Hello can anyone help. Being a new mum and don't like to read up on books much (dont' have the time) I would like any suggestions on how to get my little girl on the formula milk which is InfaSoya to normal fresh cow milk.
We have tried her from InfaSoya to fresh Soya milk after 3 weeks no go. Tried normal fresh milk no go. So now what' next. The thing is I am lactose so I dont' drink milk and I dont' know what kind of milk there is out there. Any suggestions. My daughter is nearly 16mths and in 3mths we travel overseas so like to get started now on a few suggestions.

Also when are they suppose to be taken of formula milk is there a age???

In the book 'Baby Love'- Robyn Barker, it says you can switch to cows milk from 9 months on if breastfeeding, 12 months if formula feeding. Maybe you could try mixing the 2 together and gradually phasing out the amount of Formula in the mix?

Sounds so strange mixing formula milk with fresh milk. But I am willing to try. I should look into that book. Thank you

i agree with my daughter i just cut down the amount of formula and added cows milk on top it took about a fortnioght but she was fine after that i also put her on the toddler formula for a while and that you can add to cows milk and she then started drinking cows milk straight then she likes drinking it out of a straw to we just wizz the milk in a milkshake maker and then she drinks it like that for a treat and a bit of fun

Good luck:wave:

mel06 if I can do it in 2wks that will be a blessing. We work long hours so everyone we are doing like changing milk and toilet training is all done slowly and later but hopefully by the time she's 2yrs we are abit more organised

thanks guys,
