Just wondering if any same sex couples out there have one of you that will not or does not want to carry a child of their own?

If so, would there be a chance that the partner who wont ever carry a child want to perhaps help a couple by donating eggs?

Just wondering if you and your husband would be offering a swap .

ie: if a lesbian couple were able to donate some eggs to you would you be able to donate some sperm to them ?

I'm not looking myself am too old to donate eggs but there are younger women out there, and this may catch their interest.

Um yep i think that we would do a swap but i would have to trust that the potential egg donor would donate, but onlydonate with all the relevent info and a lot of thought of what it entails. I would never agree to a "swap" if someone was just so eager to get donor sperm that they would just say "yes". At the end of the day if they back out i have a devestated couple but the other couple have my husbands sperm. This is a huge thing for me to have my hubby do this as we cannot have our own child now as i have a liver tumor and yet i have 19 donor kids and just want to allow my husband to become a father. He denys this and just says he is happy to help others and that he is too old to have a baby but i know deep down he would be thrilled if we had one of our own. That being said i am always over the moon any time our recipients has a baby.

It would be that you could all remain friends !

I would hope too that nobody would take advantage of anyones conception difficulties either way !

Both DP and I plan to have a child (one each) to make our family complete, so we are currently not in the position to help.

I'm going first so that i'm still young enough to donate when dp falls pregant.

Being a donor recipient and the joy of knowing (although not yet having) that you can have a child with the selfless gift of someone else makes me want to give that same gift in return so that i can make another family as truly happy as DP and i are.

I'm hoping :fingerscrossed: that there is someone else out there who feels the same way as i do yet has had a child and so is in the position to donate to you.
