k i have a question? do u get a payment off the state government as well as the
federal government when u have a baby? i've heard this from a few people and just wondering if its true and if so where u find information about it?

You will get $4000 from the government if your baby is born after the 1st of July. If before, it is $3000. Depending on what your income is for this financial year as to whether you get parenting payment plus Family Tax Part A & Part B. Call the Family Assistance people to get information. The number is 131650. They will be able to help you.
