I've been thinking about using MCN's for my twins as I'll be home more to be able fiddle with them and also for the cost. BUT as it will be double the work load I'm wondering if it's really worth it. I would love your opinions.

 I am hoping to use MCN's too! I have had 2 in cloth before (DD was 2 and not TT'd when DS was born) but a toddler doesn't use as many as a newborn! It will be interesting, but I think we might be able to make it work. DS will still be in nappies, so i'll have 3 in cloth, but with 4 kids, i'll be washing every day, so I figure what's an extra load every couple of days!
My plan was to use itti bitt d'lish and bitti boo's to start with....but then a good friend said she had 26 pre-folds I could borrow - nice thick ones! Then my sister picked up some second hand tots bots for me from free-cycle - so I just had to buy a few covers! I am also knitting a few wraps and covers to save on the cost. The pre-folds will be great, as being winter bubs, if they dont' dry, i can chuck in the dryer to dry quickly. Then I will still have the bitti d'lish to use when we are out - just quicker and easier.
Folding nappies is enjoyable for me anyway! lol And I honestly don't find it that much more work - and it's GREAT not to have to duck to the shops because you are out of nappies (as i have had friends complain about many times!). I am open to it all though, if I am struggling, i'll grab some disposables, but it helps that DH is happy to use them, and helps with the washing. Moneywise - it will be a BIG saver for us, as DS has FAR too many larges for one kid, and my sister has given me a heap of M/L ittis/bubblebubs/wild childs that her DD doesn't use anymore, and i have about 25 mediums from DS. So not a great deal to purchase! (although I have already ordered some blueberry minkee OSFA camo nappies!) :flowerz:
