My son is having his baptism on the 18th June, but i seem to be stuck on a present for his godparents.

i want to get something different, because the couple has everything and they are getting engaged this weekend.

Has anyone got any ideas on what might be a good present, we are willing to spend up to $150 dollars.

Please Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow... you are gonna spend $150!!! I wish I were the God Parent!! ;) :p
I would have just given a photo of bubs in a nice frame.... :o

Maybe one of those brass casts of bubs hands & feet? ( I love them!)

..........we're supposed to buy the godparents a gift???????

Isn't the honour of being the child's spiritual life mentor enough of a gift???

Thanks everyone for your ideas and comments.......

I've decided to get a handpainted platter made up.

It's going to have my sons footprints on it, with his name and the date of the baptism.

It will also have his godparents names on it with a little verse.

Will attached a picture once it's completed.

I gave each of my kids godparents a little frame with pic of child (and I mean little) a dove (for peace) pin as I couldn't find blue birds (protectors of babes) and a "Verse" card .... Ciaran's godparents got Footprints ....... Alana's got "Children Learn what they Live" ...... and Declan's Got a variety.

Ciaran and Alana have 5 Godparents Each and Declan has 4 ... couldn't afford anything more and the Godparents ALL appreciated the thoughtful gift.

Ive still got to get my butt into gear & organise mine, hey its only 3mths late :o
There is a great place near my mum that does the candles which you can have photos put onto or the verses you like etc & then you can have little candles made for the godparents so im going to do this ......
Again when i get off my lazy butt :o
