Starting Night feed again at 7 1/2 months

My DS is a happy 7 1/2 month old baby, that has 3 full meals a day...and generally 4 full bottles of milk a day.

He has been sleeping through the night since about 5 1/2 months, but over the last couple of weeks, has been starting to wake for a feed. Now he sometimes settles with a bit of water...but generally he screams until he gets a bottle of milk.

Do babies go through growth spurts at this age? He has started trying to crawl, could this have anything to do with it?

He does genuinely seems hungry, and I can hear his stomach, but he has such a heavy meal at dinner, usually pasta with veg, custard and then a full bottle when he goes down, and his lunch is protein...and has oatmeal for breakfast.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Some babies do start waking through the night or change their behaviour when the reach major milestones (such as crawling).

Or your Ds could very well be going through a growth spurt:).

I agree with Jakois - it sounds like a developmental leap is about to happen, or that he's going through a growth spurt. Completely normal :)
