View Full Version : Another 'Man' Pregnant With Twins
Man pregnant with twins
A Spanish man is due to become the first in the world to give birth to twins.
Transsexual Ruben Noe Coronado, 25, is pregnant and due to become a dad in September.
Ruben, who was born a woman called Stephanie, will bring the boys up with partner Esperanza Ruiz, 43, reports the Daily Mail.
American Thomas Beattie, pictured, made headlines round the world last year after giving birth to daughter Susan Juliette. Like Beattie, Ruben is officially a man but retained his female reproductive organs.
When doctors told girlfriend Esperanza, already a mother of two, she could not have any more children, she and Ruben decided he should try to become pregnant with donor sperm after fertility treatment.
Ruben said: "It's like being born with three hands. You take advantage of them while you have them and you get rid of one of them when they get in the way.
"To protect my children I'm not going to sell my story now or in the future. I've gone public with this so people start to see transsexual pregnancy as normal.
"But I am thinking of selling the picture everyone's going to want of me looking pregnant. If I don't do it, someone else will and they'll make a fortune."
He plans to give birth at a hospital in Barcelona, where the couple recently moved from Malaga due to family problems.
Once he becomes a dad he will continue sex change surgery interrupted to enable him to fall pregnant and give birth.

Well it is normal, they still have woman reproductive organs, therefore it is no big deal, it is certianly no miracle, so to be honest I don't know why these stories keep popping up in the news  who gives a flying ^$$@.
eta. Also, yes congrats to them, I hate when people were judging the other guy who had a baby and who is having another one, they are still loving parents regardless of their appearance.

Having a uterus does not instantly make one a woman. People really need to actually consider that trangender people find it incredibly offensive and hurtful to call them by the wrong gender. He is a man who happens to still have a uterus which is enabling his family to have a child, good for them.

I get what ur saying and i no they r a man in a womens body i do get that but scientifically they r a women they have the sex organs of a female in this regard they cannot b called a man giving birth cos like i said before a man with a penis now thats a shock this is a media stunt

Of course he can be called a man. Science doesn't over ride the feelings of the person involved. Perhaps if we considered people's feelings more, the world would be a much nicer place. It's a shame people can't be happy for them rather than dismissing it as a media stunt.

I agree, they should still be referred to as males. I just wish they wouldn't harp on about it being some miracle, because scientifically it isn't, they still have female bits.

I didn't see the word miracle anywhere in this news story. But just on that, lots of straight people refer to their pregnancies as a miracle, why should this be any different?

not in this news story, I'm talking about the older one. They kept going on about it being a miracle that a male had a baby. Of course any baby is a miracle, but the circumstances around it aren't iykwim.
What's that? Someone with a uterus is pregnant? *faints*

I think its good that its in the news.
The amount of flack and discrimination that Thomas Beattie and his wife copped was disgusting, hopefully the more transexuals pregnancies are put out there, the more normal it will be for everyone.

I see EVERY pregnancy as a miracle!!
Babies are precious:bee:
I can only imagine what the whole pregnancy experience would be like being A MAN!!!
Going out in public, buying cots and prams and baby clothes would be an ordeal thanks to onlookers whispering and sniggering.
This is why articles like this 'pop'up'...to try and get the word out there that while not the "norm" - this family should be congratulated and celebrated as much as any other loving family.
While HE does have the internal reproductive organs of a woman - falling pregnant would have (I can only imagine) been a huge decision to make and to go through.
Nowhere in their story are they hiding the fact that he was a woman and still has his original female baby making bits.
TBH I'd rather read about this in the "news" than Brangelinas etc new edition.
