Today was the day where all of my work and my families' compromises paid off.
I struggled and never thought I'd see the day, but I got to wear my black robe and black cap and graduate today! :smiliedance:
I am in the middle of exams for my second postgrad studies and have been really struggling with motivation because of the difficult circumstance (2 children now). I have been doubting if I could keep going, but today i remembered that I doubted myself many times during my undergrad degree also. But I got there.
For those who parents who are studying (especially now that it is exam time for most) and are doubting themselves, stick with it.
Apparently it is possible to achieve it.
And what made it even more special was to have my whole family at my graduation. DH, DD and DS!!!
Nothing like seeing mum's graduation to have a 3 yo asking lots of questions. My favourite was DD asking "So when will I wear one of those and have a gu-wad-iation ceremomee?" I long to see that day too.
Good Luck to ALL of you with your studies!!!
