So far my DD has flatly refused any kind of TT.

She doesnt seem to care if she is wet. Doesnt seem to know when she is ready to do a wee ... or in fact if she has done one.

In a lot of respects I havent tried hard enough. After a few days of constant (like every single time) wet pants I have given up and said she is not ready.

Today - I have tried once again.

After 2 changes of knickers/clothes from wee's .... I left everything off, set the potty on the lounge room floor, told her she would get a lollipop for weeing or pooing in the potty and put play school on.

She sat on the potty and did try to do a poo .... but to no avail. She got off and played for about 15 minutes, then casually as you like got back on the potty herself and did a huge poo and a wee!!!!

Awesome :yelclap:

I have a very stubborn little man who took till he was not far off 4yrs to TT !!!! He just refused !

Now he has decided to wear undies to bed & we are a few weeks in with a couple of accidents but seriously he has done it all himself without all the tears & tantrums !

:smiliedance:

WEll we had some successes amongst a number of wet pants ....

The whole time she had no pants, she didnt have any accidents at all.

BUT - the times she had pants on, she didnt go to the toilet at all ...only wet her pants.

Today though, we dont have to go anywhere, so she can just have no pants all day ..... so hopefully will be all good.

1 from 1 this morning already :smiliedance::smiliedance::smiliedance:

i had exact same issue with my DD... i however tried to push her into TT cos my DD1 was so quick to do it and so goooood at it haha... however wasn't to be, she didn't want a bar of it and so after many poo and wee knickers i was jack of it haha, so i put her back into pull ups, and within the next 2 weeks she decided she was a BIG girl (exactly how she said it) and shouldn't be wearing pull ups anymore so she started going to the toilet, now its been 3 months and shes going strong, has had a couple of accidents as they do when they cant get to the loo in time but all in all everything is great, still doing the pull ups for night time, haven't conquered that but i figure she will do it when she is ready, no pushin from mummy.. :D

Well all in all I would have to consider today a very successful day for day 2.

She wore pullups overnight, with no leaks so that was good.

- wore no pants till about 2 oclock and had no accidents at all.

- 2 oclock she put pants on and went outside to play. Came inside and took pants off to go on the potty.

- went when I ask so that we could go up the road to the shops, and then stayed dry till we got home ...and went as soon as we got home.

- went again just before we went out to the park...

- came home and about 4.30 she was playing outside and had the first (and only) accident of the day. She was very very tired, and I had ask her if she needed to do a wee, and she said no, but I had left her potty inside and didnt follow it up when I knew she hadnt been for about an hr.

- she then had a shower, and put a pull-up on .... and watched tv for a little while. Then came out coz she had done a wee ... and took off her pull-up, sat on the potty and did a poo

so happy.
