First and foremost... poor you!
I know what those cat naps are like. :banghead:
Generally with an ear infection, there is a rise in temperature as well.
But the tugging on the ear (particularly one side) seems to say alot.
I'd take bub for a check up. If nothing rlse, for peace of mind.

The constant feeds might be a growth spurt though, or for comfort for you little one's pain. Ear infections are nasty. The pain...

Good luck

Hey Shezi,

Oooh, that sounds just awful - poor you and poor bubba.

DD has never had an ear infection, so I'm not sure about that, but I just wanted to let you know that most babies go through a developmental stage where they tug on and play with their ears a lot - its like they've just discovered them, and keep playing with the intersting toys on the sides of their head LOL!.

But given that your bubba seems to be not herself, and not sleeping well, I think you'd be wise to take her to the doctor for a check-up. Can't hurt, and might help!

Good luck, I hope you find an answer!

Hi, there..
My son damien is forever tugging at his ears, and has for the last months, i have taken him to the local gp, and everything seems to fine. I dont understand it either. He too, went thru 5-15min cat naps, and was up during the night all the time. And he is 16 months. We have only started sleeping through the night about a month ago. I know this might sound a bit silly, but have you cleaned her ears, sometimes, even babies can have deep wax, and your local gp should be able to give you some ear drops for her. With damien, we just persevred with it..
and it finally got better in time, But i do suggest that you take her to get a look over by a doc.

Best of luck! :fingerscrossed:
