I would really like a pretty moses basket for #2. Didn't have one with DS because we had no space, everyone said I'd never use it past 6 weeks, and the ones I saw were all like big pillows in a basket so it wasn't safe (big pillowy bumpers all round, I couldn't relax with a newborn in there).
He ended up sleeping for naps in the bassinette attachment to the pram for NINE MONTHS (yes he still fit, just!), which was bad because the drool totally spoiled the matching mattress.
My Mum actually has mine still from 30 odd years ago, but it is plasticised cane which I don't like much, and would need a new mattress made to measure.
Suggestions?
