advice asap please

Hi ladies,
just wanting to know is it ok to give bubs panadole and dimatap? i wasent sure cause i know only one of them has paracetamole in it.
Bubs has come down with a realy bad cold she is all blocked up and she dosent want to settle or drink her milk.So wot should i give her till tommorow when i take her to the doctors?

I know ur not to give both at the same time. Maybe go dimetapp and then the panadol later tonight?

I just gave Lucas Demazin(similar) about 4 hours ago then topped him with panadol. Probably not a good idea to give both at the same time but don't stress if you have.

nah i havent given them to her at the same time... i gave her dimatap about 2 hours ago and was just waiting to know if it is ok to give her some panadole now

the chemist told me it was ok to give both though i never asked if it was at the same time - they are for different things & the chemist said they dont react together - hope that helps

I have always given panadol and demazin/dimetapp at the same time. My dr told me that it's fine to do that.

i give my two kids both demazin and panadol together at the same time doctor says its ok !

Usually if they say they can be taken together it means at the sam time

beetlgrl - I was just about to do a post to ask a very similar question! Damn colds I hate them!!!! How is your little one doing now, my son took forever to get to sleep tonight...I put him down at 8.30 and didn't get to sleep until just now...fingers crossed. I do feel sorry for them though, so small and don't really know what to do with themselves.

The question I was going to ask was what works best for your chidlren when they have a cold? These medicines don't seem to be having an effect on him!

Anyway, I have also been told you can give it to them at the same time, but if you are concerened that Health Direct Line sounds good!
