my kids almost burnt the house down

i was outside having a smoke, dh was in the lounge room playing the sony, right next to him my dd's put tarot cards into the heater and turned it on.

i came inside and smelt burning paper, asked dh if they had turned the heater on, he was like i dont know, so i went in and there were 3 cards in there, 2 of which are just burnt paper now.

how could he not smell it:banghead:

oh well i guess its ok now at least i found it in time:rolleyes:

I took my hubbys in to cash convertors :laughing: but only on loan but it was because we were fighting, i will get it out one day soon...when he realizes that he should love me more then that damn thing!!!

My brother and i did that once when we were kids! We put a piece of paper into one of those old fan heaters and it caught fire and then blew down the hall! Mum was still asleep and we had to jump past the fire in the hall to go and wake her! :eek:

My kids have done that too, but the put their toy dog in front of the heater and singed its butt.

My dd nearly burnt the house down yesty arvo!!

I was upstairs folding some clothes.. and i came down downstairs to the kitchen full of smoke, and smoke p!ssing out of the microwave... she had fish fingers in there and decided to put them on for 45 minutes :eek:
