklas fell asleep on the way home, which I knew would happen, so now he's sleeping's going ot be all thrown off. Oh well, if I'm in bed sick, daddy will have to take care of him when he wakes up.
Men. Seriously, its a wonder there's not a crap load of more lesbians out there.
babywez my physical biorhythm is at it's peak so I know the best times to get a good work out. Does anyone else follow their biorhythm? I find it really helpful
Stupid MEN. They're the ones that f**k it all up, then expect the woman to put all the work into picking up the pieces :banghead:
Hope you feel better tomorrow :hugs:
Thanks K8Y, I hope I feel better tomorrow, too.
Well as predicted, Nick woke up. And I went to him, just as TH (my new abbreviation, stands for "The Husband") was coming up the stairs. He's got him now, downstairs feeding him. He says, "Should we feed him?" Uhhh yes. Its not good to starve them. I'm surprised he didn't come back up and say, "What should I give him?" my answer would most likely have been "BABY FOOD! Give him BABY FOOD!" :hair:
I'll get a couple of hours to myself tomorrow b/c our swimming lessons are tomorrow since they had to be cancelled today. That might be nice.
Ok, I think I need to put the laptop down now, my arms/fingers are aching :( I can't BELIEVE I'm getting sick. I want a refund on my flu shot!!
babywez my physical biorhythm is at it's peak so I know the best times to get a good work out. Does anyone else follow their biorhythm? I find it really helpful
Your WHAT?! :dizzy: Please explain...
Well DH got home late so no chance of me getting out so DH went to get some lebanese meat pizza for dinner -YUMMO! Now DH is in the shower and Sam's drifting off on my lap... well hopefully.
We're going to the local pub / beer garden tomorrow for lunch with a bunch of friends. A friend of ours is down visiting from Brissy so we're all catching up. I love catching up with friends but we don't seem to see them much anymore...
Speaking of poos, the SIL changed Sam's nappy this morning and said "He's eaten a mushroom!" and there it was - a perfect slice of mushroom in all it's entirety - from last night's mushroom risotto at dinner.
k8y, you're a FREAK doing all that excercise! But good on you for having such great motivation. And how great will it be to see your DP's face when you get to have your "great un-veilling"! Woo-woooo k8y! :D
babywez, I hope you get better soon - or even better, I hope you manage to pass that flu onto your "DH" without getting too close! :p
babywez :hugs: for getting sick, it is yucky Pip and I are still getting over ours.
well my DH is in the poos now too...even tho he is away...he has not called today and is at work until 10 tonight. not impressed, admittedly I did not call him, but hey...he is the one that has to go to work, where I am at home....I know it is not that bad but I have not spoken to an adult all day today, my BF is coming over tomorrow she is going to cop:ecomcity::ecomcity:
Sydneyites- we do need to meet up. I will actually be down next Friday if anyone is keen??? DH's parents will be away so will go done whilst he is working. hopefully at least a couple of you are free. I don't mind where we meet up.
k8y well done with the exercise, I was lazy this morning so didn't do my walk.
bonbon I like the neutral and then a feature idea myself...very jealous of a playroom tho...we have a play area in theopen plan room, there is a small wall behind the fireplace and Pip's playpen is there so you don't see it when you walk in...but it is a mess, problem is I am running out of storage already!
MOS- the photo is veryu cute and I love the chair, definitely did not see that in kmart.
meant to be at a mum's groups 30th but I would have to take Pip and just could not be bothered with the whole thing. feel a bit bad, but her birthday is tues which is mums group so will still get to say happy birthday, kind of turns you off when it starts when your bub goes to bed.
well am :ecomcity: cause I have no one to talk to...
oh c38- question for you- should I be worried that Pip is yet to say any sounds that involve her tongue like da or na...she does ga, ma and ba etc but hasn't seemed to progress from that...I know they don't say words yet, but not sure whether I should get her checked out...her hearing is fine??? TIA
I have a Dr's appointment at 11 but I will call tomorrow and make it earlier. Let's DEFINITELY do a meet!

I thought you were taking the p!ss with that comment, but I believe you're serious :laughing: What the bejeebies is your physical biorthym??
Okay. I know I wasn't going to chat much this weekend, but the inlaws have gone back to their unit (not staying here; too long a story) BUT you know how my MIL have been telling me for months that her DD1 walked at 7 months and DP walked at 10months? Well they didn't! Turns out DD1 was walking holding on to hands then, but didn't walk til 11months. DP didn't actually walk unaided until his 1st birthday? What the? Whyyy would she even say that if it wasn't true? Anyway
Just had to share that. lol. Will catch up on personals soon!
Ems, some people are just DUMB and say DUMB things!
For some reason Sam thinks the word "No" is the funniest thing EVER. I say "no" and he cackles like he never has before. :hair:
Watching Independance Day. Chat tomoz!
biorhythms, look it up on wiki, most think its just nonsense like star signs, but I find mine is quite accurate, so there :p I'm sure everyone reads their star sign don't they? :D
I wish all men were like Edward, except for the vampire part (need a drool emoticon).
:iagree: k8y. For someone who's REALLY not THAT good looking, he sure is drool-worthy...
I Googled that biorhythm stuff and all 3 of my line-thingies are right at the bottom TODAY - may explain the cr@ppy day I had...
K8y - WOW your motivated!! I went to the gym today at mums place and it nearly killed me!! I only did bout 20 mins of hopping from one machine to the next lol finally dh made me so some sit ups lol
Babywez - You poor thing hope you feel better soon!
Well just got home from Mum and Dads left Riley there for the night he was sound asleep when we left but had absolute hell putting him to sleep! Hopefully hes not to bad for mum but im so looking forward to a full nights sleep and a sleep in!! :D So im off to bed!
Night all sleep well
K8y - biorhythms? ahah i thought you were joking too. I wish i was half as motivated as you! And what is with the big unveil??
Oconky -i am the same as you, the thought of going out at nite when bubs is due for bed is not fun, as I know i am just buying time before she loses the plot and has a meltdown!
Babywez hope you feel better soon, use DH pillow and sneeze all your germs on it. On second thoughts dont, cos when men are sick they are DYING!!
SO wished I lived in Sydney so could meet up.Boring old Perth!!
Been just chilling today, was nice. Maddie has been waving bye for a while now and the last few days when she waves, she says bye bye bye! But she doesnt just say it , she YELLS it. So funny.
Ems84- i think ppl esp mils like to say things like that to make them look good and you look like a slow learner! Who cares anyway, all bubs are different
Oh and Ingi, so jealous! A full nites sleep AND a sleep in!!! You will prob be sooo tired tomorrow from oversleeping! Enjoy
Morning! Have sent TH off to the store to get the groceries while Nick is sleeping. And then when he gets back he is taking him to his swimming lesson. I've already cleaned the house this am, so I get to just relax. Well, that's not entirely true, I have to clean the bathroom, but that will only take 10-15 minutes.
I have been reading the realtionships australia website and am calling them first thing in the am. I am so angry today, and I don't know how long this is going to last. We've barely spoken 5 words to each other in 24 hours. After I posted on here last night, I closed my laptop and fell asleep, where I stayed until 11 when Nick woke up. Boobed him, gave him to TH who put him back to sleep, and he didn't wake until 5:15, when TH brought him into bed w/ us and I ended up having to get up with him b/c he was wide awake and TH wasn't showing any sign of budging. So that made me more mad, and I made sure I made a LOT of noise cleaning Nick's room and the spare bathroom. :D
I can't wait to go and talk to someone, the silence is killing me. But I don't know what to say. And I don't know how to stop being so angry.
Gah, enough of that! MOS I want one of those chairs for Nicklas! Might go check out KMart this arvo.
K8Y - what time did DP make it in last night? A friend of mine from HS just posted on FB that her DH got home at 6 am this morning!!! They have 3 boys under 6 yo
Babywez, you dont want to walk out of the first session wishing you'd said something. Make a list. It might help to write down how you FEEL about certain things. It's much easier to understand things like "You make me feel unattractive when you..." or "I feel unappreciated when you..."
I don't envy you at all. You're not in the best situation but add a baby into the works... it must be hard. :hugs:
 Why is it that it's inconvenient for OTHERS if our phones don't work?! DH's phone has had trouble charging so I think our charger (one between the two of us as I think one's in storage) is stuffed... but also my phone randomly turns itself off... so mine isn't being too reliable lately either.
So annoying because we got back from lunch today after not even taking them with us, to a few messages and "why can't I ever get hold of you?" questions. :hair:
Quiet day on the internet today! Everyone must have been outside enjoying the lovely weather!
MOS you don't have "3" do you? My old one randomly turned itself off, too. So annoying! Can't wait to get a new one in a few months. Think I'm going to get the Nokia E71, its like a blackberry, but nokia and much cheaper. Just what I need, BH and FB with me EVERYWHERE I GO.
TH and I had a bit of a chat tonight. I had already started my list of things I felt, MOS, then I read your post! So I laid it all out there. Still going to the counsellor, but I think I've said everything I want/need to. He says all the things you'd expect him to, "It didn't mean anything" "I can't imagine life without you two", "It was just a really big dumb mistake" :ecomcity::ecomcity::ecomcity: What do you do?
If we were to get divorced, I don't know what would happen, b/c his visa is based on our marriage, and I don't have a green card for the states anymore. But trying not to think that far ahead, or down that track right now. Not without a fight and not without trying everything we can to fix it, first.
We took Nick to swimming today. He is so funny, he just LOVES it. The instructor said, "If there was an award for biggest smile, you'd definitely win it Nicklas!" :D
Ok dinner time.
Hope everyone has had a great weekend!
Oh and Ingi, so jealous! A full nites sleep AND a sleep in!!! You will prob be sooo tired tomorrow from oversleeping! Enjoy
Hehe you were right I feel so tired today lol damn sleep ins although i still woke up a couple of times last night and realised I didnt have to get up to Riley hehe.
 Why is it that it's inconvenient for OTHERS if our phones don't work?! I agree mos some people must think we dont have lives and heaven forbid we go out and cant get to the phone or dont bring the phone!
Quiet day on the internet today! Everyone must have been outside enjoying the lovely weather!

