I was in the same boat and I couldn't find anything to do from home. I ended up sending my resume to Hotels in the area asking for evening and weekend reception work.

I've since gotten a job working sat and sun 7-3pm and 1-2 evenings per week waitressing at a top hotel here in town and I'm bringing home in excess of $350 a week. It's fantastic - don't have to pay for childcare and cos the pay rates so high, I don't have to work every night.

Maybe this could work for you too?

Thanks guys for all your feedback, i am a hopeless ironer so i think i will give that a miss.
I have worked in the childcare industry for 10 years so i know that i can always fall back on that to do some babysitting but was just wanting to try something new.
Well hopefully i will get some more feedback.

Thanks to everyone who has replied to me so far, greatly appreciated.

I am interested in some ideas too.
I have heard eBay is good.
I guess it depends what you are interested in and what sort of lifestyle you lead.

I run a Nanny and Babysitting Agency from home, and run an eBay business. I can do this in the school holidays, when Jack is asleep, at night, in the morning when he's eating his toast. Whenever. I started off buying thing at Garage Sales, Salvos stores, my old stuff and friends old stuff. Then started selling professionally for other people. I just take a commission for the sale.

With the Nanny business, I started doing overnight shifts 9pm-6am, or cared for other kids in my home. Just put an ad in the local school and/or kindy newsletter. The phone will soon start ringing.

I can PM you some more info if you like!
