When did I conceive?

So I have just done a test this morning as for the last week on 2 occassions I have thrown up after breakfast (we are TTC).

But I can't tell when I conceived as I don't think it was this month and last month I had my period.

January
> Period 10th to 16th

No Period Feb -Tested Negative :bfn:
> DTD 4th, 9th, 14th
> I think I ovulated around 25th, 26th, 28th, 1st Mar

March
> DTD 8th
> Period 14th to 19th
> Felt sick 28th,
> DTD 30th
> I think I ovulated around 30th 31st, 1st, 2nd Apr
> Felt sick 31st

April
> DTD 6th
> :barf:15th
> Brown mucus discharge
> DTD 18th Slight Pink discharge
> 20th, 21st Period Pain like sensations. No bleeding
> :barf: 22th
> Tested today 23rd :bfp:


When I think I ovulated does not match up to when we Did the Deed...?

I started to feel sick at the end of march but had my period and felt sick before we DTD and ovulated???

I really dont have a clue and can't work out when I might have been...?

Any thoughts?

Hi there, it's a bit hard to say, especially if you have an irregular cycle, but I'd say you ovulated around the last couple days of March or the first couple days in April, and you said you DTD March 30th. That cycle sounds to me like it may have about 31-34 days. That would make you about 5 weeks or so pregnant. Some HPT's can take a while to show a positive as some tests are a little more sensitive then others. The only way to really know is to get a blood test and they may be able to tell how far along you are by your HCG levels, also if you say that you're unsure, as you're cycle has been a little messed up then they may send you for an ultrasound so find out how far along you are.

yep with it being so irregular the dr should send u for a dating scan.

It's hard to tell. Could be even the 8th of March, although it doesn't seem quite right either. Just cause you had AF doesn't mean you weren't pregnant.

You definitely need to see your GP for organising an ultrasound - it's too hard to tell.

See what gets me is I felt sick before the day we DTD which could have been the time of Conception in March. So that even though late March looked like the best time to conceive, I could have been than (but when is the question).

But yes my periods have been irregular since coming off the pill in Nov 08, I have also found it hard sometimes to judge when I have been getting EWCM so my ovulation times could be incorrect too???

I have heard some people can have a "normal" period once they have conceived...so as I had no period Feb, I could of misjudged when I had EWCM. As I remember it was hard that month to figure it out.

I will wait another few days to test again as I had one strong positive line and one faint line.


Than maybe in a week or so go to the doctor for bloodwork/scan.
