I'm with GMHBA and was on there website looking up something else when I read about something they call the Healthy Start Benefit. They apparently going to send me $500 60-90 after the birth of my child to assist with obstrestic costs. I called today to confirm and that is what he said I don't need to provide receipts of expensives they will just send a cheque for $500.
Now I will certainly have to wait to see if it occurs but will be very happy if it occurs. We recently changed out excess from $250 to $500 to get a cheaper premium so if they do give us $500 will be very happy.