Weathers not so lovely here today babywez its FREEEEEZING and rainy. I was supposed to watch dh play soccer but there was no way! lol
Its great you already got to chat with your husband and he at least sort of admits he was wrong it might make it a bit easier to talk when the counsellors there now.
Well im bored, Rileys asleep in bed and we had party pies and sausage rolls for dinner which werent very fulfilling now im feeling like eating 20kgs of fruit and veg lol.
Hey does anyone in here live in Melbourne around the south eastern suburbs??? I thought if there were someone at least we could have a meet one day? If not well ill just have no friends here lol.
it is a quiet day today...nice and sunny here but very windy so not good to be outside. had my bestie over for the day so we just ate  and played with Pip nice and relaxing.
she was dancing with us and started a bit of a pimp dancing move as we called it sort of ducking her head and moving it from side to side soo funny, but couldn't catch on film!
nothing much else doing.
good to talk babywez, i guess the catch is how do you trust him not to do it again and I guess that is what the counselling is for. GL tomorrow hope it is an easy experience for you to get the appt..last thing you need is hassles in that area
babywez, I'm glad you got to say what you needed to get out. As oconky said, there's a lot to do with trust from here on in... "TH" needs to keep in mind how he's made you feel and make you as comfortable as possible with whatever he's doing until he earns your trust back no matter how long it takes. :hugs:
Try not to consider divorce right now though. Concentrate on trying to make things work. As long as he's also willing to make a good effort, then you're part of the way there already.
Did anyone watch the thing on Botox on TV tonight - ACA or TT or a similar show. Can't believe women would paralise their faces to try and look good. They looked hiddeous IMO.
And yes, I am with 3 babywez - I have a pink Sony flip phone. Everyone I know has had the same problems.. Is yours the same???
No my phone was a red slide phone. Maybe its just the network? I haven't noticed it as much with TH's old phone.
Trust, well, that is the big question isn't it? How long will it take for me to trust him again? Or for me to get "over" this? Its hard when you get angry every time you think about it.
I watched that botox thing. I think its disgusting that women spend THOUSANDS to have that done, and it only lasts a couple of months b4 they have to go back! That 20 year old, or 21 year old who thinks she looks old? I hope that stuff totally ruins her face and in 5 years she looks 40  As for the GUY who was doing it...how DISGUSTING did he look???? UGH! The story after it about the police officer in Perth who was assaulted and then the guy who did it got off??? That is also disgusting. WTF is wrong with people? Cops scare me, even if I know I'm not doing anything wrong! Guilty conscience maybe :D
Just took some medicine - can hardly breathe through my nose, but at least my body doesn't ache anymore. Will probably knock me out soon, so goodnight!
MOS yes, I think it must be his eyes or something. It's the story though, that makes you see him the way he is written though.
bonbon the big unveil. Mostly a motivation tool, am getting into toning up so I can surprise DP with how excellent I look. Just want to feel good about myself and want to feel desirable as of late I just feel like a used up old dishrag. My hair is the blahest colour, I wear trackies, I go the shops and I feel like I fade into the background. I need to feel good about myself again.
babywez I would hope the counsellor will guide you through the session, but am glad you wrote things down :hugs:
He got in at 3am, so not his worst effort lol....
He got in bed (peeling off his clothes left a trail from the front door to the bedroom as usual), saying I missed you baby, love you and was trying to cuddle me. I just kept kicking and shoving him off, saying 'get off me - you stink with your alcohol breath' lol. So romantic
oconky was that you worried that Pip only says a couple of sounds? Sums is always just 'dada dada daddy dad dad dad' mum mum mum I say to her and she looks at me and goes, dad. Hmmpf....
Not much happened today. Did a food shop, got a couple of tops from Just Jeans (just the 2 for $40 ones nothing exciting). Going to Ikea tomorrow (DP having day off he decided today) as he got called to do some work this afternoon.
Which reminds me about you babywez, I completely forgot until I just typed that. I am so sorry :o you can give me a kick up the bum as I have now forgotten where we left things.....
babywez, I had tears in my eyes watching that thing about the policeman who got bashed. How awful. I think if it were me I'd want to "get even"! :D
And DH said he'd love to see what THAT 21 yr old woman looks like in 20 years. I too was secretly hoping she suddenly ages 10 years in a "freak accident" treatment!
Yes and how could you let someone who LOOKED LIKE A MONKEY do work on your face?!
Want to know the funny thing? The Dr they had online at the end of the show is a Dr I've seen at my medical centre! I recall seeing the cert's re plastic surgery on his wall. My SIL went to uni with him.
Ooh booby killing... wonder why...
I'm going to make my Dr's appointment next Friday earlier in case of a meet. Either way I think I'd rather get it over with early in the day so I can still do something. So who's in?
Have just been chatting with my sister on FB and she said the kindy her DS goes to (he's 2 wks older than Sam) told her to take him to an ear specialist because he's too hard to look after. She's logged off before I could get more info out of her. I hope he's OK... I wonder what could be the problem. I know he had an ear infection for a long time. Not sure if you remember but she told sooo many Dr's at GP's and hospitals that he must have had an ear infection but they all said he was fine. She took him to a paed after WEEKS and he finally found it but said it's very bad as it's been un-diagnosed for too long.
I hope it's nothing... then again I know bad ear infections can cause hearing problems but I also recall the paed saying he MAY have to have grommets. Which makes me think that maybe he just needs the grommets put in and he'll be able to hear better again... I dunno. Guess I shouldn't jump the gun. Could be nothing.
She's organised her DS's birthday party and I'm sad I don't get to go because they're so far away...
Well off to bed now. Goodnight all.
Just took some medicine - can hardly breathe through my nose, but at least my body doesn't ache anymore. Will probably knock me out soon, so goodnight!
Hey babywez just thought id suggest vicks sinex nasal spray always works a treat to unblock my nose at night when i got the flu - u prolly already got it but just in case :)
mos your poor little nephew hope hes ok.
Well just thought id check in i dont want to fall behind again but seeings as its so quiet on here i might head to bed and do some reading.
Night all
Hiya:ecomcity:ers
Had a blah night here lastnight. A muscle in my neck went onto spasm when I lay down in bed.. getting upto get a hot back and Nurofen woke the little monkey. Ended up having to Bf him, whihc made the spasm worse... Im Oh-ing an Ah-ing so of coures he wouldnt settle. Finally got him back to bed..to have him wake 5 mins later. Meanwhile I'm out here on the couch with my hot pack...thought I'll leave him and see what happens.. and hour later later hes still carrying on.(was more sooking then crying). Took him into my bed and fed him, but he was crawling around in his sleep and I was tossing and turning. Basically We were both awake from 1-5am..when I got crabby and put him back in bed and turned on his musical thingy...and of course he went straight off. Lukily he slept until 845.
Mum had him this arvo so I could go lunching with the girls. I was crabby due to lack of sleep and my neck.. but nothing a couple of glasses of vino didnt fix;). Had the yummiest woodfired salt and peper prawn pizza. The wine went straight to my head, so when the girls headed off home I ended up wandering around the shops for another 1 3/4hrs . Ended up buying G a raincoat...(size2) from Kathmandu. for next winter, and a tamborine from Socretes (might regret that one me thinks:D) Also brought 3 books in my favorite book shop. One of them "Buddhism for mothers" I've been meaning to buy for awhile. Ive got the second in the series and its great. Hmm so my afternoon turned out quite expensive. Oh also brought some yummy dark choc coverd honeycomb... which is ALL gone now:rolleyes:
G had the best time at granmas , but was very happy to see me came crawl running over...which was nice.. Ive noticed and Mum reported that hes spending lots of time standing up and clapping (ie not hanging onto anything...)
Hes zzzzz now...am hoping its one of his freak sleep through nights
Going to ring Oesto first thing
Hmm enough blahhhh... that was my day anyhow...
Babywez:hugs:Be kind to yourself and give yourself a break. It's only a few days since you were incredibly hurt. It will take time to work through your anger etc Plus you're sick, which magnifies everything as well. The positive thing is that he is saying (from your accounts) the right things..ie "that he can't imagine life without the two of you". If you both want to be together, you can work it out. You might even find that working through this brings a whole new level to your relationship, and it will be stronger and better then ever
Okonky re the speach thing. To be honest I'm not a huge expert on speech (as opposed to everything else:raspberry:), but I'm pretty sure as long as they are making some definate sounds and trying to imitate, and appear at times to comprehend..even on a simple level... then it's all good. Gabriel was saying mmmmummum, nnnnan nananan.. but his week its been mostly ba ba ba baaaaaaa. He has said Da da dada too..but havent heard it for awhile.
Found this
http://www.nidcd.nih.gov/health/voice/speechandlanguage.asp
Has some check lists...
LOL...one of the qu is: "understands the meaning of the word NO" He's like Sam MOS...he thinks it's laughable. OR means hold on to banned object/thing in mouth etc tighter and crawl away as fast as you can to other side of house, giggling!!!
Congrats on the sleep Ingi. My Mum suggested the otherday that for Mothers Day they take him fo the night so I get sleep. I'm nervy that they wont hear him..but on the otherhand Im thinking..hmmm wont KILL HIM
BB: How did your Bodyshop Partys go?? When I go back to work I'll sus people out about one... as nowthe cold weather is here..I realise how much I love their body butter. I need some new bits and pieces of make-up too. Do they have a mineral foundation. Would be good to try one out??
re phones . I WANT an iphone. I have avoided the ipod thing up until now. But my friends got one recently..and I love playing with it. Ive still got another years on my contract though...so hopefully when that's up they will be heaps cheaper. I must admit Im slacko with my mobile (inless Im away from G) only check it a couple of times a day and often its buried in my bag and I dont hear it. I find it weird how no one wants your landline anymore. I refuse to give out my mobile number unless its for something where i think I need to be contactable imediately... if its for a raffle or a store reward system or something then they can leave a message on my home answering machine.
Anyhow am off to bed I think......to read my books.
Just saw Gretel Kiliene on ROVE (stupid show) I'm not a big fan, but I love her new hair cut. Hmm am wondering if it will suit me. I'm feeling a frump and my hairs such a nothing cut. Though until I lose weight I will probably hate anything layered around my boofface anyhow:rolleyes:
from tomorrow am going to get back into being more careful with eating. I want to lose my pregnancy weight plus the extra I was already carrying before I turn 40:eek:.
Hi Guys
Just popping on quickly to say I'd really like to come to the meet. I'm avaliable pretty much anytime. So count Jack and I in
About to go and have a bath and go to bed.
BBL :D
Just a quick one. Thanks for the support and encouragement. The problem is we went through something similar 6 months before we got married, and it DID make our relationship stronger. Or so I thought. 3.5 years later we're back to square 1. Thus the counselling.
I was sitting here catching up, and out of the corner of my eye, I see Nick grab hold of his little hippo (that we bought him to walk behind, and he has never used it) and he stood up and walked about 5 or 6 steps behind it! Then TH and I were clapping and paying attention so he stopped and sat down and won't do it again!
He doesn't clap yet, but he Hi 5's, and he will grab both my hands in one each of his, and make my hands clap, if that makes sense.
He also doesn't say mumum or dadad, but it does sound like he's beginning to say bubub. Something I read online said one of the warning signs is if they're not saying simple things like "mumum" by 12 months to see a health professional. So we've got a couple more months yet.
K8Y - its funny you mention the sparky thing. I got a call Friday, guy says "Hi, its Bob the electrician" I'm like "oohhhhkay" he goes "Your dad gave me your number" OHHHHH. I hadn't given it much thought lately, but dad must have seen him and remembered that I'd mentioned we were looking for an electrician. Anyway, he's coming out here today to take a look at what we want done to see if he can do it and how much it might cost.
Update: He just used the walker to go up and down the living/dining room about 4 times!!
Morning all,
I'm so sad I can't make it this Friday  Hope you girls have a great time & we def have to organise another one.
My DD is so sick. She woke up screaming & crying at 2am, saying she had a sore throat & headache & she was sooo hot. She's still sort of moaning & crying in her sleep :(
Chais took 6 steps last night :smiliedance: He's been walking between DP & I for a few days, just taking a couple of steps, but last night he was standing up leaning back on the lounge, and the next thing he just starts walking! I think he freaked himself out a bit & the fact that we were are clapping & being loud probably didn't help
Yay for Nicklas walking :yelclap: Hope the counselling helps :hugs:
I'm the opposite with my phone. It's on 24/7 and always in my pocket. I feel lost if I don't have it.
Ingi -Yay for the sleep in!
c38 -Having a night to sleep sounds like a wonderful present. I'm starting to wonder how I'm going to survive going back to being awake all night with a newborn.
Oconky -Chais makes quite a few sounds, but doesn't really say much if that makes any sense. He has said mum, dad, bub & nan, but now just mostly squeals and babbles, without saying any words. I think as long as she's making some sort of noise, I wouldn't worry yet.
All too soon they'll be cheeky toddlers telling us no!
MOS -Hope your nephew is OK.
Do any of you (especially those with boys) put soft soled shoes on them? I want to get some for Chais, but am struggling to find anything cute that fits him. He's a size 4. I'm sure he'll probably just pull them straight off, just like he does with his beenie, but I want him to start getting used to having something on his foot. (and to help keep his socks on!)
kotakai, I'm always putting shoes on Sam. He has these cute little brown boots but they're not soft soled. I've been putting his Dunlop Volleys on him a lot though and they seem to be good for him still trying to walk, etc.
Yay for Nick's new walking attempts! :yelclap:
Off to Google Gretel Killeen's new hair style.
IL's have dentist appointments this morning but they're taking my car. They were going to take their old car (now DH's) and get DH to take mine to work but I asked if DH could take his and leave mine here so that if I did have to go somewhere, I can drive it. His is manual and although I've done it once I refuse to drive it again. So they're taking mine to the dentist. Means I get the house to myself for a while. Wohoo! :smiliedance: But need to do my regular Woolies run and grab Lotto tickets and coffee on the way home. Am going to do another big batch of something for Sam to eat today.
Well I know which area Magick is in and oconky will be local too so how's Parra for the meet? I know that's as far as lambkin will go so I'll send her a FB message and see if she's in this time.
c38 Gretel was wearing a wig, but I flicked over too late to find out why as apparently its quite common knowledge (i.e. it was talked about on the radio that morning according to DP). Hope she hasn't had medical troubles.....
I was desperately wanting an iphone too, until I found out the camera only was 2 megapixels  so many other phones out there that have 5 megapixels and I always take pics of Sums on my phone, so thats a requirement for me! Hence why I haven't got a new phone in years, because I can't make a decision
kotakai, wow chais is walking :yelclap: Congrats!
babywez c38 is so right. It's all only just happened. I'm sure it will take time to get through it. I'm sorry to hear it's happened before.
Sorry no more personals. We have to get ready for......IKEA!!!!!! lol
Bye for now

Ok i did go through and quote but it dodn't seem to work and i am too tired to go back again!
C38 i liked gretels hair cut too but its a wig! Apparently there is some big thing about logies hair:confused: so she isn't let anyone see her real hair until next sunday i had no idea what she was talking bout but either way her wig looked good!
Ingi i am in geelong but wouldn't mind travelling and Chaisand Lara's mum is here too co i can check with her on facebook, But i am so confused as to what is classed as south eastern suburbs in melb?
Kotakai i hope your DD get sbetter soon, and Yay fro Chais walking thats very impressive!
K8y sounds like you are doing great workouts i hope the unveiling goes well when you are ready. I have been feeling as you said 'like a used up old dish rag" so have started playing netball 3 times a week as well as training and walking with my friend when she takes her dog out so starting to feel much better about myself. It still doesn't help that i spend most of the day in my PJ's or trackies and sometimes can go days without a shower cos Quinn starts not sleeping but nothing i can do about that.
Babywez yay for nicklas!!:smiliedance:Its so cute to see them walking around.
Well i had my first girls night out since having Quinn and it was so much fun! My mothers group had pre drinks at one of the girls houses, her Dh made us all pina coladas! then out to an indian restuarant and i haven't laughed so much in ages i really needed it. Shows me how lucky i am to have the great group of women in my group and the best thing about it was we hardly talked about our babies at all just normal stuff funny stories from our past etc i can't get over how much fun it was to just go out. Then i went and picked DP up from our friends place stayed there for a little while as DP was very drunk and not ready to leave yet finally get home at 1 am! Where DP trys to persuade me to have special cuddles, i refuse as i was exhausted and he promptly goes and :barf:lucky i said no!
It is such crappy weather here today and probably the rest of this week, reminds me of when i first had Quinn and had to keep lifting my top up to breastfeed in the middle of the freezing cold night stupid winter!

Oh i forgot to add was someone asking about on online invitation place? i am probably wrong but either wasy my friend got hers done through digivites.com (no au) and they are gorgeous! they have heaps of different styles and you just send your pics to thema nd they design it all for you then you can either by the jpeg and print them yourself or get them to print it for you at like 1.20 each
OK I can't find this wig you're all talking about - what was the style. And I recall her always wearing hair pieces and wigs, etc when hosting BB so I think it's just her being different.
Well the IL's have gone out.... but both cars are still here. Their brand new car (cover note runs out today so they're not driving it until the BIL gets hold of his insurance broker to get them a "good deal") and mine -which is there for THEM to drive.
So I could have organised my day differently today. I do need to get a few things done though so it's OK but just annoying to think that I may have decided to go somewhere had I not been told they needed my car.
MBQ I can sympathise over the BF in the middle of the night - cold nipples HURT to stick in a baby's mouth!
We had a back-sh!t this morning so Sam had a shower with me. Yuck it STANK! :barf:
The MIL's latest thing is she picks Sam up off the tiles when he's crawling an puts him on the rug in the lounge room. She says the tiles are too cold for him. So annoying! So no matter where he is in the house he automatically gets MOVED to the lounge room. On the other hand she has all of the windows open all day and even early in the morning. It's FREEZING in this house. TOTU! :hair:
Oh and yesterday morning I got her! She'd been steering clear of Sam for 2 days, still coughing, etc. So she walks into the next room to cough up a lung (all phlegmy cough too). Then she walks back into the kitchen and finishes making her toast. The FIL is holding Sam and she's stood next to him holding her toast. She breaks off a piece and sticks it in his mouth. I was so angry about her feeding him as I've told her on numerous times NOT TO that it took a few mins for me to realise she was so sick she can't touch him... so I made a point of saying to Sam right in front of her "No more food from Tayta because she's SICK, remember". She looked at me so I said to her "You're too sick to carry him but you just stuck your finger in his mouth when you gave him that toast!". She just walked away. I think she forgot... Anyway she's suddenly picking him up again today so maybe she's made a swift recovery. Must have been the carton of cigarettes she walked in with yesterday morning. Oh I'm so nasty but she only got out of bed on Saturday to have a cigarette! I'm sure they're not helping.
Must go - I'm only b!tching and it's not good.
Oh dear MOS, we already knew it was a good thing you are going back to the unit, but that just really confirms it!
MBQ, glad you had a good time out with the girls! I had a girls night out a few weeks ago and it was so good to get out with other women. We did talk about babies, but not the whole night, which was nice. It was a bunch of girls I went to HS with and hadn't been "out" with them since we were about 18! Was lovely.
Ok, was waiting for "Bob the electrician" and he's been and gone, so now I have the whole day to do stuff! Yay!
OK we have a counselling appt Wed night at 6 pm. Unfortunately we have to drive half way to Brisbane b/c the earliest we could get in on the coast was June 5th!!! Just trying to figure out how to get a baby sitter. It will be Nick's bed time so not sure how well my sister would handle that. But don't really want to give mum too many details. Might just tell her that 10 months of sleep deprivation and not communicating has taken its toll and we need some help. Just hope she doesnt' ask too many questions.

