Hi,
I live in the Alexandra Hills area and have a 10 week old son. Would be happy to catch up sometime or would love to hear about some sort of mother's group in the area.
Samantha.
 G-Day Girls, I'm a mum in Cleveland with an 18 month old boy, there is a group in Alexandra hill's that's Called Bub Hub it's a comunity based program and free of charge, They put group's together for mum's and bub's.
Samantha the place is just around the courner from Hungry Jack's i will try to find out the address for you lady's. I'm also looking for stay at home mum's with kid's around my son's age so that he has some one to play with. The Capalaba police youth group also have a group that meet's on a Wednesday morning at about 9am for kid of all age's. that's another place to find' mum's.
Hope this helps and would love to hear from you on how you went. We may beable to meet one day.
Kind regard's Sylvia mum of one 2 legged son and 4 legged son. bye
Sorry what can you get up to with a new born socially, Well not really that much but get them into a great routine and once that is esstablished then you can find out when we sleep, eat , ect. Then you can visit friend's and meet people until they get mobile then it's a whole new kettle of fish. Then they don't want to sit in the stroller any more and if friend's want to meet there is only about 3 choices, 1 come to your home where there is lot's of safe play area's 2, go to a kid's safe play ground, 3 come to your house when the kid's are sleeping.
Heheheh, I'm finding this problem now that my little man only has 2 speed's flat out and faster, so enjoy the sleeping baby thing, but when they get bigger there more fun to play with. The Capalaba Cinema also have a MUM"S AND BUB"s movie morning I think it's Tuesday or Wednesday and while they stay in there stroller's you can alway's go to the movie's.
Any way hope this help's and  How's this for an Idea we could meet somewhere in the local area and get to now each other too. we are all mum's in the Redland's and we all have kid's and it's just great to meet some one else who is in the same shoes we are in. So I will leave that thought with you lady's.

Hi,
I am new to this forum and noticed there are a few redlands mums on here.
I am a mum to a 6 1/2 month old boy called Finley. I am currently with a mothers group who regularly meet up in the Cleveland area. We all have kids around the same age and are all quite young mothers (under 30). We normally meet at a cafe.
If you are interested in coming and meeting up with us please email me at tracy_duncan@bigpond.com and I will let you know the details of our next catch up.
Cheers, Tracy
