Inflamed throat AGAIN

My 13 month old and 2 1/2 year old seem to be getting inflamed throats consistently over the past three months. I cant work out why. The doc says its "normal" but they are taking antibiotics every time to make them better. What is going on? Any suggestions? :)

Hmm that doesnt sound right! If they are needing antibiotics every time, the only thing I can think of is they are getting bacterial tonsilitis? Otherwise if they are just getting inflamed throats from a virus they should not be on antibiotics. How many times in the past 3 months have they been on antibiotics?

Thanks for the reply. :) I try to avoid antibiotics but after six days of upset babies i give in.

They have both had three doses in the last three months. I looked up tonsilitis and apparently dairy can often be the cause of repeat episodes.

My two year old was on soy as a baby so i have switched her milk back to that one and cut out their yoghurt, i hope this will help.;)
