Hi ladies,

Just a little about me..

I have a 2 year boy.

I am TTC number 2 and this wll be my 4th cycle TTC.

The reason i am concerned is that i have never had a issue getting PG i have been PG a total of 4 times and with all 4 pg i fall first month and only BD's once or twice in that month.
My first PG i was on the pill and still got PG.

I have had 3 M/C and one live birth.. 2 M/C than my son than M/C in december.

I had a m/c in December and had a D&C ( have had 4 D&C in totally for all my M/C)

I know i am ovulation as i am using OPK and have used 2 different brands and they have all had BFP around CD13,14.

I have a text book cycle every 28 days..

I had a u/s about 4 1/2 weeks ago due to stomach cramp for 3 weeks but they could not find anything wrong. The cramp cleared up when i got my last AF beofre this one so 4 weeks ago.

Has anyone any idea's i am very depressed and lost for idea on what is wrong with me..

should i go to the Dr's or just keep trying???

why am i Ovulation and BDing at the right time and not getting PG.

It is perfectly normal to take up to 12 months to fall pregnant, even if it has taken you less time in the past.

Some doctors will investigate after 6 months if you are over 30 or 35 (depends on the doctor) but many will get you to wait til 12 months.

There is a 20% chance of success per cycle, so after 4 cycles it's still possible not to be pregnant, even though you are doing all you can. If you're sure you are ovulating, you are BDing when needed and you've got pregnant easily before it is simply a matter of time. In reality I doubt it will be much longer ... :hugs:

Hi Wendy,
Firstly I wanted to say I'm so sorry for your M/Cs - you sound like a very brave and strong person. :hugs:

But with regards to your question above... there are truly a million reasons why it's not happening for you.
I, too, have a beautiful DD who is 3. We fell pregnant on the third cycle of TTC. Now after plenty of tests, OPKs, BTs, etc, we are still not pregnant (you can see in the ticker how long we've been trying).

If I were you, I'd be taking your concerns to your GP. Get him/her to do a day 21 progesterone test to actually confirm that you are ovulating (OPKs can still be wrong). And due to the fact you are now in your 30s, it's worthwhile asking about any other tests you and your partner can get done to make sure everything is in good working order.
There must be a reason why you have had 3 M/C, so this is another reason to go see your doctor. Did they do a chromosomal analysis when you M/C'd?

Stress and depression can also be a factor... if your body is sending out signals that say "this is not a happy place", then those little eggs and spermies are going to go back to where they came from!
Try to stay positive... there is still plenty of time for you to have number 2, and I'm sure it will happen for you soon. :fingerscrossed:
