What do I do next??

Hey girls, I just found out yesterday after 3 HPT all BFP's:bfp:!!
Its very early days as yet,(I'm 17 DPO approx) but I'm not sure what to do now. Do I book a docs appoint? Or do a wait a couple of weeks? What happens at the first docs appointment, I'm pretty nervous about the next step on the medical side anyway.

Congratulations Mrs. B! How exciting for you!

Now that you have had a :bfp: my next step would be to make an appointment with your GP. They may/may not want to do a blood test to check your HCG levels and confirm pregnancy. You may also need othet bloods to check blood type, Rubella etc, if you have not done this pre-conception.

If you are gonna go with a Private OB, the GP will need to give you a referral. Once you have the referral, ring the OB's office ASAP to make an appointment as they are often very busy/full!

When choosing an OB, just ask friends/family who have had babies if they have any recommendations?

If you choose to go public, just ring the hospital of your choice and let them know that you are however many weeks pregnant you are and they will make an appointment for you and tell you where to go from there!

It's all very daunting I know, but it just keeps getting even more exciting from here, trust me!
