Smelly bottle

When I sterilise a Nuk bottle in the steriliser, it smells funny... But when it cools down it doesnt smell... Does anyone know what it is?

Nope, but when i used to sterilise DD's AVENT bottles in an avent sterilser, they used to really smell too. Then when they cool down and dry, no smell. Its wierd isn't it.