Kotakai - I remember them telling us at gymbaroo not to put any shoes on them until they are well into walking properly. Their heels don't develop properly otherwise. Just ask them next time you go but that's what they said to me.
Hope your DD feels better soon. And well done on Chais walking.
mybabyQ - i used digivites for our christmas cards. Only problem it took forever to get them and she had to send out another batch as I didn't get them in time. I ended up getting both lots on the second day and I must admit the 2nd lot she did wasn't as good as the original. But I'm going to use her for Michael's birthday cards as I'm having a jungle theme. Everyone else is charging more than $3 per invitation.
babywez - I'm sure your mum will be willing to help. And you can tell her as much or as little as you need to. If you don't want her to know just say you have plans together.
Yah for Nicholas walking.
Well I put those wall stickers up in Kirilly's room on the weekend. I'll take a photo and show you soon. I got a tree with coloured leaves and it has a woodpecker, a squirril and a hedgehog. It looks wonderful. I got jungle animals for Michael's room. I also go letters for the doors to spell out their names.
1 more week until I go back to work.
For those of you looking for invites, I can do similar cards to what is on digivite. I will create it and email it to you in a large .jpg format so you can print them at home, or at any local store that does photo printing. PM me if you want a website where you can see some samples and for price.
Morning all
Had a really late night last nite, so what happens? Maddie wakes up extra early this morning !!! Had some friends over last nite and didnt get to bed till 1am. Was fun, but i am reminded this morning that late nites and early mornings dont mix!
Babywez - hope your appt goes well - as someone said, i think and hope it will strengthen you guys. And yay for nick! Wow how exciting!
And Gretel! She looked like a freakin drag queen if you ask me hahahah. I think she has definitely had some botox or something done too cos her bags under the eyes and her neck looked too smooth for her!
MOS Just wondering have you told your IL's that your moving yet?
Kotaki -the soft soled shoes thing, yes my girl wears them all the time, but i actually sell them so thats why! She is like my little model. My web site is activelittlesoles.com and go to the soft soled baby shoes and have a look. They come in age brackets rather than sizes, so if you do like any of the designs i will give you a discount (same goes for anyone else on here) And they actually stay on!
MBQ - thanks for that invite link, will check it out for Maddies 1st bday invites
Well my go hang the washing out and then make a cuppacino! Need a kick!

babywez is doing some for me and they are excellent so far.....rate her very highly and prefer someone I know getting the business!!:D
c38- thanks for that link.....surprised you are not up with speech development ...you are with everything else:laughing: thanks very much for the link. I am not worried about it...just wasn't sure if I should be IYKWIM. her dad meanwhile hates the fact she hasn't said dad yet:rolleyes:
c38 hope your neck is better soon. BTW was looking at a post about MCN and your reply...which was responded to quite severely, I was a bit surprised as I thought your response was very objective
babywez- good on you for making the appt, hope babysitting works ok.
MOS- TOTU and Parra is fine for me or even a bit closer to lamkbin if needed.
mybabyq -great to hear you had a good night out.
k8y- hope you enjoy ikea.
well it is cold here, I have actually put on ther air con and am ringing around today to get someone to come for quotes as it is very old and we need something a bit better for winter, we have a fire, but sometimes you just need the place warm quickly.
:hugs:daisy boo.... I too am probably in my last week off...but don't actually know yet as I am still waiting for all the checks to go through...feel a bit weird as I know I am going back to work but don't know when.
anyway battery dying so will speak to you later.

I forgot you did invites sorry! i would love to know a price from you if you could PM me? i have to get started on sending out my invites as its only 6 weeks away!
I am glad you have gone through with booking int he counselling i hoep it gets everything sorted out for the two of you.
Daisy Boo i would love to see the photos of Kirrily's room. Quinn is getting some wall stickers for her birthday I forget which ones i had picked out but they are in a store near me.
Just feeding Quinn her new daily lunch of a jam sandwich she just loves it! Its so cute to watch her eat when she is really into it shouldn't have let her eat in our bed yesterday though as now it is disgustingly dirty smeared with jam all over it in our defence tho it was 14 outside and i am pretty sure 10 inside!
Afternoon all
G slept into 815 which was nice as so did I (woke at 1 and 3 and hmm 6 I think) But I was determined to got o Kindergym today,as I'd told a friend I'd go. So rush rush rush, and out the door at 905...starts at 915 in the city. Got there at 920, but of course NO parking..drove round block...and of coure G has gone to sleep.:hair: Was almost in tears... and about to turn round andcome home when someone pulled out. I get so frustrated about being late etc these days, yet, just dont seem to be able to get organised. It's doing my head in.
Anyhow he enjoyed his 20minutes of crawling over things. I must admit get a little frustrated that most of these things only seem to go for 1/2 an hour (well this 3/4hr as we were late) Gabriel seems to just warm into things and its time to packup (rock and rhyme is a bit the hsame) Seems hardly worth the effort to get there..yet I want him to have the experiences so go. I wish we had a similar facitity in Hobart where you could go and play for a long as you like, but didnt cost heaps.....LOL I know I want my cake for free and eat it:rolleyes:
Nevermind all too soon he will be big enough fo the park..for free...as long as we want.
Got home and of course he didnt want to have a nap as he's tired and had a mini nap in the car.. Had just relayed him down and he'd finally gone quite when the front door opens and Dad lets the dogs come bounding through the house.. :hair::hair: So of course Waaaaaaaawaaaaa!!.
So I get snappy... shhhing the dogs outside, and Dad gets all defensive. "Noah came up the stairs I couldnt get him to go round the back...blah blah..." So I "shhhh!" him, then he starts going on an on about how he's off to Bunnings to get somethingamaring..and meanwhile I'm "shhh shhhing..." As once G's asleep its fine. You can talk, vacuum (even if I use it as an internal excuse not to) whatever, and he'll sleep. The key is no talking, or sudden noises that first 5-15 minutes..TV/radio ok/outside noses are ok.. So anyhow then my Dad gets crabby, and storms out. And now I feel like an ungreatful daughter as he's finishing off the deck he's made for me..
:hair::hair: Who was it who wanted to rewind the day...???
Ok rant over.
Oh re Gretel..LOL I didnt notice it was a wig...:o
http://www.rovedaily.com.au/photos-index.htm
pics 10&11 show it but it doesn't look as good as it seemed to last night.
All the same, I quite like the style and am thinking of geeting a similar "drag queen cut..." LOL:laughing:
I didn't realise she was doing the Logies. OMG, as if it's not daggy enough already... they choose her!.. May as well wave he ratings goodbye before it even starts. Hope there's a good movie on another channel that night.
Ah well best stop procrastinating...and go do something useful.
Thanks for the link C38. Since we're picking on celebrities, I think Natalie Basingthwaite looks like a drag queen. She was wearing the same thing on last night's ep of So You Think You Can Dance. I don't watch the show but I always end up seeing the beginning because of The Biggest Loser. The way she presents makes me want to throw something at the telly! She READS - but REALLY FAST. And then that cheesy frozen-face grin afterwards? I can't stand to watch!
The SIL dropped her car off for the IL's this morning. When they got back I told them I thought they were taking my car. They said no, but they will take it tomorrow arvo. So I told them I'm going out tomorrow but will be back by 3:00 for them to use the car to pick up the SIL's kids from school... Nobody tells me ANYTHING! :hair: Anyway I was thinking I might do Ikea tomorrow as I have plans Thurs & Fri and will want to do another puree on Wed so that makes my week pretty full... Which is just the way I want my days for the next month!
The SIL's here and the MIL did her "go back to the carpet" thing with Sam. I asked her to please not worry about him being on the tiles because half the house is tiles. The SIL piped up saying to not worry about it. I told her it's CONSTANT and I don't want him moved all the time he starts to explore. Why CAN'T I tell someone not to move him all the time?? :hair:
I should give it a few days as I have a double low in my biorhythms so things should start to pick up... :D

MOS I really like Nat.....I loved her dress last night! I think shes bl00dy HOT
I did miss Gretel though, her hair is Cr@p no wonder she has to wear a wig......
BB I agree Nat is very beautiful but when she's on SYTYCD she looks like a drag queen - badly caked-on make-up. I did like her dress though BUT still can't stand to watch her READ! :D
Wonderful news re your very profitable weekend. Well done! :yelclap:
I hope you enjoyed your game of hangman babywez...
Well the SIL wants me to pick up her kids tomorrow. She's organised the IL's so that I have my own car tomorrow so that I can do it...
Well I've called the Dr's to make appointment earlier and it's for NEXT Friday, not THIS Friday, so I'm free! :smiliedance: It's for Friday the 8th and I've moved it to 9am so it doesn't sit in the middle of my day which is great.
I made a beef casserole for Sam today. OH MY GOSH IT'S YUMMO! The lucky little devil!
BB -Well done! What a great weekend.
Daisyboo -Yeah, I remember being told when my older 2 were younger not to put hard soled shoes on them till they'd been walking a bit. That's why I want soft soled ones, but DP is so picky & doesn't like anything I show him  Our house is so cold & I don't want the heater on 24/7 & Chais likes to pull his socks off, so I think soft shoes are my only way to keep his feet warm.
Well I've called the Dr's to make appointment earlier and it's for NEXT Friday, not THIS Friday, so I'm free! :smiliedance: It's for Friday the 8th and I've moved it to 9am so it doesn't sit in the middle of my day which is great.
That's Chais's birthday! Must be a good day for dr's. He has his check up with the paed that morning too.
I got a message back from lambkin and she's good for a Friday meet in Parra. So where should we do it? Make it easy for parking, etc and do Westfield? Won't post specifics here - will send a PM.
Lambkin mentioned she has limited internet access so she reads but doesn't get much time to post. I'll SMS her details of the meet when we've sorted ourselves out.
MOS I am with you on Nat Bassingthwaite's hosting abilities - gets on my nerves, too. Very monotone and flat. I actually don't watch the show, but what little of it I have seen, she is pathetic.
That said, I do like her music, and she's probably a very cool chick. And I think she is pretty. But I have no idea why she's nominated for a Gold Logie.
MBQ I sent you a PM.
hi girsl:wave:
got about 5pages of reading to catch up on:cool:
all good here just busy weekend as usual
back later to chat more
C38 hope your neck gets better. Sounds like one of those days for you tommorrow will hopefully be better!!
Kotokai - Yay for Chais walking! I dont put Riley in any shoes becoz they never stay on he pulls at them until they come off lol
Ingi i am in geelong but wouldn't mind travelling and Chaisand Lara's mum is here too co i can check with her on facebook, But i am so confused as to what is classed as south eastern suburbs in melb?
Glad you enjoyed your night out its so good when you can get out without the bub and not have to worry.
South Eastern Suburbs are like Narre Warren, Cranbourne, etc.
Im in Cranbourne North which is i think quite a distance from Geelong 1.5 hrs or something. I go to my Uncles in Coburg quite often though so maybe we can organise to meet somewhere in between or something? Where abouts is chaisandlaras mum?? It would be good to have a meet though.
The MIL's latest thing is she picks Sam up off the tiles when he's crawling an puts him on the rug in the lounge room. She says the tiles are too cold for him. So annoying! MOS how frustrating for you, you're his mum im sure if you thought it was a danger for him you would stop him from doing it or crawling there. Can I ask whats TOTU? Tell ehr if she makes Sam sick she will be getting up to him at all hours.
Babywez - good to hear you got an appointment so soon. Hope it goes well for yo. If you dont wnat your mmum to know you could just say your going out for dinner.

LMAO at the Gretel thing. I have to agree with you, i cant stand her!!
P.s. i went to the site and LOVED so many of the shoes on there DH was sitting rolling his eyes i think he was getting worried lol.
BB great news about the parties. Nice work!
Well i made tuna patties tonight Riley loved them which was good since it was my first attempt although theyre not really that challenging lol and guess what!?! The last couple of days hes been feeding himself!! Well mushing it all over his face but hes trying and he does actually get some food in his mouth lol. So after all that worry and all your replies (thanks btw) he did it on his own hehe.
Well im off to watch Underbelly :D
Night all
InGi - "TOTU" stands for "Think Of The Unit" as we're counting down the days until we move back in (early June) and this makes me bite my tongue a bit....
Watching The Biggest Loser. Michelle (trainer) is hot I think. Check out the big bruise omn AJ's arm. :p
I hate it when they get Amanda to sing opera... :hair:
aaaaah makes sense now duh i shoulda worked that one out earlier lol.
Yeah im watching Underbelly but flicking over during the ads, luckly it was to the operal part  not a fan at all of opera.
Yeh i agree Michelles hot i know DH thinks so lol
We just watched "Made of Honour" ... Patrick Dempsey. YUM! Just turned on Biggest Loser...so did Bob make it to the final? Didn't want to watch the WHOLE show...knew they'd drag it out.
I hope Julie wins this weigh-in!
forgot to say last time I posted..well done to Chais for walking and Mr G for standing by himself:yelclap: soo exciting.
well busy day here just doing bits and pieces also watched the heartbreak kid with Ben Stiller..not bad, same old story. talked to my new boss and it is almost good to go to start next week  not sure I am ready now....got to go to staff health this week and get all my vacc checked...she wanted me to bring documents ha like I have my vacc documented from 20 years ago...anyway I got what days I wanted and can use time in lieu or swap days if I need anyway so it is pretty good.
all this talk about shows I don't watch...can't keep up!
anyway off to bed...speak to you tomorrow andlooking forward to friday morning
Yay, so our meet's been organised for this Friday morning, 1st of May at 1am in the Parramatta area if there's anyone else that would like to join us. I know there was someone else who didn't post often that was interested in coming to a meet - someone who lives around the Leichhardt area? I am sooo lost but at least I know what I'm talking about! If anyone remembers, let me know or send them a message through FB to let them know to contact me if interested. Thanks.
Well must go get ready for Ikea. Sam almost had another backsh!t this morning - lucky I got to it in time.
BBL.
Ooooo Ikea!!.. can you pick me up a futon while you're there..
Quick update whilst g plays with highchair
G slept: 830-10..stirred, given dummy and extra blanket, then slept until 7:smiliedance:
Dropped in on new child care centre nearby yesterday to peer through windows. Meet owner who let us wander through and gave us an enrollment pack. OMG so lovelly, oner and second in chanreg are lovely. Only going to have 8kids:2 carers per room. Babies with babies not 3yr olds..:smiliedance: AND they open at 7.
G walked across room with walker while there.:smiliedance:
Ops crying..best go rescue
YAY Mr G!!! :yelclap: Well done. And well done for the good night's sleep.
I was going to report yesterday that I'm starting a FEW things out of that book (dead set routine), introducing him to a teddy bear at each nap time, re-settling in cot, not pulling out of cot as soon as he's awake, etc. Well yesterday he woke up after only 45 min nap but he managed to lie in his cot drifting in and out of sleep for 15 mins. He's normally hysterical and standing when he wakes up. I haven't been able to do ANY shush-patting since he learned how to stand up in his cot. So I had a SMALL breakthrough. And the book said that their naps can be shorter when you start these new things but they lengthen out slowly. Both of his naps yesterday were only 45 mins but they were in his cot rather than the pram so I am seeing that as a positive.
Anyway best get ready if I have to go and pick up a futon for C38!
Awesome sleeping by little G! How did YOU sleep c38? And how is your neck?
My shoulder blades have been spasming lately. I KNOW its from carrying him too much. He is just getting too heavy - almost 10kgs. And he wants to be picked up and carried a LOT. Need to stop.
How about Bob last night? Could you imagine losing more than 50% of your body weight?! He was quite funny, too. "I'm half the man I used to be, I just don't know which half I am." HA. I'd like to say The Biggest Loser finale inspired me today. I thought about getting a custard scroll from Bakers Delight for breakfast but I thought of Tiffany and Bob, and I didn't! And I got Paull's frozen yoghurt instead of a huge tub of ice cream. Hey, its a start!
oconky and magick33 - I am short 2 Huggies barcodes for my free tent. Do you guys have any you can donate my way?! :o

Yay for walking & sleeping :smiliedance: I'm glad the CC looked good too.
Well done Chais for walking :yelclap:how long has he been walking for now Kotakai....(sorry must have missed that post)
He took 6 steps about 2 days ago, but since then, he continually lets go & walks between things or across the room. Still not exactly steady, but def getting better. Can't stand himself up though, he has to pull himself up on something & then let go.
Hi all
I'm good. Just flat out with uni, homework so so much of it, plus assignments and finals seem so close  Am starting to feel the stress and am trying not to buckle but I wonder if I can make it through to the other side. I'm over it.
Sorry no personals but I really have to get as much done as I can while Sums is in CC today.
Everyone have a nice day :goodvibes:
I just brought some huggies will check but I didnt see that little booklet stuck to it?
What book??? I'm puzzled...
And I meant 10am - Sorry! The "0" must not have worked properly! I'll PM DaisyBoo too. Thanks kotakai.

I have just introduced a teddy actually a bunny rabbit she got for easter. She wouldn't put it down to start with so i just fed her while she was holding onto it too making sure she would hold that instead of me IYKWIM? so between my chest and her body the teddy was there and i found that helped her when i layed her down as the teddy was still there which is what she had felt while feeding. Am i making any sense? Anyway now she loves it and just putting it in her arms when she is ready for a sleep calms her down, Its so sweet to see her rub its ears on her cheek its so soft!
Wow 10kgs! you must be getting some big muscles along with the pain!
Yes i watched Biggest loser shouldn't have stayed up that late but the transformations are the best part! Bob looked incredible i think everyone knew he was going to win! I can't imagine losing half my body weight, although i would have to get pretty big to need to. The work they have done is just amazing i don't think i could be that motivated. And man AJ was annoying me, she kept moving really weirdly while talking anyone else see it? i think she just bugs me anyway. I don't understand why she still has a job with them after being busted for centrelink fraud. i know one has nothing to do with the other but what she did was so wrong. .

k8y i hope you get everything done that you need too! DOn't worry it'll be tough for the next few weeks and then you wil get a big mid year break to feel refreshed before you start over again!
We have swimming lessons this morning, i am hoping doing them thorugh winter won't be a mistake, although Quinn gets dried and changed into warm clothes afterwards its just me that gets stuck in a wet bathing suit until we get home!
Bonbon i would love to get some of those shoes! they are gorgeous, i like the bird ones might get onto someone so they can get them for Q's birthday.
C38 Yay for mr G sleeping! so you dind't feed him at 10? it always makes me think when she just goes straight back to sleep for DP have i been doing it wrong for so long and has not actually needed a feed for months just taken it cos i was to sleepy to refuse? oh well we have gotten down to 7-7 without a feed just one resettling hoping that goes away in a few more days. Although now i feel like AF is coming i guess from not feeding through the night but i am having some major pains, been for the last 2 days i just want them to go away!

babywez - I have just sent you PM. Send me the details of your website.
Oconky - I will be thinking of you next week too when you start work.
mybabyQ - I will send the photos through soon.
How did swimming lessons go. I have the kids booked in for Sunday. I hope it will be okay in this weather.
Kirilly can't sleep without her pink blanket and her jemima doll( from playschool). She takes the doll everywhere with her. She is filthy and she wont let me wash her. Michael holds onto my tshirt to sleep.
oconky and magick33 - I am short 2 Huggies barcodes for my free tent. Do you guys have any you can donate my way?! :o
I should have a code for the wipes if that helps :)
I'll see what I can hunt out and bring with me.

Hi all, trying to catch up on all the chatter.
c38 wonderful news re the CC centre
K8y, sounds like your snowed under ATM, but you will see the light soon!
Didnt multi quote and now Ive forgotten everything...
And I meant 10am - Sorry! The "0" must not have worked properly! I'll PM DaisyBoo too. Thanks kotakai.
Bummer, I can't make it then. Have fun!
And man AJ was annoying me, she kept moving really weirdly while talking anyone else see it?

YES!!!!!! I saw that too & it was driving me crazy  I also love seeing the transformations. They all looked amazing!
I've always continued swimming through winter. I find if you don't, it's like starting all over again & can be a bit harder as they get older. As long as you're dry & rugged up when you leave you should be fine. What a lot of people do at ours is after they dress them, put a dressing gown on, as that gives added warmth.
these are the stickers in Kirilly's room. Hopefully it works.

Hey girls,
Sorry, have missed a bit too much :ecomcity:, so might give too many personals a miss... I'll be here for a week catching up :p
Not much here... remember Khirra learnt a couple of weeks ago where her tongue is and sticks it out and points to it when you ask her? Well, I've got her doing her bellybutton as well now :yelclap: lol, it's very cute. Pulls her shirt up and sticks her finger in it, or just pokes at it through her shirt. So her nose is the next one I'll be teaching her. :goodvibes: She's also saying 'up' now when she wants to be lifted... I've been saying that to her for goodness knows how long now when she puts her arms up to be picked up. Yet to get a 'ta' out of her though ...would be nice to get a bit of appreciation, lol.
She's 11 months today. Sending out her birthday party invites. I really don't know where the year has gone.
Speaking of nearly 1 year olds, woohoo for Chais walking!! Clever little man! :yelclap: All these early walkers in the June group!
C38 glad that CC centre looked good. Went to my old centre today to get my group certificate as the other one is packed away somewhere, and it looked good.. saw some of my littlies - was sooo nice. They didn't really remember me though - they were only 2 when I had them, and they're 4 now. Big kids :)
Babywez - hope you're doing okay hun.
Okay, gotta get my little miss down for a nap.
BBL
ETA: LOVE the sticker for Kirilly's room - so sweet!
Ops crying..best go rescue
that is great news c38 on all accounts...mind you I think Mr G and Pip are swapping as she has lately been wide awake at 4.30 in the morning...so tired atm as by the time we get back to sleep in my bed:rolleyes: it is 5.30 then up at 6.30
oconky and magick33 - I am short 2 Huggies barcodes for my free tent. Do you guys have any you can donate my way?! :o
I have one - I just threw out 3 tho sorry I thought it was 5 and when I realised it was 10 I gave up, I will try anbd remember to bring it friday.
well despite being grumpy as I am tired, my good news is that I got equal top marks in my mid way exam for my tax course woo hoo, I don't know if it is just the class or eveyone (as there are classes run everywhere and the exams go to head office to be marked. but either way very happy for the first bit of studyin 10 years!
well DH is finally home so will catch you all later
OH daisy boo- love Kirrily's room
I should have a code for the wipes if that helps :)
I'll see what I can hunt out and bring with me.
No it's OK. I've alread got one for the wipes and you need 1 wipes barcode and 10 nappy ones. I've re-counted and I have a wipes one and 8 nappy ones. Need to buy more nappies soon so your one oconky would be perfect thank you.
these are the stickers in Kirilly's room. Hopefully it works.

They look fabulous! Makes me re-think my ball theme... The border I want to get is very American and I thought I could pull it off but it's the first thing DH said when I showed him so not too sure anymore. I'm cool with baseball but WTF's grid-iron?! :o I dunno... Maybe a green wall with that tree would be better... I'll ponder. I've seen those stickers around and that tree's the nicest one and I did consider that a while ago. Would be better for a unisex room in case of a sharing brother/sister in future...
The MIL's at physio so am home alone ATM. Wohoo! :smiliedance:

That looks soooo good! Where did you get them from?
Babywez - do you have a website for your invites? Ive seen one I love, not sure if you can do something similiar?
MBQ - those bird shoes are my fav too, sooo cute. Let me know if you end up getting some and i will give you a discount code.
I cant believe our bubs are starting to walk, they were just little bubbas not so long ago!
Maddie says "bye" and waves and i think she is starting to say "ta". so cute
Well I think it might snow here tomorrow - DH put up some prints i have been asking him to do for forever, went to bunnings and got fertiliser for our lawn, and lo and friggin behold, i came out from putting maddie down, and he was folding the washing. I stopped and asked him what he was doing, and he was like, what does it look like! And im like, ummmm you NEVER fold washing. So weird!?
Maddie has been really bad at her day naps lately, she had 45 mins for the whole day on sunday, and NO sleep on monday. Maybe more teeth??
Did anyone watch Masterchef last nite? I actually reeallly like it, it kinda inspires you to cook better, but the only prob is, i dont love it like these ppl do. So funny, we were having toasted chick focaccias while we were watching ppl cook these amazing dishes, and the DH goes, why cant you cook like that! haha
Oh well, better go, got lots to do!
xx
Am letting Sam have a little cry since it's WAY past nap time and he's yet to fall asleep. I think I'm toughening myself up! (not him, ME!)
Bonbon, we watched a little but of MasterChef last night as DH was switching channels and he told me I should go on it! I tod him "Yeah right" and he said no, they're all amateurs and he thinks I'd be good. As I said to him, I can cook out of a recipe book but when it comes to making something up I'm lost. It was a nice compliment though - which is what I think it was meant to be anyway.
Got some more work from my boss today. He's hired a new girl who seems nice. Sam liked her anyway - he kept on crawling up to her desk. We're also re-writing DH and my life insurance which means commission for them but I negotiated 20% of that to go back to me. I told them if I'm going to fill out medical forms, etc I want to get paid! After all, without us chosing to do it, there is NO commission! :D It doesn't cost us anything (not right now anyway) either as it comes out of our super.
Well I'm off as the little monster chucked a wobly, I gave in and now he's roaming around the house.

Hi girls! Sorry i've been MIA again. too much to catch up on so no personals, sorry.
Well we finally got all our stuff organised for the house in time for settlement. It's meant to be the 12th of May but the vendor wants to settle early, so I guess whenever our bank is ready. We're using the first home owner's grant to pay for some of the house so we have to wait until that comes through as the loan amount won't cover the cost of the property. Blah blaaah!
Been pretty busy. Elliot is walking really well now and it's just so adorable. He looks like a wind up toy cause he still seems so little. He is so happy. he just walks and laughs and explores the house. He must have been really frustrated not being able to before because he whinges MUCH less now that he is more mobile. Yippee.
Well he's really not that tiny obviously as my back can atest. Oh my god it is so sore every day now from lugging his bum around. He can walk or crawl if I put him down, but he doesn't go in the right direction so I'm still carrying him everywhere. The ERGO we got is great but I need help to get him in and out so no good if I'm out on my own, and he still won't sit in the pram without crying. Iknow I spoil him and should just let him cry it out but then i'd cry too and maybe sympathetic passers by would cry and it would just be a great big mess ;)
Can't wait for the meet up on Friday! Ya'll can check out my new hair colour. It's called "Smouldering Red" and I love it! It was totally an impulse buy when I did groceries with DH. He said "I'm getting some berocca" and I said "It's $15!! I'm getting something that's $15 if you are!" and the hair dye was there and viola. We are mature, no? ;)
MOS - Make sure you text me the details!
Ah I have missed BH! I can't wait until we move and have our own internet so I can catch up with you all at night when Elly Belly is sleeping soundly. For now I get the odd 5 mins online when I'm at mum's and it's just not enough. I am an addict! Am also going to sell a whole heap of stuff on ebay to pay for all the paint we're going to need to carry out my grand plans! Green lounge, purple bedroom. Orange hallway? Hmm. maybe. Maybe not. haha. Thinking.. err.. outloud?
Elliot is talking a bit more now. He hands things to people and says "DAAA!" meaning "ta" (thank you) and he says what sounds like "Gay-bo" when I am changing his nappy, but I think he means to say "Good boy". Very cute.
What is everyone doing for bub's first birthday?? And for MOTHER'S DAY?? My first one - hooray! I wonder what elliot will get me? Boogers? Fingers crossed! ;)
And Elliot is really into baby sushi but i can't think of anything soft enough to put into it other than avocado or tuna and he needs some more variety. Any suggestions? Something soft that i don't have to cook?
x
Well this arvo's been one of those arvos I think. I had a little moment where I just sat here and cried. The IL's were out so I was looking forward to a relaxing coffee once Sam was asleep... Yet he never went to sleep. :hair: Instead he crawled around whinging (over-tired). Then the IL's came home so once they were in the house I said hi and then shut our bedroom door. Then I continued my attempts to get him to fall asleep. FINALLY he went down and then I could hear my mobile ring in the lounge room. Thankfully nobody knocked to let me know and I stayed in here until Sam was well asleep.
The MIL walked around outside the door chanting Sam's name and calling out to him while he was crying and I was desperately trying to get him to settle. It was at this point my blood began to boil and I wanted to cry.
Then the BIL got here so Roxy went off at him as he walked up the driveway (she really doesn't like him AT ALL). She's gotten used to the rest of the family but she goes apesh!t at him every time he comes over. Then he walks up to the bedroom door and yells out "Hi Claire". Sam lifts his head and I settle him again.
Then DH comes home and him and his brother have "words" and DH yells at him. Not sure why...
And then we hear Roxy yelp. She's torn her las finger nail side-ways and it's bleeding. I've called the vet and they said it's very common but it needs to come off. Someone (either them or us) needs to get it off so that it doesn't continue to get caught on things and bleed more. DH doesn't want to take her to the vet but it's almost off so we'll wait and see how it is tomorrow. I on the other hand would rather the vet sort it out and spend a little bit of money to save me from vomiting at the thought of it. Ooh and the vet also warned if we hurt her (which is likely), she may bite. DH still wants ME to take care of it.
Today is not my day... :crying:
Sorry for entire postof self-pity. :(

MOS - :hugs::hugs::hugs:
TOTU, TOTU, TOTU!
Just sent text to you now Lambkin. Thanks for the reminder. :D
Smouldering Red, eh? Well at least we'll spot you easily!
I too am going to Ebay a bunch of stuff once we've un-packed and sorted out what furniture fits, etc. I have 2 coffee tables as we used to have 2 lounge rooms and we're not going to be using ANY! :p So yay, Eay here I come!
Back later. Dinner ready and I'm being terribly anti-social. On a brighter note, DH bought a WHOLE BOX of Krispy Kreme on his way home and smuggled them into our bedroom so we're going to eat them after dinner and not share any! :D
Do any of you know of any free way of editing video footage?
I just took some of Chais walking, but it's so dark, I need to lighten it. My software only does photos though.

kotakai - I got some shoes the other day for elliot called 'cheeky little soles'. They are very soft although elliot finds them a bit weird to walk in. It's just for when we are outside as there's grease etc. everywhere because dad does mechanical stuff for worka nd works from home. They have a website! I got El a Large size and he's a size 4 also.

