Have you got bonjella? Rub a bit of that on to get you through the night.or something for kids teething?
Then go to the chemist when you can and get Toothache Drops, they are actually called that! (made by Nyal) It will numb it for half the day, you wont even know you have it! Its a teeny tiny bottle and you dip in a cotton bud and hold it in yr mouth for a minute. Taste gross but works.
My teeth always have a drama when i am pregnant, apprently your gums swell or something and infection can get in.

That would probably explain why my whole mouth is hurting maybe?
Thanks Kel I will go to the chemist First thing tomorrow.
But i dont no where exactly the pain is coming from, it like the whole top and bottom on the left. My front bottom ones are hurting to.
Oh why didnt i go to the dentist before falling pregnent, stupid girl:hissy:

 coz teeth only hurt when you cant get them fixed!
The drops will numb your whole mouth if you want them too  I am positive they are safe, Jyett had to use them while he was awaiting a filling, school dental told me to get them.
If it gets worse go to yr GP as you can get abcesses and many need antibiotics, i had one with one of the kids and felt like death i tell ya!

they gave me panadeine forte when i was pregnant for tooth ache try that
I so feel for you.... It's sounds like an absess hun...
Go to your doctor and get some antibiotics... Very safe whilst your pregnant.... Once the infection is treated the pain will go away.... when i had this after a couple of doses of antibiotics i was amazed by how much the pain went away..... Panadeine Forte is safe during pregnancy.... anything with codeine is fine.... You can but over the counter panadeine for strong pain (amcal do this and i'm sure other pharmacys sell the same strength too)
Swishing warm salty water helps also.... the tooth drops are good, but sometimes can agrivate the area also.... try a very small amount first...
If it's absolutely unbearable go to the hospital.... they can treat you and i will also say that when i had a very bad abscess and was unable to see a dentist for 3 days i got a shot of morphine.... Which is also safe as well...the pain was that bad..... .... a little extreme some may think but pain elevates blood pressure... something we don't need when pregnant.....
Hope i've helped....

Well I know panadol is fine.
I was given panedine forte by my GP who knows I'm pregnant.
I would assume then, there is panadeine extra which is over the counter without prescription it's like half strength of panadeine forte - ask the pharmacist they will know (not sure how pregnant you are and a disclaimer as what my Dr said is OK for me doesn't mean it might be for you)
Im sorry pain in your mouth/teeth is so bloodie crap. :hugs:
I had the worst pain and needed the nerve removed but went through the public dental clinic in surry hills.
All I wanted was a nurofen because it works so much better for tooth pain but I couldn't :(
You need to get yourself to the dentist lady! Can someone else help you out with the cash to get it done?
In my experience, which unfortunately has been a lot with teeth problems, is the longer you put it off the more expensive it costs..
Can you access a public dental clinic?

My grandmother always swore by keeping a clove in your mouth to dull the pain naturally - I wouldn't know how well it works because I can't stand the taste of cloves!

Hi,
I am a dental assistant, it does not sound like abscess to me. If yo have health care card or pension card you can go to public dentist. I think i saw you live in brissy there are a few public clinics. They can work on preg ladies just some particular treatments they put off till after, but they will definatley get you out of pain. It also depends on which trimester stage you are in.
So my advice is call around today tell them in ALOT of pain cant sleep etc they should see you.
If not go to chemist or emergency dept.
Good Luck

I agree with PurplePumpkin.
Brisbane Northside- there is one at Strathpine. They put me in earlier because the pain was really bad.
Good luck nothing worse than tooth pain!!!
