View Full Version : twin pregnancy and bleeding?
Hi Ladies....
Im seven weeks pregnant with twins and have had spotting in the past few weeks but this time around its red blood and im just worried:confused:
Has anyone else had this problem?
Hi,
I am not pregnant with twins, and have not had what you are describing.
But I have heard that bleeding during early pregnancy with multiple babies on board, can happen, and the babies are fine.
BUT the fact that the blood is red, and not brownish, is a concern.
Please go and get a doctors opinion.
I wish you all the best.
Hi Hooves.....After bleeding for 3 days i went in for a scan and the babies were still alive THANKGOD but for some reason i was bleeding from the womb but it all cleared the next day.Im now waiting for another scan next Friday to see if all is ok still. Thanks for your reply.;)

Not carrying multiples (to my knowledge anyway) but I've had red spotting too... my HCG levels are still rising and everything so far, but I'm still only 6 weeks, 3 days... so hopefully both of us get through happy and healthy pregnancies. I said to my GP after getting back my last lot of bloods that I'm giving this one a mean name as revenge mwahahaha :P
Are you on progesterone support? I know that it was likely that caused me to have red bleeding on six occasions until about 16 weeks.
I also had some blood behind the placenta which they thought may have been the cause too.
Hope it works out :)
