This is the first time I'm using this site, but I've been searching the web and I cant realy work out what way to go, so I thought I'd ask some advice here.

I'm an experience childcare worker with a 5 month old bub and I want to get into nannying.

I'm having trouble working out how much I can/should charge?

I dont know what to do, or where even to look for the information?!

Thanks so much for any advice!

Hi,

A qualified Nanny although there is no award is on average paid between $17-$25/hr. At a guess I would expect a Mummy Nanny to get paid between $15-$18hr

I did find this on an Australian Nanny Sharings site-

What is a Mummy Nanny and what is their cost per hour?

MummyNannies are essentially Nannies who have had several years of experience, had a child of their own, and are wishing to return to Nannying with their own child in tow. A Mummy Nanny will care for your child, and her own, in either home as agreed at a discounted rate to the standard Nanny rates. Typically at present this is around $12 per hour
