bleeding for 3 days and hasnt stopped early pregnancy anyone else???

hi all

just a quick one.. am rhesus negative and have been bleeding for 3 days .. am in early stages of pregnancy havent been able to get to dr yet due to long easter weekend.. hopefully tomorrow.... have never had a miscarriage so no ideas about it at all.. is there anyone else there that has had this happen and come through ok ... its not a heavy bleed but its quite red .. HCG levels seem ok as HPT are very strong still....
would appreciate hearing from anyone with advice or previous experience .. need to ease the mind a bit .... hate feeling like this.... :confused:

I have been in a similar situation and now I have a 21 month old DS.

WIth the rhesus negative I would be going to the hospittal tomorrow asap to get the anti D injection.

I really hope things are ok.

I am now almost 10 weeks pregnant and have been bleeding the whole time - every day for the last 8 weeks. I've had scans and bt's and everything seems to be okay. OB isn't sure why I am bleeding but said that some women can bleed through their whole pregnancy and things are fine. It doesn't make it easy though....I feel very anxious and really wish the bleeding would go away. A lot of women seem to get some spotting during the first few weeks, hopefully yours is related to implantation or something else harmless. Anyway, :fingerscrossed: that everything will be fine for both of us!! Hang in there and I hope everything works out.

I hope it's just a pregnancy bleed but it could also be a miscarriage. I've had two that were light bleeding for 3 days (less than a normal period) and no pain whatsoever.

thanks everyone for ur advice, i am going to the dr tomorrow to get all the anti d injection sorted....it seems to have slowed right down today i had a shower tonight and there hasnt been fresh blood on pad for awhile looks like... only a lil when i wiped after toilet (sorry tmi) but i know i have to get the dr to check me up anyways so hopefully this is the end of it all.. :) .... thanks heaps...

So far, mine is good alright. I'm 7 weeks today and have bled for almost 3 weeks, stopping yesterday :smiliedance:

Hi Everyone Im really new to all this so I hope im doing it right. I have just found out im 6weeks and I already have 2 children 14yrs old and 11yrs old so there is quite alot of time between children. Yesterday lunchtime I started bleeding something I never had all those years ago. Its not like a full on period there just seems to be a brownish tinge of blood and every now and again I lose a little of clots but nothing serious.

Its quite a confusing time because we have been trying for 12 months to fall and finally its happened and of course now we think the worst. I had an ultra sound today and lucky me has a retroverted uterus so I had an internal ultra sound which still did show a 2mm thing which the radiographer said they would say was a pregnancy but really its just going to be a waiting game I will have to go for more blood tests and more ultrasounds. I see my doctor tomorrow afternoon and I guess she will send me then for another blood test. The waiting game is what does your head in its terrible.

Hi There,

When i was about 11 weeks i had bleeding for about a week. I had no pains at all so never went to the doctor and it just went away.

I'm not an expert but i think if you were having a miscarriage or if there was something bad happening to the baby then you would be in pain.... I could be wrong though

I'd still recommend going to doctor if not just to set your mind at ease.

Hi Thanks for commenting. I am bleeding more today unfortunately but i guess there isnt much I can do. I am seeing the doctor this afternoon but basically I think until i get another blood test done to see if my levels are dropping or falling I wont really know whats going on. Talk about Stressful and Frustrating!!:(

If its any consolation, I had bleeding in both my pregnancies and all is fine. I had big gushes of red blood, but the scan showed baby was happy. Try and rest. :fingerscrossed: fingers crossed for you hun.

I've had 3 early miscarriages and none of them were painful. BT's will give you an answer.