I know it's a little immature, but it seems to help me when DH is being an a$$
Google "Boys are stupid game" and click on the first link. It's a game called "Boys are stupid. Throw rocks at them." And you .. well.. throw rocks at boys. I don't understand the logistics, but somehow it helps

And why not another post.. just for good measure ;)
sorry for the spam, folks!
For some reason last night we were talking about why muslims don't eat pig. (Bear with me now - not preaching!). DH told us all that God also forbid Christians not to eat pig and his dad didn't believe him. He has since done some research and he is in fact correct. What he has also done is put me off all pig products for life.
So I no longer eat pork - ham, bacon, etc, etc. GROSS! :barf:
:o
Lambkin - Dondons (or was it bonbon?! :dizzy:) sells Cheeky Little Soles!
Just thought I had to end "The Lambkin Show". :D :p
MOS think the Pork thing, Muslims and Jews, is not to eat animals with a cleft foot, also pigs are considered "dirty animals". I know your outlaws are Christians, like the Coptics, have very old beliefs.
Funny Im not religious (wish I was so God could find me, and give me peace and hope and stuff ), but Im am truly fascinated by different faiths and beliefs, traditions etc.

My Mum is copying me! She just got home with a new hair cut almost identical to mine and with a hair dye in her hot little hands...
SMOULDERING RED!
Hey MOS, don't forget to tune in next week!! ;) :p
Tiggles, the muslims didn't eat it because of something to do with tapeworms. Won't go into it but if you Google it can get scary!
Just spoke to my sister about getting family & friends deal with 3 and getting a new phone. Woohoo! :smiliedance:

Awww your day was similiar to mine (except the crazy mil and the dog thing and the bil hhaa) Madison was EXACTLY the same today. Would NOT sleep, in fact she has been like it for 3 days, yet is sleeping well at nite only cos i think she is sooo tired!! MAN i was getting frustrated, all i wanted to do was have 4 minutes to myself!!! And MOS seriously what the heck is wrong with your MIL?! Standing outside your door chanting his name? She wasnt sacrficing one of his dummys while doing this was she? hahah She is so weird, and i know this is strange but i wanna see what this crazy lady looks like!!

 mirror image aka bonbon lol
I vaguely recall my DD1 transitioning to 1 sleep about 12 months, but could be wrong (who can remember this stuff in detail?!?). My DD 2 has been hard to get to sleep in the pm if she has had a good am sleep (2hrs) so am thinking that maybe she is transitioning too. But they are all so different. My DD1 hasnt been having day sleeps since she was just over 2 (and that was with me basically forcing her to since about 20 months old, sitting at the door of her room for at least half an hour), but there are other mums that still get their 3 yos to have a 2 hour sleep in the day! :o I'm jealous!

Hi ladies. Sorry for being rude by saying hello and not coming back. My internet was down for a couple of days, and now I realise what a few of you meant about keeping up. OMG - I've just read up to page 9 and gave up til later.
Thank you all so much for the warm welcome and the nickname (I feel like I've been accepted into the 'cool' group in high school lol). It may take awhile but I'll try and learn who everyone is :).
I'm in Newcastle, NSW by the way, so if there are any others out there in the area I'd love to catch up.
I've loved reading all your comments so far and can relate to so many of them. Sarah's teething, walking around furniture, eating everything she sees (good when it's vegies, not so good when it's grass, paper, my magazines etc), says 'dad dad dad' constantly even though it's 'mum mum mum' who looks after her nearly all the time (not fair - why is that?), and generally just making us laugh all the time. My hubby drives me nuts sometimes too, and it's great to be able to have somewhere to whinge about him without feeling like an idiot. And I have in-laws who keep trying to shove lollies and burger rings into sarah but then tell me I shouldn't be giving her capsicum, peas or broccoli - what the??
But that's life hey. You get that.
Myself, I am happy and loving motherhood to bits. Unfortunately I have to go back to work in just over a month and am absolutely dreading it. After 11 months of being with sarah every day I am really not sure I will cope, but I suppose I will just have to. Luckily I am only going back 3 days a week so it won't be as bad as some poor women.
Anyway that's my story for you. Hopefully I will be able to keep up this time.
Still in bed but I smell poo so must be quick otherwise he'll be in the shower with me again for the SECOND time this week after it having travelled north to his neck.
MGS, great to hear we didn't scare you off and I can totally understand annoying IL's.
bonbon, I read recently that they can go from 2 to 1 nap a day anywhere from around the 12 mmonth mark to the 18 month mark depending on your baby. Maybe that's my problem too. Although Sam had like a 2-3 hour morning nap yesterday which is abnormal. I didn't think of this whilst trying to get the energiser bunny to sleep in the arvo.
Well I'm COMING TO BRISSY!!! :smiliedance:
DH and I were talking last night about how I want to see my sister and mum before mum moves to Tassy as visiting them will then be 2 separate trips. DH said that when he gets time off work the last thing he'll want to do is visit my family which is fair enough... so he said he'll fly me up there for a few days. So I need to speak to my mum and sis today and see what their work rosters look like. Mum's BF goes away after this week too which will be good as she won't be around his place the whole time too. Curious at this stage but when do you Brissy mums normally meet? If there's a day that's better for you guys, what is it? Would be nice to meet you guys too. :D
And hey I may just get to meet BB and C38 one day whilst visiting mum! :D
Today am going to organise getting my hair done and our phones...
GTG stinky bum beckons.
Morning!
MOS that is great that you'll get to see your mum and sister and get a few days break from the "outlaws" haha. Unfortunately we haven't been able to get together since that first meet b/c the second one we planned I messed up by throwing my back out, and then Sums and Nick were sick...but maybe we could plan another one especially for you and Sam. Nick would like another boy to talk to
Totally unrelated to ANYTHING, I went to the optometrist yesterday and she reckons I have some infection/disease in my eyelids and here's her "prescription"... glass of warm water, add a teaspoon of J&J No more tears baby shampoo, use a q-tip to "clean" my eyelids! twice a day until it gets better then once a day, then "as needed". What do you think? Sounds strange to me! J&J baby shampoo????
We have counselling tonight. I said to DH last night that it bugs me that this whole thing doesn't appear to be bothering him too much. He said that if it appears that way, he doesn't know why, b/c he's sick to his stomach most of the time (I said, "Not to be spiteful, but good, b/c that's how I spent all day Thursday!") and he said he's walking around work like a zombie, worried that I'm going to leave him and never let him see Nick again. I really hope we can get somewhere tonight with the counsellor. A couple of nights ago he said "I'm sorry I hurt you." And I don't know what to think of that. It almost sounds like when someone apologizes and they say, "I'm sorry you feel that way"...not, "I'm sorry for what I did" but "I'm sorry that you feel that way b/c of it" kind of thing. I'm a bit worried about how he'll go tonight. He's not the best about talking about his feelings, that's how we got here in the first place. He finally said he's felt "lonely" since Nick came along b/c when he gets home, its feed/bath/bed time for Nick, then I go to bed b/c I"ve been so tired, etc. And he said he "can't compete" with Nicklas. I said, "Its not a competition!" But I get from that that he feels like I don't make any time for him. Which is probably true.
Blah, enough of my ranting! I'll save it all for the counsellor tonight :)

lol... anyone else like Fifi on Sunrise in the mornings? That girl cracks me up... used to love listening to her on the radio back in the day.
Lambkin - Smoldering red! We expect pics! Like the matches say 'Redheads are best' :D (says the redhead who goes to great lengths to keep her hair any colour but red, haha)
Bonbon - I might be putting an order in for Khirra's birthday.... love the little pink ones with the hearts on them...can't remember the name. They're so sweet though! Just have to figure out sizes... she seems to be a 3 in the shoes I've tried on in the shops....
Ingi - totally watch that show for the same reason. I tell DP it's for lack of anything else on TV, but I have motives ;)
MGS - Glad to see you've made it back! And I'm sure lots of the mummies can relate to your pain in having to go back to work at the moment... there's a few around. Must be terribly hard :hugs:
Re: the naps... I think some days Kiss would be happy to only have one nap, and tries to aim for that, lol, but then she's just a mess by 5pm when she's usually having dinner, and it turns into a bit more of a battle than it should be. Mind you, the bath after tea always perks her right back up, lol, she just loves it.
MOS - Coming to Brissie! Woohoo! We haven't had a meet for a while.... and while poor K8y's been snowed under studying we haven't really suggested another. But I'm sure one can be arranged while you're up here :yelclap: Gosh... you, K8y, Babywez (and me, I guess)... anyone else will be lucky to get a word in edgeways ;)
Okay, have to get Khirra down for a quick nap before swimming.

:hugs::hugs: Babywez for tonight....
I get what you mean about that apology. I'm sure the counseller will be able to get him to better articulate what he's actually feeling/thinking - that's their job after all.
And that is weird about the shampoo.... I guess though. My DP has some harmlesss bacterial rash he gets on his back from time to time and the treatment? Putting Selsun Blue Dandruff shampoo on it. And it works! Plus washing his hair with it, cos apparently it lives in the scalp. Weird! lol
Ahhh I'm here
Have an assignment to try and work on today along with keeping up with Miss.
CC yesterday said she tries to climb absolutely everything, no matter what it is
Oh she just turned the tv off then on again. Cheeky monkey. Usually we have a wrestle with the volume, her turning it up on the dial, me turning it down by remote control, which is hard as she stands in the way of the thingy.
babywez hope all goes well tonight :hugs: thinking of you.
MOS, yay, coming to see us! (visiting your family is just a side benefit :D). TOTU.
Daisy Boo was that your nursery pic? It looks very sweet.
MOS what theme were you going with - baseball? What linen deco are you using? if you go to a website thats called modernwallgraphics and add .com (it's overseas) but they have a cute safari theme for the walls and a few others. Thats where I'm thinking of ordering my stuff. I haven't looked around too much yet because stinky uni is keeping me busy.
BB wow, you have made some great money. Sounds very lucrative. Don't run yourself down though as we see less of you now and we miss you :goodvibes:
SMO3 must your day for thread hog??
ems yes I watch fifi too. She is hilarious and such a bogan lol..
lambkin your hair sounds divine. Show us a pic please!
Best go I suppose. Breakfast would be nice, I'm hungry.
Oh I haven't lost any weight lately :( Not during the exam study thats for sure and all this weight training I am doing I suppose would be putting on a bit of muscle, so may see some results a little bit further down the track.
babywez, strange about putting baby shampoo in your eye! Let us know if it works. I can't think of many more unpleasant things to stick in my eye though so GOOD LUCK!
IL's out for most of the day - YAY! Sam napped for an hour so we're getting better... let's hope he goes down this arvo. I've already made a chicken/vegie batch for Sam, done DH's veggies for lunch tomorrow and made a chicken breast/salad/seeded mustard sandwich for his lunch tomorrow.
There's a phone on a plan on the Three website that I want but it says the good deal is for existing Three customers. If I'm a pre paid customer am I still a customer? Might call and ask them as my sister's not been answering her phone this morning. The phone I want has a built in navigator which is great for me - who always seems to get lost!
babwez, good luck for tonight. I know what you mean about the apology too. It does sound like he means well by it but I too can sympathise with someone meaning well but having it STILL annoy the hell outta me! :o
Without saying too much, I've made a fairly large mistake about a year before DH and I got married. It was the biggest mistake of my life and I still have ABSOLUTELY no idea why I did it. We talked it through, he asked anything he wanted and I answered totally honestly and we started fresh from that point on. I must say it took something big and almost losing him to understand how important he is to me. It took a big man to forgive me and I'll never forget it. I also will never take him for granted for as long as I live. I'll put it down to me being young and STUPID.
Babywez, I know you've been through something similar before but could it be that your DH is a little THICK and just took a little longer to realise what he has? I hope you get what you need from him. :hugs: And I hope he knows what he has in you now.
k8y, will check out that site now. Thnks. I was originally going to use a border which had all different balls on it - soccer ball, basketball, grid-iron ball (looked to me like an AFL ball) and a baseball. DH loves playing ball and can't wait to teach him how to catch/throw, etc so I thought it would be cute... still like the idea but not sure. Will check out your site now...
:geek: damn you k8y! I've just fallen in love... with the square ironworks all decals under the "new" category on that website. I was going to wal paper the small wall behind our TV in the unit. It's already a slightly darker beige than the rest of the unit and now I'm thinking 3 of those wall decals stuck in a row above the TV in maybe a chocolate colour (just to be SOOOOO adventurous!). It'd be cheaper and MUCH easier than wall paper.
I hope I'll decide on something long enough to actually DO IT once we're in there! :o
I really like the safari animals one too k8y. I could still do the green colour I absolutely love... thanks!
I keep on thinking how exciting it will be to see Sam playing with his cousin Jax. You know I've noticed babies tend to pick things up from socialising with other babies. We normally see younger ones though so I'm hoping Jaxon can teach Sam how to walk! :D
Rambling now. BBL.
I'm so excited, I now don't have to be somewhere on Friday until after lunch, so I'm free in the morning :smiliedance: Can someone please PM me the meet details. I can't wait to see everyone again.
MOS -Have you thought about joining a playgroup in your area? The term just gone is the first term I've missed since my older 2 were little, but I'm going back this term. It's a lot of fun & a great way to meet new people. Chais needs to learn to socialise a bit better, so I'm hoping this helps.
Hi all
Some good news. DH has a work car that the lease runs out this June or July, the lease company either get the car back or just want the payout figure. Well we get first dibs to buy it, we were expecting a pay out of about 22-23K, but its only going to be 14.5K, :yelclap:. Its a fantastic Commodore SV8, v8 six speed manual will only be 3 years old. And best of all it will be MY CAR!!!! So I will be able to pension off my cruddy old station wagon. Cant wait, fingers crossed nothing goes wrong and we cant buy it.
Other than that my work is sooo slow, no calls or emails, has been for weeks, but I still have to be near my desk in case anything comes in. So annoying as I have so many outside jobs to be done. I cant see my employer keeping me on much longer if this continues to happen.
I'm so excited, I now don't have to be somewhere on Friday until after lunch, so I'm free in the morning :smiliedance: Can someone please PM me the meet details. I can't wait to see everyone again.

