I have heard that yes a c-section can make it harder to conceive the next time too!
Why not go to the Dr's now, alot of ppl go before ttc to get checked up so I would go just to get a clean bill of health etc then keep trying!
yeah mine was emergency and i got a real bad infection for the first 3 wks then again a month later... thanx for the advice i no wot to do i'll jst go get checked now! thanks heaps guys!:fingerscrossed: :yelclap:

Well as far as I understand Csection only involves cutting into your uterus not any of the other bits ovaries or tubes so not it shouldn't have any impact on concieveing but they do say it can take up to one year to conceive anyway :banghead:
I know you have probably heard this all before but try to relax and take it as it comes :fingerscrossed:
look after yourself and take multivitiamens you and partner

This is a snippett from the article
Almost half of all women who give birth to their first baby by emergency Caesarean section do not have another child - with nearly one in three suffering long-term infertility problems and one in five too traumatised to go through childbirth a second time.

Crissie, I havent had a C-section but I was prepped for one during my labour so can imagine how you felt when told you had to have one.
As for TTC #2 I just wanted to wish you the best of luck. I have never heard of a c-section causing infertility. If your really worried, consult your GP, maybe they can do some tests?
Goodluck and keep smiling. :hugs:
thanx! ur lucky it never happened i was so sure i wouldnt haveone but the hospital i was at was really pushy... 3 outta 5 from my anti natal class had emergency c sections. i was so dissapointed but dont think it made me and my bub connect neless... but i did miss out on thoes first hours being so druged up.. but thanks 4 careing guys!:o
