Hi
There are heaps of websites with baby names, you can look yours up. One that I know of is http://babyzone.com/ (US), but I'm sure there are local ones as well, just google "baby names". I do know that Xander is a form of Alexander, but I can't give you the meaning. If I remember my bible story correctly, Jacob means "heel grasper" (I think ! ), as he was the second born twin, born holding the right(?) heel of his brother.

Cheers

Jacob means: 'Supplanter' (?!), and is a biblical name
Xander means: 'Defender of men' or 'Warrior' and is a varient of Alexander (like Xkwzit said!)

well i dont have to wonder any more because im having a baby boy (or so the ultrasound says) and ive decided Jacob Xander Luke Darker :D it was so woah when the ultrasound guy thing (what are they radiollogists or sumthing?) told me "well im not one hundred percent but thats the umbilical cord and that appears to be his scrotum and im assuming this here would be his penis because you wont find that on a girl" i wanted to laugh at the way he put it but being full of water i tried not to!! well yeh and they are all confusing me with their delivery dates first i was told 27th nov and then the 29th and now the 22nd???? o well hes not likely to come when asked he'l do it when hes ready and im not but thanx for ur help peeps and il keep in touch

According to http://www.allthebabynames.com :

Jacob means 'that supplants, undermines, the heel'
Xander means 'protector of mankind'
