Baby Shower Games and Prizes

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas for different games ideas for a baby shower and also What did you or could you use for prizes????

The theme is PINK as im having a girl so we were thinking about mini bottles of Pink wine maybe???


Any Ideas??

i went to one on the weekend and they had little simple games. One game was the alphabet game, where you wrote down A-Z and get everyone to write things to do with birth of pregnancy or babies and everyone reads it out

They had a little jar of Chickos and you had to guess how many was in the jar and the winner won a little prize

The memory game - You had heaps of baby items out on the table and you can look at them for a minute and then they are put away and you have to remember them all and write them down, whoever remembers the most wins.


If you are looking for a more wild party

Have drinking contest- Fill baby bottles up with alcohol and skull as fast as you can

Have a running race and whoevers waters breaks is out of the race. Just fill water bombs up and they have to race with them between there legs

I went to a Baby Shower a month and a bit ago.

The games they had were.

How big is mummies tummy? You get everyone to make an approx on how big the mummies tummy is with string. The one that has the closest wins a prize.
It was kinda funny cause some people made their string long enough for her to be carrying twins or even triplets lol.

We played a game where we put 30 pegs on a line, and the one who can take and hold the most pegs with 1 hand wins.
Not as easy as it looks, I think the most someone got was 18.

Don't say Baby. Basically everyone was given a ribbon to wear when they came to the party, and you were not allowed to say the word baby at all while you were there. If you let it slip, whoever heard you do it, gets to take your ribbon. Who ever collects the most ribbons at the end of the shower, gets a prize.

We also had a pass the parcel thing with 40 women. Was hillarious. Made me think we were at a kids party.

The prizes she gave out were things like bath oils and soaps and incense.
And I think the one who won the "Don't say Baby game" got tickets to a Spa.

After the smaller games were done, we sat down and watched her open up her presents. And everyone was given a little lolly bag and letter of thanks for coming.


Another idea for a game, my sister actually suggested. And I think it be funny, and kinda messy but worth some awesome pictures.
Basically you blind fold someone and get them to lick a unknown substance off a nappy.
Usually you melt some chocolate bars and smear them on the nappy, and if you guess it right, you get a prize.

the games that were played at mine were, match the celeb baby with its parents, the string one that Mimmi mentioned and how many jelly babies in the baby bottle, if you google 'baby shower games' you will find plenty! Good luck
