Hi, my name is Amanda and I am new to the forum. I am 34 and have three young boys. Ethan (4), Levi (21mths), and Kai (4 mths).

We spend our days playing at home and on Wed Ethan goes to kindy. This Thursday we are going to try a new playgroup in Robina. I would love to hear from anyone that goes.

I would love to hear from anyone in the area with similar interests.

Hi Michelle, i also have a 5 month old and there were a few other women with young babies, however the majority were between 2-3. I am going along tommorow ( if it is not raining ) and I am meeting a friend Skye who also has a 5 month old - so come along we would love to meet you......

Hi Amanda and Michelle! My name is Amanda too and live in the Robina area with my husband and our nearly 10mth old son. I’m new to the whole mother/playgroup thing too. I have been looking at the ABA's meeting this Tuesday I think and I am working up the energy to go along... Have you been to any of the ABA's meetings? They also have regular outings too. Amanda how did you find the playgroup? I’ve put this off until now because I’ve been concerned about other mother’s competitiveness which I want to avoid. I’m interested in finding likeminded gentle mothers to share time with. Hope to hear from you! :)

Up until recently I have been working running my own business and freelancing until I became pregnant and gave most of it away. Now I am looking for a Mother Group or people to do things with as I am finding it all a bit lonely.

My name is Melinda and I'm 34 with 2 boys (2 and 3mnths). My husband and I have recently moved from Sydney to Broadbeach Waters. Can anyone tell me a little about the Robina playgroup - Where is it? When's it held?

Plus if there are any other social get togethers arranged outside of a playgroup, I'd love to hear about them ... I miss my long lunches with girlfriends in Sydney and hope others are enjoying the same up here in this beautiful sunshine!

I have been going to that playgroup on Mondays for about a year, I started going on a Thursday but found the ladies there that day next to impossible to get to know, so I changed to Mondays & found it much better.
We are not going ATM because I am taking DD to a music group, I would love to ctach up sometime.

I tried the playgroup thing when DS#1 was a bub and I found them wayyy to clicky, I felt so on the outter so have never gone back. Maybe we should start our own?
