Whats going on in and around Lilyfield for kiddies

I think we have finally found a place. in Lilyfield!

What is going on in lilyfield, are there parks where would we shop and is it a place I could walk around? We would be living quite close to the light rail...

Lilyfeld will be great - close to Leichhardt and Annandale which are both very kid-friendly, and only a bit further to Glebe (to visit me!) and your beloved Newtown. There is lots happening at Leichhardt library for kiddies toy library, music classes, story time etc - I will check for you and get back to you, or just google the library/ council.

Which woolies would be my closest... Marrickville or Balmain, is the Balmain shopping centre any good...

THe place is on Joseph street... Fingerscrossed we accept it... we have to fit yet..

Either would be fine but Marrickville means an undercover shopping centre (mall) with lots of other stuff in there too, but yes, Balmain is good. You could also use Broadway for shopping.
