My ds2 is still waking throughout the night. I am trying very hard to help him sleep through but I am not convinced that he will do it properly till he is on three solid meals per day. Typically he wakes late in the evening and then around 4ish. That is ok, but it has caused a problem with ds2..
ON Sunday am ds2 was a bit wakeful (maybe teething..??), so he woke ds1 up at 4.20am. DS1 woke singing and banging on the walls. We tried everything to get ds1 back to sleep. DH lay down in his bed with him in the end which didn't even work as he wanted to play.
Since that day he has been waking initially around 4.30-5am and yelling out for us to get him up. I have tried to ensure that ds2 is quiet at that time, but I really don't want to feed him when he could be asleep just to "keep him quiet".
This morning ds2 woke at 3.45am and I fed him and put him back to bed, but then ds2 woke at 4.45am. We managed to get him back into bed but then he woke at 5,45am.
DS1 used to sleep through til past 7, but I think that ds2 wakes him up!
What are your ideas for keeping ds2 from waking his older brother up? Or how to resettle ds1 without waking his younger brother up? We need to break the habit.
We are going to stay with my family for 6 wks in the next few days, so I am freking out about how he will go beng in a different bed and continuing to wake up....
