Want to be a Blogger for Playgroup Australia?
Here’s your chance! Playgroup Australia wants 4-5 writers to blog about playgroup and parenting for our new micro website launching in mid 2009. This site will be aimed at parents aged 18-30 and although it’s not necessary for bloggers to be in that age-group, it would be great to have at least one younger mum or dad blogging! Blogs must be 200-300 words long and be the writer’s original work. Ideally, we want people to commit to writing 6 blogs in total and we need at least 2 blogs from every blogger by the end of May 2009, and then a minimum of 1 per month thereafter. Blogs should be funny, engaging, insightful and positive pieces that get people write comments online.
The Blog doesn’t have to be solely about playgroup, but it should be about parenting and raising young kids and make some mention of playgroup.
Here are some of the types of Blogs we’re looking for:
- New to playgroup
- A dad at playgroup
- Running a playgroup
- Our special needs/multicultural playgroup
- A young mum at playgroup
- Things my child and I learnt at playgroup (observations/new ideas)
- A funny thing happened at playgroup…
- Why playgroup rocks
