View Full Version : Henry's birth: Who said 2nd labours were easier????

Will write more another time, but just wanted to announce the birth of Alice's little brother, Henry Maxwell.

After expecting an easier birth, i was shocked to experience a longer, more painful and more stressful one than my first :eek: but... all's well that ends well!!

Specifications are:

Mass - 4.21kg (9 pounds 3 ounces)

Head circumference - 39.5cm (ouch!! - not one of the words used by me at the time :eek: )

Length - 56cm

Arrive time - 2.20am, Sunday 11 June 2006 at the RBWH (2 days early)

Extrusion time - 10 hours (no extrusion impact reducing drugs deployed)

After some time in Special Care due to overheating, the new model (and parent model) fully functional.

Now that we have one of each version of this device, we have put a hold on all future orders!