Woohoo! Sending you a PM now re the details of our meet.
And no I hadn't thought about the playgroup thing. How do I go about it since I've never been to see the CHN or anything? Does that mea I'd have to host one at some stage? I don't think I'm going to have the room for a few mummies AND kiddies in our unit... Thanks.
And yay Tiggles for the car! :smiliedance: Congrats! :yelclap:
 MOS the ironworks are gorgeous. So cool they are removable and easier then wallpaper, I can't make a decision on what I want!
You can also get sentences done too. Pick fonts, font colours and size and have whatever you want on your wall.
You say you make your DH sandwich for tomorrow? How do you keep it from being soggy?
tiggles that car sounds great :yelclap: Hope work doesn't put you off.....
Well Sums has been asleep since 11am, so managed to get my assignment finished - woohooo. Means I can get out this afternoon and take Summer somewhere, go for a walk or to the shops, to get out of the house. So many things to do, not sure which!
Oh we picked our oven/rangehood!
We decided on a standalone, but will cover the bottom legs so it 'looks built in'. It's an omega 900mm gas cooktop, electric oven. With a matching 900mm rangehood. So exciting!
DP has been busy designing the cupboards, but we've picked a beautiful granite benchtop from Ikea in 'ice snow' and are getting an aqua blue glass splashback. Yay! fun stuff.
We've also decided last night on a extra wide island bench so that we can put cupboards on the other side for extra cupboard space.
Also at Ikea we got Sums a tunnel, too cute! She crawls through it to get out of the loungeroom atm  and I got a 5 tier timber shelf unit for our little ensuite as atm we have a yucky one that has plastic drawers and a rusted chrome top to store all my products. I don't use the main bathroom to put my stuff in as it's too much of a hassle.
I want to go back to Ikea though to get some baskets for a couple of the shelves to put the looser stuff in.
Grrr MOS and K8Y for that decal site..... I like the ironworks ones and also the bugs and aliens.. I LOVE the swing. Hmm, am tempted to get a boy on a swing to hang on the tree in Gabriels room, and maybe the bugs to put where he's pulled the butterflys off. I should just get my act together and make my own again.
Lampkin: how cool you've become a role model for your mum. And yes, we want pics of the hair!!
As for baby sushi.. very creative of you. I love sushi but don't make it often as I can't be bothered with the mess. Um was thinking, grated carrot and or cucumber, grated beetroot, flavoured tofu, stips of bean curd, um sardines:rolleyes:
Babywez:hugs: Goodluck for tonight. I hope you both connect with the counseller.
MGS; I go back to work in about 3 weeks too:crying:
Well lastnight wasnt as good as the night before, but he did go off to sleep by himself...and when he woke at an hour or so later settled easily with just a forehead stroke and retucking. He then slept until 3.. I took him into bed with me to feed...and fell asleep..so he was there until 7. Thats pretty good for him though.
Consequently my neck is spasming again..it felt ok on Monday so I havent got an appt at the Oste, and I'll have to wait until at least Sat as I havent got a baby sitter until then... Might go back to the massage place in the shopping centre..and pop him on the boob again:D
It might be more the cold weather then sleeping crooked with him....was 0 this am brrrrrrrr!
Poor little man, I took him to Rock and Rhyme this morning and didnt realise in my rush I'd left him in superman mode (All in one suit crutch buttoned over his tracky dakkies) until I saw the look given by one of the other Mums there.....
Is there a library near you MOS? A lot of them have storytime or rock and rhyme. There's no doubt a Play Group. He would love it. Is a tricky age though as they are so curious about each other, and so unaware of not hurting each other. A bit of "accidental boofo" is good for them I recon. Gabriel had a habbit of crawling upto and screaming (in delight) right in the face of other kids.. until one of the others at Play Group (the only girl) screamed right back at him. Similarly he's learning not to poke eyes and pull hair. :o Lukily there are twins in my Mum's group/Play Group..and so their mum is used to them pulling at each other so is more relaxed about other kids exploring her little ones as well. As a result we are all a bit more relaxed and so the kiddlets are learning fast from each other.
Reminds me I need to look up the Play Group Assoc and join as I want to borrow toys from the toy library. Walkers are so expensive and they only use them such a short period, I'm going to try and borow one, as well as I know they have the Little Tykes stuff. G was playing for ages in a little Tykes "shop" today at the library.
MOS google the Playgrop Assoc. They will have details of local grops near you. Often they are held in little halls or local meeting rooms. If there's a Community House near you , then they may have one too. Play Group Assoc also have different events like Teddy Bears Picnics and BBQ's etc. So you dont have to worry about having to have people over. They also have local toy librarys and some places even havs a mobile Toy Bus.

Tiggles -Yay about the car :smiliedance:
Babywez -Good luck for tonight :hugs:
Woohoo! Sending you a PM now re the details of our meet.

Thanks for the PM. Can't wait :smiliedance:
C38 -gave some good ideas with playgroup. Yeah, it's not like a mothers group that you have at home, it's at a hall or somewhere similar each week, you just go along. They're all different though. Some are quite structured, others like ours are very flexible.
If you feel like coming out to Rouse Hill on a Tuesday morning, you can come to mine if there's any spots.
Poor little man, I took him to Rock and Rhyme this morning and didnt realise in my rush I'd left him in superman mode (All in one suit crutch buttoned over his tracky dakkies) until I saw the look given by one of the other Mums there.....
 That's how Chais goes to bed.
MOS -The library at Rouse Hill also does this on a Monday & Wednesday.
There's also a toy library at Castle Hill & Baulkham Hills, if you wanted to hire anything.
 about superman mode. Is that so trackies stay on?
Hope this works.

 SUPERMAN!!! Oh I get it now!
Thanks for the playgroup suggestions ladies. Will check them out soon.
And k8y, I lightly toast the bread before I make is sandwiches so they don't go soggy!

Yes to keep his trousers on when he crawls. He's some pics I took this morning while he was watching tv in his chair while I vacuumed. You can see the "superman". I did take the daggy blue top off for a red jacket, shoes and socks.. So he looked ok...apart from the non matching superman undies...:laughing:
He's so cute c38! Love his chair too.
Love the vid and photo Kotakai and c38.
re the car, now we just need to find some money to but it:laughing:
Hope this works.

He is so clever!! Don't worry, I don't think ANY of us particularly like our voices on these stupid video recorders!!
The superman thing is very cute and C38, love the chair! I went to KMart today but no kids chairs anywhere to be found :(
Well I'm starting to get a bit nervous about tonight. I haven't been to a counsellor in about 12 years and I'm not sure what to expect or how it will go. Then I get anxious, then I get mad, b/c I remember WHY we're going and think I wouldn't have to go if he'd just talked to me in the first place!!
MOS at least you had the excuse of being "young and stupid" and you learned your lesson and will never do it again. What's DH's excuse? "Old and stupid"? "Male and stupid"? Oh well. Hope it helps anyway.
C38 he's SO CUTE! Made me laugh out loud.
And yes, babywez, "Male and stupid" will do. Best of luck tonight. :hugs:
Well done Chais! :yelclap: He's such a cutie!

Kotakai - Well done Chais - very clever! :yelclap: lol, he is sooo cute - and looks so pleased with himself and newfound ability :goodvibes:
C38 - what a bl00dy brilliant idea! lol... you know, I don't think I would have thought of that :cool: Gabe is just gorgeous, as usual... I love your boys eyes.. and lashes, my gosh, the lashes. What I wouldn't give!
Tiggles - brilliant deal with the car! I'm patiently waiting the day DP decides that it's time to buy me my own again...
Babywez - more :hugs: and :goodvibes: for tonight.
Well im in a pooh mood today. DH and by DH i mean d head! had a stupid tiff last nite over absolutely nothing important - taking the dogs outside!!!! SO dumb but without going into the stupid details im so friggen frustrated! No wonder ppl turn friggen gay - at least they would get help around the house!!
Ok rant over!
Maddie slept for an hour and a half this morning so alot better than the last 2 days. THen she carried on like a porked chop this avo, so i put her in the car, went to woolies, came back, she pooed, and now is fast asleep. Like seriously, she carried on like that cos she had to poo?!?!? Man!
hahah at superman, I havent even gotten maddie out of her pjs today, couldnt be bothered!! Does anyone here us a sleeping bag at nite? They are so good, and keep bubs warm and you dont have to worry about them kicking their blankets off. I think thats why they cry at nite sometimes.
Will check out the vids and pics later on, just gonna finish getting dinner organised while maddie is asleep.
Oh and we got a roller shutter put on her window today, so hopefully it will block out the sun but also our noisy neighbours kids!!
Talk later on
WOHOO!!! Sam and I are going to Brissy from next Thurs, 7th May to the Monday, 11th. :smiliedance:
My mum has Sun/Mon off and my sister has Sat/Sun off. Is anyone free on the Friday? :)

I'm glad you all liked the stickers in Kirillys room. For those that asked I got them from a website called forwallsdecor and then add .com. I got Michael a jungle theme for his room just from Adairs. But I saw the best stickers of a jungle theme from a website called ******* pronto. It has a branch with a monkey and a tucan and a spider. Then there is a lion on the ground. Wish I had seen that before I got the adairs stickers.
The only thing to watch out for with the stickers is that toddlers peel them off. So anything that can't be placed high up will be peeled off or drawn on.
Morning!
We have counselling tonight. I said to DH last night that it bugs me that this whole thing doesn't appear to be bothering him too much. I hope all goes well for you tonight. I think what your husband is feeling is probably typical for a lot of dads. Hopefully this councillor is experienced in family councelling to be able to help you both get through this rough time. I had a really bad councillor at the beginning of the year who told me it was my fault my daughter was out of control rather than it being typical of her age. I tell you what I got so mad I never went back again but imagine if I had believed her.
Can't type anymore I'm being pulled away by a 2 year old that should be in bed. Night night.:hair:

looks like my website got beeped out. For anyone that is interested PM and I will forward it on to you.
WOHOO!!! Sam and I are going to Brissy from next Thurs, 7th May to the Monday, 11th. :smiliedance:
My mum has Sun/Mon off and my sister has Sat/Sun off. Is anyone free on the Friday? :)
Don't forget you have a dr's appt on the 8th.
And do you realise that's Mother's Day?
I'm so jealous you get to meet the Brissy girls.
Hi all, just a really quick one from me. Am off to bed, so bloody tired, as usual. And it doesn't help that I practically cried my eyes out for the whole hour of counselling.
BUT, it was really good. We've made 2 more follow-up appointments for next week and 2 weeks after that, before we leave. I think it so helpful to have someone who knows what questions to ask, and where to take the conversation etc. and someone who is impartial and on both your sides to help you understand what each other is going through. Boy, I know we've only done an hour, but I think anyone who wants a divorce should have to sit through at least one session together!
Really have to get some sleep. Thank you all SO MUCH for your thoughts and support and encouragement. You all are the greatest. :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

MOS NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :hissy: that is the weekend I am in Maroochydoore!
I am back on Sunday afternoon. Can we do Monday
bonbon :hugs: help around the house? what is that lol.
Yes we always use sleeping bags here. No way we could keep blankies on Sums during the night, she gets all over the place, up, down, sideways, corners. They are the best!
Thinking of you babywez.
It's cold tonight.
Sums is still not really over her original ear infection. Took her to docs today and is on antibiotics. Only her second round, as the doc is very cautious in giving her too much.
Plus she said her throat is red, looks like another cold coming. So frustrating. She just gets over them, and another one keeps hitting her.
Am thinking of keeping her from CC for a couple of weeks to help get her immune system back on track rather then just getting it back halfway, and then getting hit again. Particularly if this swine flu turns out to be an issue. If it does, I am keeping her from CC until the threat is passed.
Poor Summer, ear infections are yukky.
Exciting about your trip to QLD MOS. Where in Tas does your mum's Bf have land??
Babywez:goodvibes: Glad the session went well... even if you did cry the whole time. Fantastic that you are having another 2. It's a really positive thing that your DH went, a lot of men wouldn't have.
Oh, Gabe's chair came from the reject shop. They have them every now and again for $50. red or blue, plus couches. The only thing is that they are a bit slippery. But I feel for the colour. I've had a RED thing, since I became pregnant.
Tiggles; that's great about the new car.
Katoaki: OMG he is SO cute paddling along...he looks too tiny to be walking..:D
Ems I can't take all the credit for the superman idea. When I was pregnant I remember my neighbour came over with her little gilr who was a crawler at that time, and she had her onsie over her trousers. I must admit at the time I thought it a bit..hmmm. But haveing spent days chasing G round with his trousers and giving up on them, until its got cold... I finally realised WHY she had her dressed like that..:D
Thanks for the nice comments.. I think he's pretty cute...LOL
Daisy Boo it's interesing that that website turns to stars, as they are one of the sponsers...er advertisers here on BubHUb... add is flashing to my right as I type.

Hello..................
K8y....:goodvibes: What a lovley thing to say,I am busy with the boys/bodyshop/playgrps/housework/haircuts...etc.......so its not leaving me a lot of time to get on here anymore :( poor Summer ear infections are horrible,I hope Casey's ear's are ok he was pulling at them tues & let out these almighty crys but may have just been tired,or teething....its so hard to know whats wrong, ear infections usually come with temps dont they(C38?) as Casey has been fine no cold or anything....any more exam results that I have missed?
C38...I love that chair where is it from????? Mr G is sooooooooooooo cute! we have to meet up for a coffee  when do you start back at wrk?
MOS....I got some huggies a while back that had little booklers(tear off the side) you could collect them & get a free tent or something but I looked and nothing this time....How's the I'Ls :hugs:......Yippee wish I could meet you all :crying:hahaha
Babywez....Im so glad it went well  its so good to talk things through.

Night night.
I also loved those pictures on the wall....I will have a look at that website too....just beautiful..see if there are any nice boys ones too:D

Talk later on
We use a sleeping bag  I have a Grobag & a Thick snug time one...its so chilly in Hobart....
I agree thats why they wake.....

Hi all
Some good news.
WOOHOO!!!!!!! Thats great Tiggles
Thats sounds really nice K8y very trendy,I cant wait to we do our kitchen up....so exciting!

