Brisbane baby shows

Just thought Id let Brisbane mums know The Cerebral Palsy League Of QLD runs regualar baby shows around Bris. Over the next few months they're doing the South side. Here's a list of some coming up-:smiliedance:

15-6 Logan City Tavern, Wemberly Rd, Logan Central
23-6 Browns Plains Hotel, Browns Plains Rd, Browns Plains (4 sids foundation)
13-7 Brothers Leagues club, Widley Rd, Raceview
30-7 Mt Gravatt Show grounds- (the flier says this show is for the show society & will be run differently than usual shows so if your interested in this one maybe email me & I will ring them &find out whats the go. I will ask if I can post theire number.)
10-8 Deception Bay Community Hall, Ewert st, Deception Bay

Thanks for that! Would you be able to let me know if you find out anymore on the Mt'Gravatt one as its the closest & the only one I'd be able to get to? :)

I rang up about the Mt Gravatt one & I was told that that it isn't to raise money for them they are just organizing it for the Mt Gravatt show. There will be 5 novelties & each will be $2. Thats a lot cheaper than the fundraising shows.
I didnt think to ask if it will be starting at the usual time but I assume she would have mentioned if it didn't.

I entered the show on the northside not that long ago! I couldn't be bothered going to the champion of champion show though! :p

They have tables along one wall of the room covered in toys divided into first, second & third & each child that places in one of the novelties gets to pick a toy as well as getting a trophy they also have big packs of Huggies nappies. The toys in the 1st prize section are pretty cool the little girl that was sitting across from me last time got a doll house.
The champion girl & boy get a hamper of stuff (nappies, fisher price etc') Plus a HUGE trophy.

I was wanting to enter my 9 month old baby girl in Browns Plains comp on 23/6 and since its our first show - i was wondering if you have any tips on what the show will be like? Also what should bub be dressed in etc etc
