Hi folks!
We just found out that we are relocating to another residence at the end of the month and was just wanting some tips/advice on how to go about this with a 3 month baby.... Unfortunately I don't have any family near by that I am able to leave Ryan with....
Any help will be very welcomed!

My 3-4 month old slept through our move. I left her sleeping in her carry cot in the lounge to go and take the dogs to the pound for the day, and when I came back the movers & my hub had carted everything out of the room and she was still asleep!
Borrow or rent a porta-cot for bub to sleep in for the few nights before the move and after the move, so that you can dismantle and move the cot. Put all the bolts and bits for the cot into a ziplock bag and tape it securely to one of the cot pieces. The base piece is a good choice any tape marks will be covered by the mattress after. Or pick another obvious & memorable spot to put it (taped into a drawer of his dresser).
I basically treated the moving day itself as a long day out. A couple days before the move I packed her an overnight bag with diapers, changes of clothing, bath stuff etc. Basically everything that you might use in 24 hours that is portable. That bag stayed with me and dd throughout.
Last minute gear that gets used regularly was packed into the bag or a couple of boxes the night before - extra bottles and formula stuff, sterilising stuff, bath towel and soap, favorite toys, essentials, etc. Boxes should be labelled hugely and boldly as being babies so you can find them quickly. If possible set all of bubs essential stuff aside as take it yourself in the car. If you're using movers put it all in one pile with a BIG sign on it, or it will disappear into the van and you may not see it for 8 hours!
