Lane Cove Mums

Hi,

I am about to become a new mum EDD July 11 2006. I moved to Lane Cove in January and I am looking to join a mums group in the area but I don't know how to find one.
I don't have many friends in Sydney as I moved from UK in 1995 and have been working overseas over the last 5 years for 6 months each of those years.

My husband is currently away and only back 13 days before EDD! :eek:

I am 36 and love a coffee!

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Hi Jo. I'm currently in Lane Cove, but will be moving in a couple of weeks. I never joined a Mother's group, as I moved here from Melbourne a year ago and went through a bit of depression and........you know how it all goes.

There is a PLaygroup that meets on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 - 11:30 at a Uniting Church in West Chatswood (just north of Mowbray St).......the street name escapes me right now. If you want further details I can get them for you.

What part of Lane Cove are you in?

I was going to attend, but then we foudn out that we were moving and I didn't want to get attched to these mums and bubs. But I have spoken with the coordinator, and it sounds like most of the mums are from somewhere other than Sydney. Ha!

Let me know if you wnat further details, or a coffee for that matter. :)
