Hi everyone!

I've always had problems thinking of gr8 boys names so would really love some help.

We're more interested in hearing names that aren't too common though. So if you can think of any I'd love to hear them please.

Girls names we have plenty of though:-)

thanks.

Hi, My little boys name is Kai.
I thought it was quite unusual but there seems to be a few around.

Don't know if these are unusual enough, we are fairly traditional with boys names. DP would even consider the ones I am suggesting:laughing:

How about Leo or Finn/Flynn? I love Oliver too, but that is fairly classical name.

Good luck with your search, it is a big decision.

I guess it depends on what sort of names you like...whether you want common names or unique names...and then whether you like manly names, or "trendy" names or whatever...

Anyway, here's some that I like:

James
Tyler
Alec
Xavier
Elijah
Octavian
Bryan
Harris
Oscar
Lachlan
Oliver

At the moment, some of the more "modern" common names are:
Bailey
Riley
Connor
Oscar
Oliver

I've seen COUNTLESS people naming their little boys these names...I think they'll be the new "Michael," "John," "Matthew," and "Jack." lol. (I actually wonder if, when our bubs are adults, the name "John" will be a "unique" name...). lol.

Noah
Ethan
Jacob
Zac (as in Zachary)

Good luck and let us all know what you decided to go with!

How about Jamison/Jamieson, there's a little boy that goes to my daughters playgroup called Jamison and he is so cute, I'd never heard that name until then. Good luck.

When i had bubs i got told right the way through my pregnancy i was having a boy nd to my suprise when the day came she was a girl  but it was a GREAT suprise as i did not want to know the sex of the baby but they told me anyway(even tho they were wrong :p )

but thinking i was having a boy it was a choice between "lachlan" or "Cooper" i just love those two names :D

Good luck with whatever you choose :smiliedance:

Here's a few I like:

Cabe, Rome, Xavier(getting pretty common though), Onyx, Buster, Clancy, River, Byron, Fynn, Oak

Some people would probably think they're strange but I reckon they're cool.
Ethan & Cooper are nice but are becoming the new John & Ben

Some of the names i had for my DS that DP didn't like were Zane, Finn, Ryland and Cohan. We agreed on Maddox. However DP had his heart on Hank but it just reminded me of a dog. Good luck :fingerscrossed:
