I know that's a weird thread title but I neeeed to know what this stuff is.
I was in Sydney about a month ago and went to China Town, upstairs they have all those places that do the bbq meats. I got a plate of food and they had all these little bowls with different sauces in them that you could put over your bbq meat. One of them was BY FAR the best thing I have ever tasted, it was spring onions all cut up in a clear liquid that tasted like a mix between vinegar, sugar, salt and something else reeeeeaaalllly tasty.
It was a month ago I was in Sydney and I can't stop thinking about this stuff! Does anyone know what it is or how to make it?