Babywez - glad you felt the meeting was productive. And you deserve to have a good cry! Help release all the emotion you've been sitting on :hugs: Hope it just gets better hun.
K8y - Poor little Sums. At least you know by the time she hits school, she should hardly get sick  They told me when I started working CC, to expect to be pretty much continuously sick for the 5 years. Then I'd be home-free, apparently. Hope the antibiotics kick in quickly.
C38 - I've employed the superman(girl) suit this morning :D What a godsend - it's great not having to chase after her pulling up the trackies. Bright spark I am, not being able to think of that myself, lol
Oconky - I meant to say when you posted the other day - congrats for the equal highest marks! :yelclap: That's just wonderful! Clever cookie you are! And :hugs: for starting work on Monday... you all gee'd up for it?
MOS...seems the 8th is a busy day??
Not much here. My poor Mum's got to go for a colonoscopy this morning (she has very low iron and the Dr is checking she doesn't have bleeding polops (sp?) Mum maintains it's a waste of time as she would know if she was bleeding out her bottom, lol).
..............annnnnd, you girls probably didn't want to know any of that  Sorry. lol.
Okay. Whingey baby

:raspberry:Im hogging the thread!!!!!!!!!!!
Casey has been waking at night again  last night though he went through to 4.30am......I dont know why,its cold..we have the heater going he wears enough clothing, hmmmmmm maybe teeth? who knows...he hasn't cut anymore, maybe its just another development stage as he is becoming alot more independent, hates getting dressed(nappy etc) its so hard he fights me already.....
Any other bubs out there showing a bit of " personality" :D Casey is! very clingy sometimes, wants to be held alot(I know hes a baby) but he weighs 11.5kgs  he does sleep well during the day,so I want to know he is sooooooooooooo unhappy :hissy:by 6pm.....you can set ya watch on it.....so thats why he goes down so early(6.30pm) b/c he doesn't stop grizzling....as soon as hes in the bath he stops ...hehehe,he afternoon sleep is usually a good 2hours so im not sure why he gets so miserable? I gave him some extra milk(150ml) to see if that would make him calmer by 6pm but nope! still cranky......he has 250ml in the morning & last night he had 350ml before he went to bed drank it all....so does anyone think thats not enough & thats why he could be possibly waking at night? he eats alot(well in saying that is off breakfast except toast)but lunch is a yogurt & fruit custard/ or sandwich/fruit,rice crackers or whatever I may be eating(Hehe) then dinner is meat & veges(or something to that description) ....do you think he really needs that extra lunch time bottle???
Ok BBL im freeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzing! need a warm shower.
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr it's cold this morning.
I can't believe the fus on the Today show re the temp in Melbourne this morning, surley it's got down to 1deg in winter there heaps???
Re sleeping bags, Gabriel sleeps in a 2.5tog growsuit plus a flanelette sheet doubled over top then a woollen blanket, and sometimes a polar fleece one as well... But he till wakes:rolleyes:. 1am, then 4 lastnight.
Ems...Yay for Superbubs!!
Oconcky...yes,Hoorah for your results!!
Off to change a stinker:babydust2::babydust2:
Brrrrr it's cold here too :D
Re trackies, I got a great pair from Cotton On the other day. Summer has such a narrow waist that most trackies are too loose around her middle and fall down but these ones have a good fitted waist band and she crawls and climbs everywhere and they don't go anywhere  Now for her socks to stay on
BB no news yet on the one I did quite badly on. Bit worried about that one TBH. The next exam is when I'm in Maroochydore.
Might be teeth BB? it's so hard to know. Seems if it was ears he'd be unhappy during the day too?
oconky glad to hear Pip is doing better. It seems hard to get these ear infections to go away.
ems I know! Sums gets sick then I get sick. I feel I've been constantly fluey since she started way back in January
Best go ring CC and tell them she won't be there today. I don't think it's best she goes in today.
Well I'm battling a whinger this morning. She was climbing the couch and bashing my laptop, then we've been wrestling with the tv volume.....
I best get some 2.5togs now too. Sums is on the 1.0tog but with long sleeve onsies and trackies or tights. Getting cool enough up here for the 2.5tog now!
Hi girls! Im BACK
MAN WHAT HAVE I MISSED? PLEASE GIVE ME A SHORT UPDATE ON WHATS WHAT AND WHOS WHAT!
I HOPE EVERYONE REMEMBERS ME LOL!
Charlotte is walking EVERYWHERE. running even.
I miss you all!
STG - welcome back!
Hey, how much can we spend for the birthday pressies, Ive forgotten.
Babywez, glad the counseling went well.
re the trackies k8y, charlotte is skinny and tall so she has to have like a 00 size to fit her waist but that makes them too short :S
The $7 ones from big w are the best :D :D

Babywez - my heart goes out to you. The crying is a good thing. It allows you to release your pain and start to heal.
Kirilly used to get constant high temps (40ish) because her immune system was very low due to CC. Some drs would put her on antibiotics others wouldn't. Either way 3 times out of the months this would happen. I ended up taking her to the chiropractor and she has not had one high temp since then.
STG -Welcome back
Tiggles -I'm pretty sure it was $10

Just a quick one in case you ladies check here before FB or email,
DaisyBoo just sent you an email w/ both pictures in the invitation. Let me know which one you like best.
MyBabyQuinn...realised I don't have the party information to add to the invite yet, just email it to me and the invite is done.
Oconky, just let me know if the colour prints out ok and if it looks good I'll send you the final invite.
Thanks for being my first 3 "customers". If any of your invitees like the invites and are interested, feel free to pass along my email addy and have them contact me. It was fun designing your invites!
The phone range TWICE this morning and woke Nicklas up and so he is really cranky for not getting his usual 90 minute nap! Going to be a long rest of the day now. :(
:raspberry:Im hogging the thread!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm, well Maddie definetly has a huge personality already. And with the waking again, it has to be either, hunger, teeth/pain, or as you said could even be a new developmental stage that he is going thru. Maybe try ruling out hunger, he might be going thru a growth spurt? My child health nurse told me to ensure that I give Maddie enough carbs during the day cos they are moving around and burning it up etc, and that just fruit or veges isnt enough alone. Its like us just having an apple for dinner or some carrot for lunch or something, we would be hungry in an hour. And he is a big boy so he needs alot of food. Thats just my 2 cents worth. And you may not see any new teeth, but they could be moving under the gums and annoying him? Its so hard isnt it! Babies are so complex!!!! Just when you get them sorted, or so you think, they change. Hang in there !
Oh and Maddie gets cranky by 6 as well, but thats cos she doesnt sleep that well in the day, is he getting enough sleep in the morning? Could you perhaps push his avo nap later so that he is waking later??
Oh when he wakes in the nite, does he have a feed?? If he does, then thats a big clue that he might be hungry?
Re sleeping bags, Gabriel sleeps in a 2.5tog growsuit plus a flanelette sheet doubled over top then a woollen blanket, and sometimes a polar fleece one as well... But he till wakes:rolleyes:. 1am, then 4 lastnight.
:babydust2::babydust2:
hahha maybe hes too hot!?!?
re the trackies k8y, charlotte is skinny and tall so she has to have like a 00 size to fit her waist but that makes them too short :S
The $7 ones from big w are the best
I agree, Maddie is tall and not that big around her waist and they are perfect, and for $7 they are great, esp for just hanging around the house!
Well Maddie slept from 7.15pm last nite, woke at 10.30 for about 5 mins then woke at 6.30 for a feed, then slept till 8am. I feel great, its amazing what a good sleep does.
Well im working tonite, so going to go do some washing and grocery shopping and all that fun stuff, and will chat later on tonite, have a good day everyone!!

Thanks for that, very helpful :goodvibes: I will book her in at her chiropractor and see if that helps her
Why does Sums find my laptop so interesting?? Best go, she keeps pulling at the screen and moving the whole thing around, it's driving me mental :hair:

I was also going to say DH had an ear infection for a while and they never gave him antibiotics. Because it didn't go away the GP referred him to an ear, nose and throat specialist. Turns out by not giving him antibiotics he lost part of his hearing and can't get it back. I'm not saying this to scare you as Summer is being treated. I'm just saying it because some GP's have no idea.
Babywez - thankyou so so much. After everything you are going through you still have time to help us out.:hugs:

Wow thats gorgeous....:yelclap:I want a girl :hissy:
:laughing::laughing:
Awesome fairy pic Daisy - so pretty!
Don't forget you have a dr's appt on the 8th.
And do you realise that's Mother's Day?
I'm so jealous you get to meet the Brissy girls.
Yes I realise it's Mother's Day - thought it would be nice to see my mum on that day. DH pushed me to since Sam will still be with his mum. And I need to re-schedule my Dr's appointment too. Thanks for reminding me!
Brissy girls, are you all free on the Monday morning maybe somewhere near public transport? If not, don't stress as my mum will only have Sun/Mon off so I'll spend it with her. Would be nice to squish you ladies in though. :)
Well I found the phone I want on the plan I want at a 3 dealer. It turns out the dealers sometimes have better deals that the actual 3 stores. So I'm waiting for DH to get home so that we can do it. I just hope I can get approved with my very minimal income... My sister said homemakers get approved all the time so I hope she's right. It also works in my favour I'm CURRENTLY earning a rental income with no expenses for home, nothing owing on credit cards and I guess I can give a rough estimate on my work from home... also Centrelink earnings...
Speaking of which - WE GOT OUR RUDDY MONEY TODAY!!! :smiliedance:
Babywez it sounds like your session last night was well worth it. It's nice to know you're getting what you need to off your chest and it would be helpful having someone direct the conversation away from blaming (on both parts) and towards moving forward. It would be very hard in BOTH of your situations to get past the blame - you blame him for $crewing up (obviously and within your rights to) and he blames you for giving him what he needed in the first place (stupid man-nonsense!).
DH and I had an argument last night. I'm finding it very hard to get Sam to sleep at night. He's sooo tired but then the second he's in the room with us watching TV, etc he's wide awake and it's play time. I don't blame him but I'm not sitting in the lounge room all night watching Arabic TV so Sam can sleep and I kept on telling him it was only a month and I will then address the problem. I said "TOTU" to him as he's SO OFTEN said it to me... but alas he was still sh!tty WITH ME! He even said I should "stay home during the day and get him used to sleeping in his cot" to which I reminded him the day before when I had trouble getting him to sleep in his cot and he said to me "Why didn't you just take him for a walk in the pram?". Gggrrr! MEN! :banghead:
He did end up apologising though and I told him to just give me a few weeks and we'll sort it all out once we're in the unit.
Gotta go - DH on his way home and he's picking us up from the front of the house in a few mins to go and get these phones. He is going to get one too as we've been spending the money each month on pre paid anyway so we may aswell get more out of our $30. He had to grumble to me on the phone earlier though as I said he has to do it himself. He couldn't understand why he had to be there in person to organise a mobile phone ON CONTRACT! Idiot!

Its me! Should I change my name??? hahaha oh and its active little soles, similiar style of shoe though, just google it. Let me know if anything stands out to you, will give you mates rates. And you did make me laugh with the spam. Did you just get the internet again??
Oh they are SO CUTE!! You can hook me up when he outgrows the pair he is in now. I'm sure that won't take long! Do you have a baby shop or something? I think I must have missed that bit of information!
Hopefully I will be able to keep up this time.
hi there! I don't think I said hello before, sorry! DH is from newcastle and his outlaws are still living there (mayfield and hamilton) so we visit alot :) I love newcastle! The city, that is.. not the visiting the outlaws part.
Do you need any swimmer naps for Khirra? We've got stacks left over from summer that definitely won't fit next summer!
Does anyone else give their bubs swimming lessons? I can divide them equally. :) They're to fit 7-12kgs. The Mamia (aldi) brand.
Aaaaand i'll take my camera to the meet tomoz and then you can see my hair and all the bubsies!
Yaay so glad you are coming kotakai:) Will be great to see you and chais again
Keep meaning to join a playgrou pmyself. So nervous though ahh. Will do so when we move for Elliot's sake, but still.. so scary. Perhaps I can pretend to be mute or something.
We need a standalone oven for our new place. Aaaand we wanted tunnels from ikea and they'd sold out down here. Bum! Elliot LOVED the display one. He cried and cried when we yanked him away from it.
G was playing for ages in a little Tykes "shop" today at the library.
ewww sardines! hehe good suggestions though thank you hon! And your poor neck :( I am a good masseuse if you can get a cheap ticket to sydney
Your poor mama! Hope everything is okay
I just wanted to show you something else I have in Kirilly's room. It's a beautiful fairy painting that my mum made for her.

daisy boo that is beautiful!!
Are you coming to the meet tomorrow?
Who IS coming tomorrow? I'm soe xcited! And I just can't hide it no no no no no.. I'm about to lose control and I think I like it.. oh yeaaah
okay sorry about that. Lost the plot a bit, methinks!
Who was it who was going to be the herbalife person? Was that you Ingi?? Can you do it while you are BFing? Hm. I need to lose some weight before we start TTC again and I'm getting kinda desperate.
Not much happening here. So cold tody we have been hiding inside at mum's, far away from all of my house work. Boo to house work.
DH not home yet, not sure where he is. Hmm.
Does anyone else's bub want to carry something all the time? Elliot always has his hands full with what we call a 'security item' as it is different ever day. Some days a toy shovel, some days a coat hanger, some days a toothbrush. You get the idea. He sleeps holding it and everything. Weeeird.
And 28 IMAGES?? Disabling!

lol thats sooo cute.
Umm im trying to think, she often has something, but not always, she has a toy car she sits in, she carries her item, opens the car door, puts the item in the car seat, tries to get into it beside it.. shuts the door. its very sweet. its often the remote control

It is cute! Although the coathanger is the worst as he always pokes me in the eye with it or lifts up my skirt. Hmm. And that is SO CUTE about the remote!! It's like.. her friend. She's going to drive it to the park or something! hehehe adorable

