Okay, well DH arrives home friday arvo from working away since sunday. Hes been out bush with 3 other fellas, I know for sure that him and only 1 other would be cooking.
So, I was thinking of cooking him a nice meal for friday night dinner as I am pretty sure that he would be going out hunting on saturday night, then I think sundays hes going away again.
I am just after some ideas on what you would cook for your partner?

I am thinking roast chicken/pork/beef or no idea lol.

When my hubby's been away for a few nights/weeks, I generally cook up a big meat and vegie meal - potatoes, sweet potato, peas, beans, carrots, corn, brocolli etc because when he's away, they don't eat vegies at all and that's usually all he wants when he gets home.

nah I think I will pass on the feral pig and think he will feel the same. LOL

DH is so hard to cook for he likes simple things. But he hasn't had roast for awhile.

I'd go with the roast. If he likes simple meals then I'm sure he'd appreciate a roast.

Roast it is. He told me he was going hunting though on friday, but I told him I wanted to cook him dinner. And he then said that he will go hunting on saturday night then.
