Homeopathic Immunisation - just a reminder that there's another option too.

Hi all,

Just a quick post reminding everyone that there's another option if you're at all concerned about the possible dangers of immunsation.

Homeopathic immunisation.

I was homeopathically immunised as a child (after the needle broke halfway through one of my first vax and even with that much I still turned blue and was incredibly ill for a week)and I have never had any of the diseases I was immunised for, despite being exposed to them many many times, even spending the two days previous to my ex getting chickenpox with him (and the day that he got them).

Homeopathic immunisation, if it's done right, has pretty much no risks and all the benefits.

When I had my son I spoke to my Doctor for his opinion and he admitted that in 20 years of practice he has spoken to a LOT of people who have been homeopathically immunised and not one of them has ever had any of the diseases they were immunised against. While many people immunised medically have.

I find your experiance interesting and posative which is a nice change for something posted in this section!
I have been aware of hemeopathics for a while my sis is a naturopath so I know a little bit about it (well prob a bit more than most people) LOL.
I have tried it once but I was very young so I didnt really have much of a concept of what was going on.
I am extremely disturbed by the current vaccination program! I have heard so many reports of adverse reactions (my sister and dp included)...
I am more disturbed by the vaccinations than I am of most of the alignments.
The more I research these viruses and illnesses though, the less concerned about the illness I become and the more distressed I feel about the vax!
So I will be trying homeopathics I think as each illness arises :) and supporting my dd's system naturally
HEALTH IS THE ONLY IMMUNITY :)

I'm really interested in hearing your story too. I really wish there was more out there on the effectiveness of Homeopathic prophylaxis to help us all to decide on the best course of action for our kids. Not to hijack the thread, but if anyone else is using homeopathic 'immunisation' I'd love to hear your stories too!:D

My DD is being homeopathically 'vaccinated'. After much research and discussion with people on both sides of the vaccination 'debate', and given the reaction my son has had to vaccines, we decided not to vaccinate DD. This was/is a difficult decision, but deciding to use homeopathy as an alternative has helped me to feel like I am doing what is best for my family. My hubby and I are also going to go down this route, as will DS as his traditional boosters become due.

I use homoeoprophylaxis on my DS and DD and have since both were newborn. DS is 5 and DD 4 months.

DS recently contracted Whooping Cough, so obviously he wasn't fully covered by the homoeopathics. It was quite mild, so perhaps his immune system was helped along by the homoeopathics - who really knows?

I will continue to give HP for the diseases which scare me - helps me feel like I'm doing something as I am a non-vaxer otherwise.

I have given him (and will give her) the HP against Pertussis, Polio, Meningococcal, Tetanus, Pneumococcal, HIB. I haven't bothered with Measles, Mumps, Rubella or Chicken Pox.

The person who has done the most study on HP in Australia is Isaac Golden.

Thanks for the link Harriet. I've never actually looked into HP for my DD but I have several friends who say great things about it.

My DD is vaccine free and has an all natural immune sytem (which I would like to keep that way) but if one day I let "big pharma" scare me too much, I will consider HP as an alternative :thumbsup: :D

I want to give a big congrats to anyone who is considering alternatives to vaccination or even non-vax because there is so much scare stuff out there.

An interesting note I just thought I'd mention. My Dr, who is pro homeopathics and natural medicine generally apparently got a "watch it" letter from the AMA because he's been signing a lot of consciencious objection letters.

Hi there,
We are homeopathically immunising too!
We have 2 girls - 4yo and 2yo and they LOVE their little tablets! lol
We have been exposed to measles, whooping cough and chickenpox and they haven't contracted any of the diseases. :)
My friend is a naturopath and has seen MANY children on the program and thinks it's fantastic!