Wow thats gorgeous....:yelclap:I want a girl :hissy:
:laughing::laughing:
But boys love their mummy so much whereas girls are independant and leave their mums.
daisy boo that is beautiful!!
Are you coming to the meet tomorrow?
Unfortunately not hun. Fridays are my worst day. The kids have music classes that day at 10.30am.
Mmm came on her to say something and now can't remember. Oh that's it MOS I got a letter from medicare saying that all of Michael's immunisations were up to date. They wouldn't have received my letter yet. Thought that was quite wierd.
Has anyone seen the website smilebox? You can do so many things with your photos. Make cards and scrapbooks. It's awesome.
I could probably meet in Brissie somewhere Friday morning. MOS what time is your flight Mon? Friday arvo is our second counselling session so I couldn't do Friday. Hope we can work something out! Can't come all that way and NOT see us MOS!
I have one of those things in my mouth that once you bite it you can't stop biting it. Grrr.
Daisy - doing the invites helps keep my mind off everything else and I really enjoy it. So its my pleasure to do them :)
Hope you girls have fun tomorrow, can't wait to see pics!
I can do Monday. Whatever, whenever, wherever, we are free :D
stg not this coming Monday, but the next one.
Daisy Boo I agree. I think bubs need a paed all the time, not just a GP lol...
Not much here today. Did some uni work. Am thinking of starting a business, so a bit of research on that. Would still be many months away and just more of a hobby to start, but just getting the logistics looked at now, because it involves cooking from home, so lots of regulations  wanted to make sure if I needed kitchen done in any particular fashion while we are renovating etc...
YAY! :smiliedance: I got the Nokia Navigator phone. I will never be lost again.. aaahhh. :D
stg I am up in Brissy from next Thurs, 7th to Mon 11th. Friday would be best for a meet but a quick coffee somewhere Mon morning could be a possibility if everyone else is free then and not on Friday.
So k8y can do Mon but not Fri, babywez can do Mon but ony Fri morning. How about ems, stg and tiggles? My flight Mon is around 2:30 but I'd like to spend as much of the day with mum as possible.
GTG grumpy baby and new phone to play with! :D
Friday morning would be pushing it b/c our counseling is almost to Brisbane so that would be 2 trips to Brissie in one day for me (I'm about an hour south of Bris). MOS are your mum and sister on the Sunshine Coast or Brisbane?
We are watching "Shooter" with marky mark. He is hot. ok GTG.
I could probably meet in Brissie somewhere Friday morning. MOS what time is your flight Mon? Friday arvo is our second counselling session so I couldn't do Friday. Hope we can work something out! Can't come all that way and NOT see us MOS!
Now can you see why I got the wrong idea?! OK so Mon is best for you two then. Mum's in Cleveland. Ems, Tiggles, stg, could any of you make it Mon? Would need public transport local... :D
babywez, Mark Wahlberg is my fav! I too remember him from his "Marky Mark" days. :o Although there was one movie where he was SO not hot - where he was a cop... can't remember.
Only took Sam half an hour to get to sleep. Yes, on my lap but it's an improvement. He had 3 naps today as his second one was cr@ppy so he had another short one from around 4:30 to 5:30. It did the trick as he was not too tired but just tired enough by 8:30. I'd rather he go down at 7 though...
Oh and I think BB asked where mum's BF has the land - not sure but it's apparently in the middle of nowhere, about 40 mins drive from Hobart. Could be anywhere, eh?! Real STICKS!
why does there have to be a flu pandemic just as Im about to go back to work:hair: Funny those kind of things never bothered me somuch before I had Gabe.
Boring day here..it was so cold we stayed home by the heater. Good news is I got stimulated today..:).. So am geting a new heater..one that wont cost $10-$18 day to keep us toasty

Lambkin, don't be scare of PlayGroup. I was so busy playing with Gabriel the first big one we went to I didnt talk to anyone anyhow...:DAnd thik of all the messy stuff they get to do, that doesnt get spread all over your place. I was even brave and went to Kinder Gym this week. Again I barely spoke to any adults..was too busy having aball with Gabriel.
LOL sorry MOS. I was wondering why you said I could do Friday morning! Don't mind me.
I think I know the movie you're talking about w/ him being a cop. He's a bad cop in it, isn't he? The boy has muscles. Wheeeew.
Off to bed. Goodnight :)
I can do Monday. Whatever, whenever, wherever, we are free :D

Ohhh what kind of business would it be? It is exciting starting a business up, I know of a great site where you can get FREE business cards. Hope it all works out!
Lambkin - yes i own an online store, just went and bought it this year cos i wanna work from home, and once it takes off fully i can quit working damn nite shifts!!
MOS your so lucky getting to go on a mini holiday! And good timing with the krudd money - where the hell is my money! I think i will be the last person to get it! Oh and dont u love how the DH's become experts on putting babies to sleep grrr
Babywez - sounds like the counselling is going to be good you think?? Did you find it thru relationships australia?
I really want to take Maddie to playgroup and i did ring up and get the details of a few in my area but they all start at 9.30, which is when maddie usually goes down for her nap. I dont really want her to skip her morning naps, she is hard enough to get to sleep and she does pretty well with the morning one. And she may be fine once we r there are there are kids everywhere, or knowing my luck she will be grizzly and rubbing her eyes and yawning and i will look like the worst mum hahhaaa.
Awww you are all going to bed and Im only just getting started! Am i the only Perthian here???
BonBon you might be the only perthian and you're up all night while we all sleep! Sorry we're not around to keep you company more1
Yes, found the counselling through Relationships Australia but we couldn't get in on the coast until June 5th! So we're driving 40 minutes each way to a south BNE office. And now that we've gone once, it would be a waste of a whole session to start over with someone else. I'm hoping we'll only need a few sessions anyway. We'll see.
So last night I'm laying in bed trying to go to sleep, and had a feeling in my stomach that felt EXACTLY like a baby kicking! It freaked me out!! I mean, for a baby to be in there and kicking I'd have to be what, 20+ weeks PG? So it can't possibly be. It just didn't feel like normal stomach movements, IYKWIM. It felt like a great big kick. Then a few minutes later I felt something else, but that could have been regular stomach movements. And I haven't felt anything since. I might get a test today just to be sure but really, what are the chances? 1%??? I haven't felt a tummy movement like that since I was PG and he was kicking me.
Oh well, Friday of a long weekend! Yay! :smiliedance:

Casey stirred & woke again.....gave him a bottle(150ml) he then went back to sleep.....Jacob also woke  so I gave him a milo then he wanted to hop into my bed so I slept in his bed....maybe he was cold....I wasn't that warm in his room, will buy him another doona today......we have heater going but I still found it cool so maybe thats why he woke....so another nights broken sleep here.
Not sure whats up with Casey like you said Maddie may just be his teeth moving under the gums,he inly has a couple of spoonfuls of his weeties/porridge & some toast which he perfers.
He loves fruit custard or any custard so im sure if i gave him that he would eat it for breakfast:cool:....but I dont want to,too sweet i think.
Anyhoo hes not fading away hes a big boy...:p

Morning all!!
MOS, Im jealous of your new phone..how do the navigators work, do they connect to the net or is it all through the phone provider and is it expensive to use.
Wont be able to make Monday as Dd1 has school, so not enough time to drive to Brissy and back, I would literally be in Brissy for an hour or so and have to turn back.
MGS - hello and welcome if I havent said before.
bonbon - if you dont mind me asking how did you go about buying an online business, m just being nosey.
hi everyone:wave:

LOL sorry MOS. I was wondering why you said I could do Friday morning! Don't mind me.
I think I know the movie you're talking about w/ him being a cop. He's a bad cop in it, isn't he? The boy has muscles. Wheeeew.
Off to bed. Goodnight
Yeah it's the one with Matt Damon where they greet each other with "Go F*** you mother", etc! Good movie though. I like Matt Damon too! :D
MOS, Im jealous of your new phone..how do the navigators work, do they connect to the net or is it all through the phone provider and is it expensive to use.
Well it's a GPS, so it connects to the satellites - no internet connection needed. You get a voice which guides you for 3 months then it expires. You can then purchase it from Nokia or the guy said if you're handy with the internet you can find it for free. I can still view the maps though and I am yet to set up my 3 free months' voice navigation. Will use it next Wed to visit a friend at her new place so will activate the night before. I always get lost so I can't wait!
This morning was nice. It was a pleasure to meet you magick33 . And nice to see oconky, lambkin & kotakai again. :goodvibes: Got some pics but I think only of babies climbin over each other, fighting for water bottles, etc, etc... Will set up a new album on FB a little later and set so only you hubbers can see.

whats freaky is ive had the same thing a couple times. but I cant be pregnant because havent had sex - well.. 2 weeks ago first time since conception doesnt count lol -
Maybe we are more conscious of that feeling cause we've felt it before.. but pre pregnancy if we got a funny tummy we wouldnt of thought of baby movements cause we havent experienced it..
but yeah it weirded me out when its happened to me.. made me wanna baby tho!
:D Woo-Woooooo STG GOT LUCKY!!! :yelclap:
Well it appears most people are available Monday rather than the Friday and I'd rather see as many people as possible. We haven't heard from ems about it yet...? And what about Flick82? Sorry I forgot about you earlier.
I too have felt fantom kicks. I have also had some nasty pains and cramps over the last 2 weeks and what I thought was some slight spotting yesterday (when I say slight I mean REALLY slight so not sure)... I wonder if I'm going to O soon... probably not.
Forgot to say earlier it was fun to see Chais and Elliott walking around today - very cute! :goodvibes:

Thanks for the meet up this morning girls. Can't believe how cute they all were playing together, toddling/crawling around! Adorable! Although I am glad I do not have quints. Sorry had to leave early. Elly belly was super tired and fell asleep before we'd even got out of the carpark and slept aaall the way home, yeeha.
I feel phantom kicks too! It's so bizarre. I wonder why that happens?? Elliot has a new security item for the day - a rubber spatula. He is dribbling all over the place and still whinging even after his nap. Maybe another toooth coming? Who knows.

bonbon can you pm me the website for your business? Would much rather buy off of you than a stranger if I need things!
Wish I had read about all the other phantom kickers b4 I spent money on a pregnancy test!
I suppose stranger things have happened and its not entirely out of the question, although AF hasn't returned, but I assumed that was b/c of the BF even though I only do that about twice a day now. Maybe I'll take a test anyway, just to be sure.
Another pooey nappy awaits me - he always does them just after daddy has left for work and just before nanna is due to get here (but not close enough to let it wait long enough for her to change it!)
it was good to see you all today woo hoo. Chais and El look so little to be walking but it was very cool to see.
sorry haven't been on for a couple of days been busy.
babywez- sorry did not get a chance to print it out uggh!!! not at home til tomorrow night so will do it then.
wtg stg:laughing:
smo3  at the toilet rolls was going to ask you about that!!
nothing much going on here, just busy getting ready for work and trying to spend time with DH and Pip and study!!
anyway off to the gym now..catch you all soon

You might as well, babywez! I've taken a few 'just in case' ones since Elliot was born.
And I hear you on the pooey nappies. Always seems to be as we are getting in the car and am running late that I get a whiff..
Sister and I have a theory about the phantom kicks (she gets them too). We think maybe everything is just so stretched out in there that it's like.. the uterus flapping in the wind. Obviously our theory is scientifically based :P

My sister put Elliot in a dress (don't ask) and he looks like one of those chimps that walk around in the tutus, swaying from side to side. hehehe I am amused!

Hey ladies,
Just a quick one as I've got to run around like a mad thing getting a few things done before DP gets home. Took Khirra to the beach...well, the bay (Sandgate, for the Brissy girls) for a play today, so wasted a fair bit of time :D She deserved it though, we haven't done anything too exciting so far this week.
MOS - the Monday will be fine for me :yelclap:
Babywez - Yep, phantom kicks here too. Although, that being said, I felt Khirra kick at 11weeks. A definate little tiny boot... gosh I was excited that day :goodvibes:
MOS - have you tried Optus with that phone. DP has had the Nokia GPS for about a year now, on the $49 cap, and he gets it for free... the voice has never been cut off or anything?
Lambkin - that's a lovely offer with the swimmer nappies, thanks  I'd send you the stuff for postage though.... and see if the other girls want to cash in too :D
Okay, better run. Gotta run to the Dr this evening too and get a prescription for my asthma preventitive... had an attack at 4.30am this morning  Haven't had one in years.
Have a good night!

Hey ladies,
Just a quick one as I've got to run around like a mad thing getting a few things done before DP gets home.
I shall make a proper announcement.
ladies if any of your bubs go to swimming lessons at the moment, I have probably 25 swimmer nappies left over from Summer that we shall not be using. Please PM me if you want some and I'll divide them equally between you guys. They are to fit 7-12kgs. They are the Mamia brand in Small.
Thaaank you! Don't want to waste them and the postage isn't a big deal. all good. x
Well Sam had ONE huge nap today after missing his morning one but literally fell asleep during dinner. So I skipped his bath, quickly changed his nappy and got him into his PJ's and he was in bed by 6:30. Let's see how long it lasts...
I am sooo happy you guys have also done tests - especially lambkin with "a few" - WOW! I've only done the one but I often get feelings, like the bad cramping the last few days, fantom kicks, etc and I wonder... But I bought a pack of 3 tests last time as there were no single ones but I've still got 2 of them there. I can't bring myself to do anymore... you've made me feel better (as usual!) lambkin! :hugs:
And "uterus flapping in the wind"?... LOVE IT!

No, I've just got the phone I wanted with 3 on the $29 cap and I'll get a $5 credit each month plus $5 internet too (because my sister works for them) so it's a good deal. I don't want to spend anymore than that at all. And I don't mind having to find another way to get the voice guide software after a few months. I'll figure it out. Thanks anyway...
And yay, so shall we say we'll meet on Monday morning, 11th May? What time and where now? I really need it to be near public transport and preferably somewhere near some shops so I can maybe tell my mum to have a wander for an hour or so. She won't mind that if you guys don't mind my time being limited. My might thank me for that afterwards! :D
DH got grumpy with me tonight because after my full on day I came home and started doing the ironing and completely forgot it's Friday night, when I normally cook something nice for him. He was looking forward to it and I forgot the IL's were going out until they were out the door... so he said he gets grumpy when he's hungry and he's STARVING. Anyway I told him to get something from the fridge but he wanted MY cooking. In a way I'm flattered... and I feel bad. But he went and got KFC which we've not had in YEARS - Would be roughly 2 years since the last time. Best get going as it's here now and I'd rather it warm! :D BBL.

I've set it up so that only those I have selected can view them. I've selected only hubbers who we've heard from lately so if I've missed and you want to view them, just send me a message.
I tagged the mums rather than typing the baby's names in but you get the drift!
Hey, isn't MBQ in Brissy also? You free Min 11th too? :D
Good night all.

Well seems like you guys have a great meet, i wished i lived in syd sometimes!
Lambkin - i sent you a PM
Nothing really exciting here, worked nights, came home, maddie only had an hour this morn and then 20 MINUTES this avo. grrrrr. But she wasnt really grumpy so who knows.
Was in bed by 6.30 though.
She has been giving the thumbs up lol, i dont know where she learnt it from cos i never do it to her. so cute. And she can wave and yell bye and also say ta. But sometimes she gets confused and says pa. And the funny thing is that she says it in the exxact same tone that i say it to her. Kids really are little sponges.
Morning all!!
bonbon - if you dont mind me asking how did you go about buying an online business, m just being nosey.
Ebay!! They have some really good home based businesses on there and smaller businesses. The minute I saw it, I wanted it. So thats how that came to be.
Anyhow Im so tired, got another 12 hours ahead of me but i cant be bothered typing, might go watch some tv.

Casey woke @ 1ish last night I just let him cry it out.....he first woke cooing & talking  so I very much doubt it was his teeth, anyway I went downstairs gave him some water & his blankie as he loves to suck on that, then I went back upstairs, another half went by still grizzling,I left him again by this time he was crying(i start to get anxiety:no:)I was so tempted to make a bottle up but I knew now thats what he wanted & im not getting into the habit of that....so in the end i think after a couple of hours had gone by he fell asleep,I must have too b/c i dont remember hearing him stop crying......he eats enough during the day, well he is offered enough food he just doesn't always eat it....im sure two bottles a day is enough 500/600mls,morning & night....Im starting him on about 50ml of cows milk to have after his lunch as the other day i gave him some & he loved it....I'll drop the yogurt as it might be too much on his tummy...he still chucks a bit especially when he has fruit custards & yogurts together.......
C38 :hugs:Hope you get some much deserved rest today.
MOS  Great pics thanks for that,it makes me a little sad though as im so far away & may never meet you all :hissy:
